Morning Lo

how's the heal and the ankle this morning ?

foodage looking ace
that chicken "hodgepodge" looks delish

Woohoo to 2 more days to go ditto here
and can't wait either

Going to put a dressing on the heel so it doesn't rub so much today, bit too cold to brave outdoors without boots - I'm not going out in socks and sandles lol

The hodgepodge was an improv, I think the phrase is another word for hotpot anywho - just dry fried some red onion with garlic and thyme, added some chicken thigh meat and a couple of bacon rashers (lean) and some mushrooms then added a cup of chicken stock and a 1/4 tsp of xantham gum and simmered it until the sauce reduced to a gravy :)

Ouch, hedgehog for tea would be a bit extreme lol

I got a blister from the trainers so switched over to my warmbat boots but they went and rubbed my heel higher up so two sore spots :( Not much to do with that other than dress it.

Think the ankle is related to the plantar faciitis - keeps flaring up in the evenings when I've done a lot of walking/standing. Gonna try and get in the docs on one of my days off before Wales - I'm going deaf too with repeated ear infections so think it's worth using up some of their time, sure they're gonna love me

One day left to go... thought it would never end lol Off to school in a minute, going 10 mins early so I don't have to walk so briskly (he's at school club tonight so don't pick him up until 4).

Hope you're on the mend with both your poor feet and the gastro to contend with :bighug:

I cannot get Xantham gum anywhere.
Have checked every tesco and health food store near me.
So frustrating.

Hope your blistery bits go away.
So uncomfortable!

Aww you are in the wars hunni, hope it all mends soon, yeah me too, tummy feeling a lot better today not so the case with my foot darn it, going by previous outbreaks it should be ok in a few days, but then again I've not had it this bad on my foot before so not really sure yet.
Hope you have a lovely time at the caravan sounds just like what you need, not too long to wait now xxxxxxxxxx

It's normally in the aisle where the Gluten free stuff is, if not I ordered mine from Tesco online ...good luck finding it xxx

Is it this weekend you go to the caravan?

I don't know what plantar faciitis is either. It's not one of your funny meals though is it :8855:

Aw :( Hope you can find it somewhere, it's handy to have. You could try online health food type shops? I got mine online though I don't think they do postage (or at least free postage) to ireland, meanies!

No - we'll be going down next wednesday night and back on saturday night - just having a long weekend off beforehand 'cause feeling in need of the break and my son's school breaks up tom'ow. He'll be at my mum's monday-wednesday next week for my work days so a different kind of break then too :)

Hehe I don't think I'd want to eat any meal that ends in 'itis' :8855:

At least the foot problems are a reminder to me that I need to keep going with the losing weight to help it :) Foot's hurting tonight but it's not gone into my ankle so should be okay for some yoga.

Would imagine you're giving your Iron Lily routine a rest or at least doing a modified version for the timebeing until you're (literally) back on your feet, seems wise xxx

I am so behind again, so sorry Lo. Food looked lovely, then I saw mention of chicken hedgehogs  :8855:

hope your foot is soon much better sweetie. I read abit about it and it sounds very very painful :bighug: xxxxx

No worries - I haven't been up to much being a hard of hearing hobbling ol' girl at the moment lol

Glad y'back on the chocolate again - I've got my selection box of finnish chocolate bars which arrived today (maybe it was a mistake - 45 bars!) so will be putting pics of them here and there on m'diary over the next few weeks heehee :angeldevil:

Hiya Bron - nice to see you :) And I appreciate you worrying about me though sorry for making you worry too :bighug:

Have been having a bit of an up and down time lately so have been struggling to keep up with threads and diaries - and the curvy team thread moves so quickly :sigh: Shall get back to catching up shortly though while I'm off work (and not in Wales - no internet there). :)

JeeHAYzeus this has been the longest morning of my life!! I think I've aged 15 years since I woke up

I -think- I managed to get roses tickets though after running around all over the internet looking for non-second hand ones, damn ticketmaster's stupidity!

Got to wait for a confirmation email though which might take 24 hours - evil!!!

But think I'm sorted - had to get friday tickets instead of weekend ones and our friend who would give us a lift if we could get tickets preferred a weekend day - hope he doesn't cry off now...

Oof - y'know what? :faint2:

Off to do yoga to try and calm myself down then get some food down me :faint2:

Hey Lo,
Cripes I felt frantic just reading your post lol :fingerscrossed: you get the tickets ok that and the Phantom trip will be a huge incentive for you...oh and gl for wi tomorrow am off now to make some more Mackerel Onigiri for my lunch yummy...have a good day sweetie
Oh and I meant to say The Phantom is by far my favourite show ...so far xx xxx

Phew sounds stressfull Lo
and still having to wait for confirmation
what's with that ?

fingers crossed for you

enjoy the rest of your Friday

Mn I've not come off the nervous energy high yet! lol

I guess since thousands of people have bought tickets it'll take a while to get all the emails out. I got a web receipt and it's already showing off my c-card balance online so hopefully it's sorted! We've bought tickets for two friends though and I didn't wanna tell them until the receipt came through via email but OH has told them. I'll feel awful if it goes 'baps' up (to use Kally's word for them :D)

Making some food now - think I've burned out the one activia yoghurt I've had so far today... hope the stress doesn't make me retain water for tom'ow

Promise to catch up everywhere later on when I've sobered up from the ticket adrenaline - I know I've missed a couple of WIs the last couple of days
