Glad you had a great chrimbo - dont worry bout diet this week - having a great chrimbo is the important thing - there's 51 other weeks of the year to worry bout diet!!!! Take care hun xxx

glad to hear you had a good christmas hon. don't worry too much about what you haven't done that's in the past. have a good kickstart week x

hey Keish, hows ur morning going? x

Hiya Keisha. We have all given in one way or another this week. I have not counted points for about 2 weeks now. Just trying to be careful where I can but even i have given in and at present eating 2 bars of chocolate a day!!!! I was having 1 a week lol.

I know any weight you have gained will be off by January. You are so determined. We know this is not going to stop you!

Thanks everyone for your support. It means a lot to me and also keeps me going.

Well I been 100% on track since friday. Doing kickstart and finding it quiet hard but I'm sticking with it cause I really don't want to see a hugh gain on the 5th jan.

I'm really worried about my little one at the moment. She all of a sudden have a fever which started yesterday. At the moment its at 38.3 degrees, I've been giving her Calpol and it only drops at bit to 37.1, then goes right back up again. Tomorrow would make day 3 and if it doesn't break by then I'll take her to the gp on Tuesday morning. She had a high temp before but it never passed 37.5, so I'm really worried. The only reason I'm not 100% panicing is she is eating and drinking as normal and she is 90% her normal self but you can see it in her eyes she is not well. She hasnt been sleeping well at all last night. Most of the day yesterday she would only go to sleep on me or her daddy, everytime we put her down she would wake. So she getting lots of extra cuddles now.

Hope everyone's having a lovely relaxing Sunday.

Really hope your little one's temp drops soon. It is so worrying isn't it when our children are poorly. Eating and drinkng is a good thing.

Oh, I hope she gets well soon! :(

That she's still eating/drinking is a good sign, make sure she keeps her fluids up more than anything :)

Hugs :hug99:

xx

Ah that is such a shame, I hope she gets better soon. Big cuddles and water :)

Hey hon, sorry to hear your daughter isn't well. As others have said, at least she is eating and drinking so will keep hydrated. If you are worried, perhaps you should ring NHS Direct (0845 46 47)? I have always found them very good.

Thanks all. Call the nhs direct Karen, cause her temp is at 39 degrees now and they called the out of hours gp. So i got an appointment for 7:40pm tonight. Hope this fever really break soon as I'm 100% worried now. Will update you when I get back from the hospital or tomorrow.

Hope your little one is okay Keisha. Will be thinking of you xxx

I hope your little one is better soon. My toddler always gets fevers around 39.8 to 40 when he is ill, he just seems to be prone to high fevers no matter what bug he gets. I give him calpol & infant nurofen, they can have both at the same time, and all he wears is his nappy. If I didn't do that his fever goes over 40 & we end up at the hospital but I learnt over time hoe to manage it mostly at home. Even an ear infection causes a high fever in my toddler.

I hope the appointment went well x

Oh Keisha I am sorry. I hope the appointment was ok. Let us know how she is xxx

Just came back from the hospital and I have a splitting headache. Ariana has slightly swollen tonsols. Was not given any antibotics cause pedrication said that it was just a viral infection and was not serious. Just told me to give her loads of fluids and calpol. If it gets any higher or does not go away after 5 -7 days to bring her back to A&E.

Good to hear that it's not major - don't forget to take care of yourself too!
