I know but I'm so angry and upset with myself right now! It's like I'm not taking it seriously, I see you all struggle but get through a whole 12 weeks! And I any even get through a few days. It's embarrassing!

Stacey, it happens to everyone. Well maybe not everyone but i was weak and cheated my first week. I still lost a decent amount so draw a line under it and keep going. The learning point here is that next time you feel crappy, hungry, pissed off etc and want to eat something, remember the feeling you had just there and probably still do of guilt/self-disgust, and say to yourself, do I really want to feel that again? Also, there is a chance that yoy didn't knock yourself out of ketosis.. And even if you did, you'll probably go right back on it tomorrow.
Let me put it in perspective. A shake or choc bar in the plan has something like 15-20 grams of carbs. Multiply that by 4 and thats around 60-80grams. That still keeps you in ketosis. The body requires more than that to get knocked out. And yes thus is a generalisation and yes everyone is different and yes you did eat it all in one sitting. BUT what im trying to say is don't get discouraged by this. It won't hinder your weightloss. Take it as a momentary weakness but learn and move forwards. You can do this.
And just as a wee aside, i once had a planned dinner (3 courses) all very healthy but did have strawberries, ice cream and potatoes and was still in ketosis (trace) the next day. Your body goes in ketosis after it is done using up the sugars basically and starts using fat as fuel. So it will quickly use up the sugar from the chocolate and youll be fine. Xxx

I just don't understand why I keep doing it. I don't even think. It's like someone else does it and when I'm finished its like "oh sh#t"!
You'll be fine hun, I ate all sorts on Saturday and stayed in ketosis- it's only after overdoing the step 2 carbs I'm out of it... Chin up, onwards and upwards, and the best thing is that you won't let anyone wreck it for you again!
