Kitty Kicks Butt 32lbs gone forever.

A reasoable fast but not great, digging my heels in to try to stop the slide in to holiday. Busy 2 hours at work meant I was really tired and hungry so I'm over 500 but under 1000. UD tomorrow, then I'm out for dinner Thurs, nephew's party Saturday (I think) out to Dirty Dancing at The Opera House Monday with dinner beforehand and so the list goes on! Hols on Thurs. Finding the going very tough!

I haven't even started my leave yet & I'm the same. I've overeaten again today & it's all cos I know the scales are up this week. Stoopid hey x

I'm glad I'm not the only one! Yes, Cate the plan is for DDs Fri and Sun but my brother and is wife are so disorganised that the party could change from Sat to Sun at a moments notice so I may just have to go with the flow. We'll see how it goes.

Why not just do the best you can when you can. Switching off holiday mode head is near impossible! Even some low calorie days instead of fast days? Skip breakfast/lunch see if you can hold out to evening and have a proper meal and a wee treat instead of a full on fast day? You'll know what's best for you and doable but the world won't end if it takes you a few extra weeks to get to goal. xx

It's all I can do. Problem is I'm fairly sure there'll be a horrendous gain when I'm away despite my best efforts. Planning lots of swimming and walking if it's not too hot to try to offset the damage.

So true. Getting hung up on dates can mean we put unnecessary pressure on ourselves and sets us up for failure.

Thank you ladies! Weebuns I hope Gavin and Oscar get on, we can babysit the day of the wedding!!
I was up all night and spent most of it in the bathroom. I'll not go in to details but I don't think yesterday's extra calories are going to be causing any problems :-(
Today should be an UD but as weebuns suggested I'm going to wait and eat as late as I can and just keep calories low for the next few days if I can.

Oh dear. Hope your stomach has settled but every cloud has a silver lining and now you don't have to worry about the extra calories. A good idea to give your insides time to recover by leaving it as long as you can to eat which will then also help keep your UD cals to a good level! Kills two birds with one stone. Can I get any more cheesy sayings into this post?

Just read all your diary. You're doing well so don't beat urself up about ur holiday.

I'm starting 4:3 today and so far so good. Have picked up lots if useful tips in ur diary :)

Hope ur stomach is feeling better x

Gavin is so funny with other dogs...he's such a wimp. Sees them...starts wagging his tail and practically crawling along on his stomach to them... and then flings himself on his back at their feet. When he gets up he keeps licking their faces and trying to cuddle in! And he's always up for a carry on playing with them..head down...bottom stuck up in the air. x

Sorry you were poorly! Hope you're feeling better now honey. Remember you're on holiday & don't let diet spoil it, I'm sure you told me the exact same & I'd managed to lose my gain in 2 weeks & I was a huuuuuge pig x

But my holiday hasn't actually started yet, not till next Thursday! Good day today, no breakfast, took one child to Belfast for tennis tournament, then went the other way to collect a blazer in Bangor and a potter in the shops. Home for 2 rolls with ham and coleslaw then 2 mile Leslie walk. Dinner has yet to be decided!
Feeling much better anyway which is half the battle.

Our mood makes a huge difference honey xx

I'm glad with how today went. I had a chicken sandwich tonight as I wasn't very hungry and did the Leslie walk (2 mile) for the second time. I'm going to try a 3 mile one tomorrow and see how that goes cos I'm out tomorrow night and won't have the luxury of a second go. Planning to keep tomorrow very low until I go out and then enjoy dinner properly, hope it works out that way!

Well done on a good day and I think your plan for tomorrow sounds very sensible. Hopefully it'll mean you can enjoy your meal out without guilt.

Glad you're feeling better. Sounds like a good plan for tomorrow - we need to enjoy ourselves too. Well done on the exercise, I only did the 3 mile one today was planning on doing a 2 mile one too but didn't have the time. Cc

Not been fasting the past few days with one thing and another, just trying to eat sensibly and get a bit of exercise in while I deal with life in the midst of it all! Nephew's party tomorrow, out Monday night to see Dirty Dancing at the Grand Opera House in Belfast with "pre-theatre" dinner beforehand although sensible choices should be possible. I'm hoping to be able to fast on Tuesday and then it's all downhill to holidays on Thursday. I'm keeping up my Leslie Walks 3-4 miles a day, glad today anyway that it is indoors!!
