Stacey no! It's one blip carry on like it nvr happened and just do the rest of your products. If u drink some water and move on ul b fine.

You have not ruined it just forget about it and continue your day. It most likely wont make difference.

I know but I'm so angry and upset with myself right now! It's like I'm not taking it seriously, I see you all struggle but get through a whole 12 weeks! And I any even get through a few days. It's embarrassing!

gonna go and have a sulk now and feel sorry for mysel for a bit as see how I feel.

Stacey, it happens to everyone. Well maybe not everyone but i was weak and cheated my first week. I still lost a decent amount so draw a line under it and keep going. The learning point here is that next time you feel crappy, hungry, pissed off etc and want to eat something, remember the feeling you had just there and probably still do of guilt/self-disgust, and say to yourself, do I really want to feel that again? Also, there is a chance that yoy didn't knock yourself out of ketosis.. And even if you did, you'll probably go right back on it tomorrow.

Let me put it in perspective. A shake or choc bar in the plan has something like 15-20 grams of carbs. Multiply that by 4 and thats around 60-80grams. That still keeps you in ketosis. The body requires more than that to get knocked out. And yes thus is a generalisation and yes everyone is different and yes you did eat it all in one sitting. BUT what im trying to say is don't get discouraged by this. It won't hinder your weightloss. Take it as a momentary weakness but learn and move forwards. You can do this.

And just as a wee aside, i once had a planned dinner (3 courses) all very healthy but did have strawberries, ice cream and potatoes and was still in ketosis (trace) the next day. Your body goes in ketosis after it is done using up the sugars basically and starts using fat as fuel. So it will quickly use up the sugar from the chocolate and youll be fine. Xxx

Stacey if you seen me before the 12 weeks you wouldn't feel that way! You got to day four!! That's huge!! Don't eat anything else and move on, you will get through. Don't take the day off just get on it now.

Thank you for this, problem is I'm only day 4 and don't think in ketosis yet anyway.
I just don't understand why I keep doing it. I don't even think. It's like someone else does it and when I'm finished its like "oh sh#t"!

Right, calmed down 'even had a little cry' and that's not me at all! I would usually just carry on eating for the rest of the day so I'm going to at least break the habit now and have my shake and more water this evening!

ive just text my CDC and she has said same as you, also asked her for the keyostix as hopefully can see were i am then so will get them Friday.

im not giving up, I can't afford health wise or mentally to give up. So I have to suck it up and move on!

Mine of the reasons in so angry was i have been thinking that's its not as hard as I thought, stupid mistake. The diet isn't hard, it's the mind set and habits that you have to leave behind that's the hard bit.

Told oh that I messed up and he said just have a few glasses of wine and don't worry try again from tomorrow - lol food and drink is the answer to everything isn't it? I told him no of course. But it just makes everything better.

i need a new crutch!

Only just seeing all this now, so so glad you haven't given up :) getting to day 4 is a biggie! Another day or two and you'll be over the hardest hurdle and on your way. Please keep at it and don't be afraid to rant-its your diary so if anyone else wants to read it, its their choice. I waffle on mine just to clarify and remind myself what I did that day! And I do waffle lol.

thanks for the encourgament. it rained here so we went to the pet shop and the costa coffee instead - water for me!

yeh a huge wobble this afternoon but havent done anything else bad and am sat with my water now and happy(ish) lol

cant manage my last shake as feeling quite sick from what i ate earlier and dont want to force it today so just slosh with the water.

thank you, if it wasnt for all of you i would be sat with a huge chinese and a bottle or 2 of wine to try and make myself feel better which never actually works.

one thing i learnt with eating that today is that i dont like how my body feels after. im still feeling quite sick and in comparison to what i was eating prior to 'trying' to do CD it was a light snack! lol

head sorted and yeh i refuse to let anyone make me feel like that again. i need to stop the immediate reaction of looking to food for comfort/familiarity. its so wrong

i will get there.

you lot should charge, these are like councelling sessions, you would make a fortune! lol x
