Pinch punch first day of the month my lovelies!

Sorry I haven't been very chatty recently as I am STILL fighting off my horrible man flu that I've had for 3 weeks now & I've been a miserable moo. I just thought I'd report that I have lost 1.5" off of each thigh in the last week. I don't weigh myself so don't know how many lbs I've lost since I began but I'll post the rest of my measurements tonight. My thighs have always been where I carry most of my weight so it's really motivating to see them shrinking. Anyway, here's my menu for today:

Friday 1st April 2011 - Green

Breakfast - 3 slices weight watchers wholemeal danish (never again I'm sooooooooooo full & only had 3 because that's a Hexb portion) with 3 tsp reduced sugar jam (1.5 syns) & tea with milk from allowance.

Lunch - Dhaal & salad with pepsi max

Dinner - Roast chicken (HexB 2), roast potatoes, brocolli, gravy (2 syns)

Syns - 3.5 so far

Inches lost in the past week:

Bust - 0.5"

Waist - 0.5"

Hips - 1"

Thighs - 1.5" EACH!

Inches lost since beginning SW on 06/01/2011:

Bust - 3.5"

Waist - 3.5"

Hips - 3"

Thighs - Unknown as I forgot to measure last time :(

I've done this by eating curry's (my style but sw friendly), chips, MAHUSIVE roasts, chocolate, ice cream, cakes, kfc style chicken, lamb steaks, cheese on toast, Fish n chips, pizza....basically carb/protein heavan! So what I'm trying to say is if you're having an off day then draw a line under it and start afresh as you will and can do it! Hope everyone has a beautiful weekend. xx

Morning All!

I'm still feeling smug about my inch loss as the first thing I did when I woke up this morning was check myself in the full length mirror. Mind you I have a habit of checking the profile view of my belly in the mirror several times a day. I suppose it's my way of reassuring myself I'm doing ok as I don't have a set of scales so belly watching must be my equvilent of the hopping on the scales every 5 minutes vice some of you guys have on here lol! Here's my menu for today:

Saturday 2nd April - EE

Breakfast - Banana, 2 weetabix (HexB) with Onken FF strawberry yogurt & tea with part HexA

Lunch - Left over roast chicken with salad & an apple.

Snacks at Nan's house - 1 oven baked chicken nugget (2 syns) & 2 teas with skimmed milk.

Dinner at Nan's house - Chicken, black eyed beans & salad.

Dessert when I get home - Fruit & low fat ice cream (3 syns)

Mirror hopping first thing in the morning is the ultimate pick-me-up!

Had a crazy dream that I just remembered and who else to share it with first but you? I dreamt I was having dinner with like, my ENTIRE family, and I decided to make a Smash pizza - but idiot me put cheese on before tomato puree, so then I poured some passata over it and put it in the oven, which I forgot to pre-heat... So eventually, I flip it over to do the other side and then think I've forgotten the cheese, so plonk a whole load more on it. OK, you think that's silly? The base, I used naan because I forgot about the potato in the kitchen. The passata turned out to be salan masala. And I didn't even measure the damn cheese.

My dreams are seriously |=[_](|<£|) up!

I ain't EVER eating round yours unless it's your mum cooking lol! Oh my little polly pocket (my mum found my old toy box the other day lol!) you do have some strange dreams don't ya? I think it's because you have lots on your mind other than slimming world so that's why your dreams are so funky at the moment. Just chill with some wall's soft scoop light n some sliced kela and relax innay? I never remember my dreams unless I'm stressed and then I have really weird one's too. I've got to say your freshie pind walli pijja concoction above has really put me off making it for a little while lol! xx
 
Happy Mothers day 2011 to all the lovely mother's that are with us and those that aren't any more. I believe that Allah (God) made mum's as he/she could not be everywhere and blessed me with the bestest in the whole wide world! I've just had lunch with my beautiful mummy and I'll shortly be going to visit my gorgeous nan who gave me the best gift EVER...my mummy! Hope everyone has a lovely day!

Lunch - mashed potato with 2 laughin cow extra light triangles & 1/2 tin baked beans.

Snack at Nan's - Apple, Cadbury's chocolate eclair (2 syns) & tea

Dinner at Nan's - Dhaal, rice, Chicken (3 syns) & salad.

Dessert - Milk chocolate Fibre Plus bar (2nd HexB), 2 plums & Tea

Morning Peeps!

