Lauras Diary of Incubating

Fingers crossed that the internet starts behaving itself and you can keep up with how quick the threads seem to be moving these days!!

I'm the same with needing everything to have a place. Poor Tom, he gets told off if he puts the Flora on the wrong fridge shelf ;)

Glad baby is having a good wriggle and you can see the movement. I've still not seen anything other than the odd belly jerk because of my placenta but I do keep getting a foot in the ribs!!

Hope you're making sure you're getting plenty of rest as well as tidying up!!xx

We kinda live at the bottom of a hill in the middle of the country so reception for anything I've tried seems to be s!itty enough.

I've made a rule now for myself that anything that isn't done by around 8p.m isn't getting done to the next day so I tend to relax as much as I can after that.

Ohh yay nearly forgot, 'I'm a Celebrity' is on tonight YAY

Hi Laura :) hehe I love im a celeb x

How are the pains hun? Hope you're alright x definitely call your midwife if you're a little concerned. Could be baby engaging and/or your body preparing itself maybe x

35+4 -- 19/11/2013 -- TUESDAY

Well I was all set last night to catch up on all the chat. Had a nice cup of coffee and a big chocolate chip cookie and some strawberries all ready, jammies on and feet up when the lightning started. So mad dash around the house unplugging phones and sockets. Our house seems to be a beaking for lightning and something blows up everytime we have a storm. Managed to get everything sorted but of course it meant no minimums for me. Anyway thats my excuse this time.

I am exhausted today, I can't even bring myself to do the beds. I am sitting on the sofa still in my nightie!! Its 11a.m I really need to do something. Sleeping is getting more and more impossible. My hips are sore, under my bump is sore and the baby is sitting on my bladder so I feel I've to pee the whole time. I really felt like crying this morning.

Baby is very active though, seems to be on the move alot of the time. Moving about and rearranging my insides. Love watching my tummy jumping about and watching little bits stick out.

I've my midwife appointment tomorrow so I'll ask her about he pains under my bump. I'm really hoping it means baby is engaged. Wanna keep it in for a few weeks though (even though part of me has had enough) just to make sure it is well x

Oh no... How scary.. Hate lightening..
Yea baby seems to like my bladder too.. Up FOUR times in the night to wee!! Not good! Am shattered today...
She seems to have a calender in there with her.. Right on Q for third trimester bladder squishing.. Lets hope she still has it come EDD time!!! lol ;)

Aww I love lightning Frances, spent ages at the window looking at it. Its so beautiful, all the colours and the sky lighting up.

I'm hoping baby comes a week or so early. Really wanna be home in time to get all set for Christmas. Its important to my other kids. But I'd happily go over if it meant I could take this baby home with me on the same day I'm discharged

Whens your due date Laura ?
Sorry to hear how exhausted you are feeling today there's nothing worse when you have lots to do but you really should try and take it easy .xxxx

Hi Laura, sorry you're feeling tired and rubbish. I'm feeling pretty crappy myself - ready for baby to come now but not until he's ready of course! Four days 'til 37 weeks... I've been having pain at the bottom of my bump (along with the SPD pain which has got worse!) and needing the loo all the time and midwife said this morning that baby has definitely started engaging so hopefully it'll be the same for you :)

Due date is 20th December, but my DD was over 3 weeks early and my son was over 4 weeks early, so they'll be surprised if I go full term.

Sarah the pain is fairly strong, taking my breath away and my BH are fairly often. I managed to get dressed, but unfortunately I've only managed that and sitting back on the sofa lol. I really really need to do a little tidy up to keep on top of everything but I COULD NOT BE ARSED!!

That sounds v nasty :( Definitely worth getting yourself checked out. Staying on the sofa sounds like the best option to me, I would love to not move now myself but have an appointment later so no chance!

Sod tidying, you're 8 months pregnant! Do it when you feel like it, rest comes first. I'm doing bugger all around the house these days but luckily Colin is ace and has been helping out.

God I would really really love to say sod it lol. Hubby is so busy at work these days, but I know he is trying to get on top of everything so he can be off all over Christmas. We tend to work really well as a team after a baby is born. He is amazing really.

I need to make dinner and feed my DS his lunch so have to get up. I am watching a few taped programmes of One born every minute. I can't wait to get to that stage lol.

Laura are you timing your BH?? I think they say more than 3 in hour and ring the MW?? Could be wrong but maybe check it out.. Especially with your history of going early...
And do take it easy.. I know its hard when you've 2 littluns but as easy as you can...

God laura, you make me feel so lazy! Will you relax and mind yourself. I know you want to keep ontop of things but one day wont make a difference. Xx

I'm definately not in labour unless its the slowest in history lol, this has been going on since Thursday. I'd say babies head is engaging and then coming out and re-engaging.

Bróna I did very little today, just maintainence really. I find it hard to relax unless I just give up and go to bed, then I can lay about reading magazines and eating chocolate all day :D

Food today was alright

BREAKFAST
2 toast and butter

LUNCH
Prawn salad

DINNER
Homemade lasagna - (ex.lean minced steak, loads veg including a bag of spinach, cheddar, my own white sauce made up with fat free milk, parmesan and lasagna sheets)
Tossed salad

SNACK
1 packet melon from M&S
Fairy cake

My appointment is tomorrow so looking forward to hearing little ones heart beat x

Okay time to freak everyone out. Giant bump pic and my first ever nude picture.

If you are of a sensitive nature look away now
