[FONT="]Ingredients:[/FONT]
[FONT="]340g/12oz dried penne pasta[/FONT]
[FONT="]Fry light[/FONT]
[FONT="]2 onions, peeled and finely chopped[/FONT]
[FONT="]4 garlic cloves, peeled and sliced[/FONT]
[FONT="]2x400g cans chopped tomatoes[/FONT]
[FONT="]1tsp chilli flakes (optional)[/FONT]
[FONT="]1tsp artificial sweetener (or sugar)[/FONT]
[FONT="]A handful of chopped basil leaves[/FONT]
[FONT="]Salt and freshly ground black pepper[/FONT]
[FONT="]4 level tbsp grated Parmesan cheese[/FONT]
[FONT="]Method:[/FONT]
[FONT="]1. [/FONT][FONT="]Cook the Pasta according to the packet instructions, drain and set aside.[/FONT]
[FONT="]2. [/FONT][FONT="]Meanwhile, heat a pan sprayed with frylight and add the onion and garlic and cook for 3-4 mins. Add the tomatoes, chilli flakes and sweetener, cover and cook gently for 8-10 mins, stirring occasionally.[/FONT]
[FONT="]3. [/FONT][FONT="]Remove the tomato sauce from the heat, stir in the basil and season well. Place the pasta in warmed serving bowls, top with the sauce with the Parmesan sprinkled over.[/FONT]