I'm sooooooooooo happy as I fit into my favourite tailored trousers that haven't fit me for over two years. That 1.5" that I trimmed off of each thigh last week has really helped as I hold most of my weight on my thighs n hips which is a pain as my waist is a dress size smaller than my bust & hips so it's good that it's evening out nicely. My slimming world journey may be a very slow one but my patience seems to be paying off....xx

Monday 4th April 2011 - Extra Easy

Breakfast - Large apple, one fried egg, 2 slices WM toast (HexB), 3 tbsp baked beans, NAS squash & tea with milk from HexA allowance.

Snack - Fruit & Tea from Allowance.

Lunch - Potato & mixed pepper salad & 7up free.

Snack - Fruit & tea with milk from allowance.

Dinner - Courgette & Lamb Curry (1syn) served with brown rice & salad. Pepsi max.

Dessert - Milk chocolate fibre plus bar (5.5 syns) & Tea

Thank you so much for this message darling it's really made me feel good. I doubted my decision not to weigh myself every week a lot in the beginning as I kept reading peoples progress and was happy for them but I didn't really get much inchloss in the beginning and with being allowed to eat so much yummy food I really thought I would end up putting on weight instead of losing it. I'm glad I stuck with it though as I'm really seeing a difference. I'm not gonna go shopping just yet as I wanna neaten up a bit more. Thank you for all of your support as snooping on your diary gave me the push to join minimins and start my own diary so BIG mwahs to you. As for the constant glow that I bring to your MiniMins life that's because.....I'm jur sunshine your only sunshine (on minimins ;)) I make you haipeeeeee when skies are grey...lol! :p xx

Snack - Fuit & Tea

Dinner - Home made chicken burger, okra curry (1 syn) & Weight watchers wrap (5 syns) served with salad.

Dessert - Fruit & FF yogurt.

Morning All!

It's my brother's happy birthday today so we're getting take out & not going out as it's a school night but I'm not gonna go too wild. Here's my menu for today:

Wednesday 6th April 2011 - Extra Easy but may turn into a Green.

Breakfast - 2 weetabix (HexB), Activia yogurt, banana & tea

Snack - Fruit n Tea

Lunch - Ainsley Harriot cous cous (0.5 syns) & salad

Snack - Fruit n Tea

Dinner - Chicken seekh kebab, Half lamb biriyani served with salad. I'm gonna say

Dessert - Low fat ice cream (3syns) & fruit

Syns - 3 + 12 for the take out as a whole chicken biriyani is 12 syns but I'm allowing more for lamb & I'm only having half. I have also allowed a couple of syns for the chicken seekh kebab as they may brush it with oil. So that's 15 syns for me today :)
 
Right then it's confession time I really don't think that 15 syn estimate is quite right today as I also had:

* strawberry syrup (4 syns?) with skimmed milk alowance :(

* Cadburys flake (9 syns) with my tea in the afternoon & NOT fruit :eek:

* Mini cadbury's caramel (4 syns) to cool my mouth down after the take away as it was REALLY hot :cry:

I have only had 37 syns this week so had 33 left for today as tomorrow would be my weigh in day if I weighed in so technically I'm still ok but I feel really bloated and just don't feel good as I'm not used to pigging out like this as I was never really a binger before slimming world so comfort eating doesn't do much for me. I guess I just ate the wrong combination of food & not enough fruit. I really hope this * week isn't as bad as the last one as the weather is warmer and I feel really disgusting. I guess I'm ranting because I feel tired as I had a really horrible period last month followed by 3 weeks of man/stomach flu and now it's * week AGAIN! :needhug:

After a slight hormonal blip yesterday Lady A is back and is having a 100% day today!

Thursday 7th April 2011 - Extra Easy

Breakfast - Banana, 2 weetabix (HexB), activia ff vanilla yogurt, tea with skimmed milk.

Snack - Apple & tea with skimmed milk

Lunch - Small portion Dhaal, rice & a massive salad.

Snack - Mini chomp (3 syns) & grapes

Dinner - Lamb & cauliflower curry served with rice & salad.

Dessert - Alpen light cho n fudge (3 syns) crumbled, microwaved for 30 seconds & topped with a scoop of walls soft scoop light (3 syns)

Belly watch done before work this morning was pleasing...I've lost and inch off of my waist & another half off of each thigh in the past week! The sun is shining, it's friday, I'm gonna see my family tomorrow and I get to have a lay-in in the morning. I'm gonna measure the rest of my slinky bow-dee when I get home and report back to you. Here's my menu for today:

I'm thinking of how much your kameez would have had to be tightened with those losses! (got my tailor hat on lol)
