Just be careful with guesstimating Syn values. Crusty bread is notoriously high in Syns, and depending on how much you actually ate you could have used 7 Syns (or more!) on that alone! Also as well as the crusty bread and the coleslaw, you would need to Syn the hummus too. Olives also need to be Synned - I think they're 7 for 1 Syn, and you would need to account a few Syns for the parmesan in the salad if the other cheese you had was your Healthy Extra. Also - unless the Pitta bread was a WW Wholemeal pitta, it cannot be counted as a healthy extra and would need to be Synned.

Ahh thanks for that, I literally had the smallest bit of crusty bread so I'm not worried about that, I counted the olives as 1 because I only had 3, I had no hummus and the coleslaw was reduced fat, I didn't have any pitta bread either, so I think I was ok..I'm only going to have a light tea so hopefully my syns won't be too high!

Happy Friday peeps! It's my first weigh in Saturday morning..how do people eat the day before their weigh day? I'm out for a meal tonight because its one of my friends birthday and so ill probably just have some sort of salad, I'm quite nervous for tomorrow actually...you feel like you eat loads but it's all free or within my syns!

Hiya I just marinated the beef in soy sauce and sweet chilli sauce mixed together, then I cooked off some onion and pepper and I used Thai sweet chilli supernoodles light and put some fresh chilli on top for a bit of spice :) xx

If it's the kind of Italian that only does pizza & pasta, I'd prob go for some kind of vegetarian pasta dish like lasagne or canelloni. Or if there's sone kind of pasta with seafood in a tomatoe-based sauce that might be ok.

Some Italian restaurants also do meat and fish dishes - some kind of grilled fish with salad would be very low syn

I would look out for any tomato based dishes or a risotto? Just try and have a big salad and then you may not need so much of the main dish :) :) enjoy! Xx
 
Gosh today has been manic! All I've had today is a bacon and scrambled egg pitta and a packet of walkers crisp! I'm hungry but don't want to have anything because I'm going out for a meal tonight and I get weighed tomorrow!

I completely agree. You may be more likely to go for the not-so-good things this evening if you have not eaten much substance all day.. I recommend lots of berries (ssf) mixed with some yogurt.

Back from my meal and I ended up having piri piri duck with vegetables and I had one glass of red wine...woops!
So today has been a right off really! But I've got quite a bit of syns left over from the week so I'm flexing today ha!
Hope it's not done too much damage for tomorrow's weigh in!

That sounds extremely tame for a meal out in an Italian restaurant! ! Don't right off today at all! Give yourself a high 5 for only having one glass of wine :D

I think 3lb is a fantastic loss! Especially when you had a meal out last night and admitted you were off plan. Don't be disappointed, you're lighter than you were last week! Well done x

Aw thanks :) that's made me feel better...there's just people in our class who lost 8lb in their first week but like you said I'm lighter than last week! Xx
