*pops back when in need*! I looked mirin up and a site told me it's 25 calories per tablespoon so I count 1 tablespoon as 1 syn or 1 teaspoon/0.5 tablespoon as a 1/2 syn - using the 20 calories/1 syn rule :) So not to worry too much! xx

*nods* it would make sense but since this is so one off it's hard to be 100% confident. Online news was saying friday/saturday sold out within 14 mins of 9.30 - I got mine after 11 though after lots of jumping about sites and refreshing things while they recounted their tickets available/sales etc. Hoo, never again - it'll be the OH's turn to book next time it's something this in-demand lol

Lunch coming out the oven now - burned m'carrots but I'll take a picture anyway, poor diary is being neglected this week

Got my tickets confirmed!!!

*does the merry dance of joy then collapses on the floor as the stress of today pools out at my feet*

Never again am I gonna put myself though a ticket war! :D

It's for the Stone Roses reunion gigs in Manchester next June - got tickets for the first day :D

Off today and monday, two days in work tues/wednesday then we're off to the caravan in wales wednesday night for three nights - really looking forward to it, part of it being seeing if my nan and grandad notice the weight loss - last saw them after my first week on sw so here's hoping :)

I think Michael (son) has forgiven me - he looked shattered from being upset for ages but was fine soon as he got me back and I explained to him it was an accident. It's weird he's really into hallow'een though we've never taken him trick or treating he likes buying masks and things for at home but he got freaked out by everyone in costumes and masks :sigh:

I can imagine Charlie is over the moon to be at home with you lol Do you have to work through half-term or do you have some time off/any plans? xx

Woo, what a lot happens in a few days. Sorry I've been away so long.

That's great news about the Stone Roses gig and getting away for a while too, hope you have a great time.

About your feet, is the ankle problem up the achilles tendon? If so it could well be the pf, that's how mine started anyway.

I know its horrible having a gp blaming all your problems on your weight but (and here is me being really bossy) it really would be worth your while getting a referral to a decent podiatrist. Hold your head high, feel good about all the weight you have lost and go for it. I'm holding your metaphorical hand.

In the meantime you could also try rolling a little can of frozen orange juice under your feet for cold anti inflamm properties and massage. My physio recommended walking on a stony beach for using lots of tiny muscles for balance and massage. F that! That was one of the most painful things when it was bad. Keep doing the stretches anyway.

Just remembered, there is a special sort of taping podiatrists can do as well that is a wonderful relief. Please look after it, healing takes long enough with proper help, to leave it makes it so much worse :(

Morning Lo

Just been reading about the old ticket touts selling Stone Roses tickets on the bay for extortionate prices EEK!!!
Have a fab Saturday x
Ps whats cooking for today ?

Well done on the tickets Hunny!!!

I know the stress of trying to get concert tickets!!!

Good Luck with WI xxx

Yeah it is in the achilles tendon :( It's normally just in the heels but if I've been up and about most of the day it seems to go into the tendon and my ankle feels all puffy too :sigh:

Going to try and pop into the doctors on monday to get an appointment, might be a week on monday though if I can't fit it around work on tues/weds. I'll try my best to be forceful with them lol. I think I'm actually 4 stone lighter now since I went for my registration appointment with them back in January so at least there's evidence that I am doing something about my weight atm so hopefully they won't be the kind to have a go like the last GP :(:)

Thanks for the advice hun - really appreciate it :) I'll stick a can of something or other in the freezer shortly to have ready for bad days :D

I know! Before I managed to snag mine from See tickets at the normal (and yet still high price) I was looking at some sites trying to sell them off for £300! Mental - and all you'd be buying is there word they would send you their tickets when they come through in June next year

Mn food today planned probably a SW burger for a brunch (not had anything yet) and doing a roast chicken for tea, probably with rumbledethumps again lol. Nothing too exciting as should be going up to posh cheshire/wilmslow to visit the Cheshire Smokehouse - like a farmer's shop but they do their own smoked meats/cheeses/nuts and things - treats :D

Reminds me I'm behind on my food diaries - will get them posted up later on :)

:D Double whammy for me this week with a 4.5lbs loss =

1) Into the 22's!
2) 3st sticker achieved!

:bliss::banana dancer::banana dancer::bliss:

Need to do my first lot of monthly measurements to check on inches too - might leave those until tomorrow now for something else to look forward to. I know it should be good news BECAUSE I can now do up my size 24 Aviator Jacket I bought all those weeks back!! :wee:

:talk017: So Pleased for you Lo
very very well done :D

And mmmmmmhhh to the posh smokedhouse I love stuff like that

*goes off dreaming of smoked duck*

:woohoo: well done you !!! that's bloody amazing, you are so consistent ';winner:, definitely do the measuring hun, I did mine this week and have lost *big drum roll* a massive 90.5 inches no not centimetres... INCHES ...I reckon my grandkids wouldn't measure that much all over their body lol...so when I am feeling a bit off because I've only lost a lb this week I can look and say I lost all those inches though...I feel like I am getting back into normal-ish numbers again ....
good luck at the docs I changed my docs 2 years ago for the same reason, they were constantly putting everything down to my weight, a friend of mine still goes to that docs and he has suffered from depression so everything wrong with him is now depression related, some doctors are just so useless.
Have a fabby day hunni, you so deserve it xxxx

WELL DONE HUNNY,

Sorry I am a bit late catching up in all the diaries!

AND DOUBLE WELL DONE ON THE 3 STONE!!!

Amazing Hun!!! :) xxx

Thanks everyone :)

Think I'm glad I had the smaller loss last week - made this one seem all the sweeter :D

Was a bit naughty today though and had a piece of rich dark chocolate tart from the smokehouse, got a giant scone too but saving that for tomorrow  Keeping a count and I decided on the tart instead of going for the mcdonalds burger on wednesday night on the way to wales so think it's a fair trade :)

Brought in the last of my tomatoes from outside before the cold kills them off - been told they'll ripen indoors if I leave them near a window, otherwise I can make a mixed chutney I suppose: heirloom tomato crop (waiting to ripen).jpg
