Kirstabubble's Food Diary - Back on it 100% :)

Good morning all.

Still feeling a tad ropey but I'll live. Splitting headache mind. I ended up having mushroom rice yesterday so am saying 15 syns for the day just in case.

I don't really know what I want to eat today. I'm going to our friends house for dinner and he is cooking steak pie...but he is going to make it with just a lid, rather than a whole pie, so I can pick off the pastry and just eat the filling. I'd rather just take my own food but he's gone to so much trouble that I am just going to be as good as I can. I won't drink as am driving. What do you think I should allow for a steak pie filling syns wise - I'd imagine he'll use a bit of oil and flour? I think today will be EE though as I am not going without carbs!

Thursday 3rd February - Extra Easy

Breakfast - 28g porridge oats (Hex B), skimmed milk (Hex A). Banana.

Lunch - I'm not sure yet - I was out last night. so didn't have any time to make any lunch. I will keep it syn free though so that I can just keep all my syns back for tonight!

Dinner - steak pie filling...and veg I would imagine but who knows!

I hate days like this. Going to restaurants I can cope with becuase the choices I make are in my hands. Having a friend (who we haven't seen for ages as we've been so busy) cooking for us is a completely different kettle of fish!

Last night didn't go so well. The steak pie also had cheese and guiness in it. Ooops. Oh well. Back on it today (well sort of).

Friday 4th february - Extra Easy

Breakfast - Oats So Simple with milk (Hex A and B). No fruit though as didn't have any.

Lunch - Chicken in black bean sauce with plain rice (5.5 syns).

Snack - Cupcake in a meeting, was quite small though so shall say 12 syns.

Not sure if I will even have any dinner as I am footy AGAIN tonight but I will go to the shop and get some fruit. I reckon I had about 30 syns yesterday so with today's total I've had 80 for the week so far. I'm going to need 20 for tomorrow (one of my best friend's is moving to Singapore and we're having her leaving drinks :(). So that leaves me five for Sunday.

All I'm doing Sunday is cleaning and popping to Lakeside so I don't think it should be too much of a hardship!

I just had ten syns worth of pick n mix. FOR NO REASON. Seriously, what is wrong with me????

Right, there's a line, I've drawn it. The last two days went a bit Pete Tong (as they did last week!). I have two days to make up for it.

I shall keep to the 20 syns tomorrow as promised. And the 5 for Sunday.

And whatever is thrown at me at WI, I shall take it!

Do you want to make use of the very special Official SW Dizzy tank wagon? superglue is included ;)

keeps you safe from those dammned food fairies that fling pick n mix down your gob :p

Hmmmmm, I seemed to have fallen of the tank this weekend! I was quite good foodwise until I was drunk on the way home on Saturday and so had a MAccy D's. Although it was my dinner to be fair, it wasn't an extra! And then for lunch yesterday I had a (small) hot dog.

Weigh in today. Dread to think what's gonna happen!

Monday 7th February - Red Day

OMG your nuts getting 2 kittens!! We got 1 she's now 18 months and still crazy! I'd move everything out their reach!! LOL

My cats called Matilda - which usually gets shortened to Tilly

Awwwwww I love the name Tilly (and Matilda) - we thought about it for our girl but our friend's brother's cat is called that, and they're the same colour so OH didn't want them having the same name (he's very odd sometimes!). We pick them up next Thursday....I am so excited. Thankfully other than the TV we don't have much stuff that's breakable (or that I mind being broken anyway!).

Have you got pics? I think I'm turning into a cat lady!

Well, a VERY deserved 1lb gain last night. I'm not sad, just more focused. It's a bit frustrating that I'm away from Thurs to Sunday this week but the hotel we're staying at has a pool, so I shall be using that everyday, and also it's up to me to choose the right things. Although I will be going to the HArd Rock Cafe - it's kind of a tradition that me and OH go to one in every city we visit!

Anyway, diary for today...

Tuesday 8th February - Extra Easy

Breakfast - 2 x Weetabix (Hex B) with skimmed milk (part of Hex A) with banana and sweetener.

Lunch - Homemade veggie soup, then tomatoes and cottage cheese and two ryvita (3 syns). Shape zero yoghurt.

Snack - Sushi snack pack (1/2 syn), small sqaure of birthday cake (not mine - 12 syns)

Dinner - Roast chicken breast, with roasted potatoes and butternut squash, then to save syns made mushroom and onion gravy. 3 jelly babies (3 syns)

So 16.5 syns for yesterday, which is 24.5 for the week

Sorry for the delayed response CD, I went to Krakow for four days and had a super time (apart from visiting Auschwitz, which was one of the most harrowing and horrendous things I have ever seen). I also ate and drank quite a lot so am preparing for a gain (again) tonight but I've planned my week and so am back on track.

Kitties are coming on Thursday, I'm picking them up in their sexy little basket!

Dairy for today...

Monday 14th February - Extra Easy

Breakfast - 2 Weetabix (Hex B) with Skimmed Milk (part of HexA). Banana.

Lunch - Homemade veggie soup. 2 Scan Bran (2 syns (with Marmite). Natural fromais frais with sweetener and vanilla flavouring.

Dinner - Pasta carbonara with philly light (3 syns). Small glass wine (6 syns).

I also bought some chocs back for work from hols...had a third of one, THEY ARE HORRID! Thankfully. So I'm counting a syn for it, safe in the knowledge I'll be going nowhere near them!

Now that IS a mighty impressive looking cat basket!

glad you had a nice time away (apart from Auschwitz) I can imagine that would be quite a distressing experience going there.

Take any gain square on the chin chick....at least you're expecting one - and you enjoyed getting it :D the good thing is you've jumped straight back on plan.....AND the choccies were nasty ;) BONUS lol :) x x

I've changed my mind on today as I REALLY wanted a milky drink (I am having a star day again, I don't seem to have weeks anymore!)

So today is Green instead. My two Hex A's have been milk, My Hex B1 is Weetabix, and my Hex B2 will be 2 Scan Bran and then 51g of (raw weight) bacon in my dinner. Which means I've saved myself two syns. Result!

Well after my disappointment last night, I perked up a bit when I discovered that I had actually lost weight last week. Albeit half a pound but it all adds up :)

Still very sad about poor Lola chops. Hope she is ok but she is in the safest place and the next fortnight will hopefully fly by.

Diary for today.

Tuesday 15th February - Green Day.

Breakfast - Egg and beans on brown toast (Hex B1). HexA1 is milk.

Lunch - Chick pea dhal and rice (2 syns), natural fromais frais, small handful cereal (2 syns) and banana.

Dinner - Not sure as yet. I'm going to one of the other bridesmaid's house for dinner as we're gonna start organising the hen do. She's a veggie so meat won't be a problem. I'm going to take a mug shot with me just in case though and I'm sure I will use another Hex on SOMETHING.

Syns - 3 haribo (4 syns).
