Little Miss Naughty's Food Diary

I think we will end up staying on site and have Disney springs as our break from Disney springs. I was thinking maybe get a taxi from there to the outlets as would be cheaper than the hotel and maybe some restaurants .

If you get to Disney Springs you can walk up past all the expensive hotels to near Clarion, it's about a 15 minute walk and theres loads of restaurants and shops. It's a lovely walk, the path is all tree lined so plenty of shade :) Also the outlet isn't too far from Disney Spring, so won't be too expensive in a taxi. Make sure you have the Uber App on your phone....it'll save you a fortune!

Oh that’s interesting then cheers . I read on the forum things I go on all the best restaurants hubby has never been before and he likes his food. Also it will be a lot cheaper to eat here rather than in Disney itself .

How do you know what you can have with the Disney credits . We would get 2 quick service and 2 snacks if I remeber right. So was thinking use snack for breakfast then have dinner and tea and snack in afternoon. Are they clearly labelled what you can have? Is there like a symbol on the menu sayin what’s included? Iv assumes it would be all like huts selling food for the quick service but then I read someone went in the is it happy ever after and used quick service . How do you know where you can use them?

If you go on Google Maps and put in hotel plaza boulevard. You can see how far it is from Disney Springs to the restaurants. It's just one straight road, it's so easy.

The credits have changed for disney dining since I last did it. You used to be able to exchange a breakfast and snack for a character meal which was really good but don't think you can do that any more. There's symbols that says you can use your credits against items on the board at the fast food places, snack bars etc.... It's really easy but the hotel will tell you everything when you check in.

If you go on www.disboards.com you'll get every piece of information you could ever need about disney. It's the best forum I've seen and I used to use it all the time when planning holidays.

Ye that’s the site Iv been on it’s really good isn’t it.

Think I need to be on there every night looking lol . Some people plan like crazy I was just goin to go with the flow lol.

Your the one il be asking all
My questions to hahaha

Yep that's right there's a symbol! But a rough guide is anything generally around 5$ or less will be a snack credit - some even slightly more expensive things! Best thing if you're unsure is ask the person you're buying it from, whether it be a stall or in the bakery etc they will know.

Don't forget, all the Starbucks around Disney also take snack credits! You can use a snack credit for a large drink  and probably pastries and stuff too.

Quick service credits you can use anyyyyywhere that is "counter service" so like fast food style. Also, if you have any Quick Service credits left at the end of your holiday you didn't use, you can go spending on snacks as 1 QS = 3 snack credits!

As above, defo check out forums and facebook groups etc, loads of tips and advice on there

xx

Thanks Hun

Seems like there is a lot to take in. I reckon would take a few trips to figure out what your doin lol.

That’s good that can use at Starbucks. So for breakfast could get pastry and drink from there and still got quick service avalible for dinner and tea. I Think it will just be a case of figuring out where can eat for me lol

Thank you for ur help Both of you

Also wanted to eat out of the parks at night like steak and shake and visit Walmart. If didn’t have a car would struggle wouldn’t we.
You can download the lyft and uber apps onto your phone - buy a local pay as you go card for data if your plan doesn't do international. Costs very reasonable for their taxi service.

Good morning!

Had a lovely lazy day round the pool yesterday, it was my friends little girls 1st birthday, so have a glass of bubbles to celebrate :) I managed to walk 4.5 miles, that was mainly mooching around last night but still a good distance. Foodwise yesterday I was super good, had omelette for breakfast and risotto for dinner and a mars ice cream as a treat. I needed to be good though as the day before I really had a carb overload, my dinner was 100% carbs!

We're hoping to take the kayak out today as long as the seas not red flag, it's been red flag every day since we brought it! Then tonight we are going to the traditional Bulgarian night at one of the local restaurants. We go every year, it's a really good night. We're going with some friends so there will be 14 of us which will be nice.

Morning Hun

Hopefully you get in the sea today 😀

Bulgarian night sounds good always better when a lot of people isn’t it. Hope they get ur order right tonight .

It’s red flag again....absolutely gutted we’ve only got 2 more days, praying it’ll be yellow or green flag!

Bulgaria night is always a good laugh, there’s dancing, a show and fire walk. So really looking forward to it 😁

Oh no 🙈 take it red means no one aloud in then. Fingers crossed you manage to get in the sea before ur home.

Oooooh sounds good . Olivia said earlier when is the next holiday haha. He keeps sayin to me stuff Florida Let’s go in Oct and 2 weeks in summer next year . I’m puttin my foot down lol but abit of me is tempted haha not tellin him that tho

Yes red flag means you can’t go in with inflatables, candies etc... you can go in but not deep.

Florida will be well worth the wait, honestly it’s fab but you’ll all get hooked lol 😁

Oh right least can still go in the sea then.

Ye this is what I keep saying and he is like sooner go away in 7 weeks haha

Yes can still go in, the waves we’re really good today, Amy took our friends little boy in, they were jumping the waves for ages.

Could you maybe find a cheap last minute deal for October? That way you still get to go away but it won’t cost too much.

Thing is need to save about 9k for Florida that’s 3k for spends 6 for the holiday with Park tickets. Will all need payin by April/May so got no chance. Also Olivia bday and crimbo so December always costs a fortune.

Thing is Iv been lookin and all the 4stsrs all inclusive are 2k for Oct. would need go canaries because don’t think weather would be that great in Oct do you?

It’s also like 29th of Oct so goin into Nov. Mum came round last night and was like she won’t remeber Florida wait untill she’s older argh dunno what to do

We got a really good deal the other year to fuetuventura in October, it was less than £500 each all inc.

I don’t know if there’s a right or wrong age to do Disney with kids. We’ve taken Amy almost every year since she was 1 and she’s had a different experience every time. Tbh she won’t remember most of it from when she was young but we have pictures and can share the experience with her. Plus we have the amazing memories we made.
9k is a lot! I’d look at doing it cheaper. You can get a flight for between £500-£750 return each and hotels are about £70 - £100 a night. So I reckon you could do it for 3k plus tickets and spending money. I’d honestly shop around and book it all separately rather than doing a package.

It’s hard tho cause don’t have a clue what doin lol.

It’s like 1380 each for 2 weeks for flights and hotel. So that’s like 4150 plus 1200 tickets plus extra baggage and seats with extra rooms and insurance it’s around 5600
I didn’t think that was that bad . If u think Spain is like 1300 each for 2 weeks in summer. Do u think that’s a lot then?

Then I was saving 3k to take for spends or if go Disney hotel will be 2k spends as hotel is extra thousand
