I was struggling a bit myself (mentally) last week despite the good result!

Keeping up with the challenge weeks seems to be helping me - maybe you could try a couple of them to fire you up for slimming into your fab coat :D

Stick with what you know and get back into the exercise habit for this week though I reckon so you get yourself back into the swing of things after your break x

My new coat has'nt arrived yet! :cry: I need to chase through Simply Be.

It did say it would be in stock in 7 days but I am sure its been longer that 7 days!!

I hope it arrives, as it was the only one I really really liked.

That's so frustrating, I hate it when they do that 'in stock in x number of days' - they always lie!

We'll be too skinny for them soon enough so we won't have to wait for Simply Be to get their backsides in gear and bring us our clothes lol
 
Pumpkin isn't very far off butternut squash really. I went a bit pumpkin mad after a trip to the US during autumn when it appears everywhere over there.

I'll post a few pics once I get making some creations :)

I think the chopped banana works really well with wholemeal toast and jam/peanut butter - I use bonne maman blackcurrant jam. Think I got the idea from some sort of healthy snacks book/site.
 
Been a much better day moodwise than yesterday. Did a 2.5 mile walkabout in my mbts with some food shopping in the middle. Enjoyed a weird mix of slipknot and erasure on my ipod - both put a bit of bounce in my step :D

Also did 30 mins of yoga to keep my backache in check.

Food diary today:

B - stewed rhubarb (0.5 syns), vanilla yoghurt, chopped plum.

L - sweet chilli salmon (4.5 syns), quinoa pilaf, salad.

Afternoon - rice pudding (2.5 syns) & strawberries.

D - (Slimming eats recipe) Honey mustard pork steak (2 syns), roasted potato and carrots & purple cauliflower.

Evening - milky coffee (hexa) & weetabix oaty bar (hexb).

Have put my scales away for the rest of the week - kept peeking all last week and don't think it does my attitude any good.

Lo can I ask a personal question? On your green week were you a bit windy? I'm windy at the best of times but I had a green day today and ive reminded myself of the fat bird from bridesmaids.. Hope it doesn't lead where her wind did! :(

On a nicer note your food looks lovely.. Love the photos, gives me lots of inspiration so thank you :) xxx

They're Masai Barefoot Trainers - those weird shaped shoes that make you walk better, improves posture and makes you use more muscles. They're a bit expensive but I have found they're stopping me dragging my feet along the floor with laziness lol

It wasn't like a slipknot/erasure collaboration or anything lol I was just listening to a live concert album of slipknot then suddenly had an urge to listen to A Little Respect and Always - I'm strange!

I tried putting my scales back in the cellar but I've started going down there now so it's not a secure holding for them anymore lol Just going to have to try self-control :D

Um I'm trying to remember lol I don't think I was more windy than on the other plan days - I think once your body gets used to the food it adjusts. I also read that if you always combine the windy foods (e.g beans, eggs, certain veggies) with non windy things it helps reduce the problem. You could always try something like deflatine if it becomes an uncomfortable problem - not seen Bridesmaids so I dread to think where it lead for her :eek: lol

I do like taking my food pics - handy to remind myself of nice meals if I get stuck further down the road. And if it gives other people meal ideas then that's cool too :)

Hehe it also makes me slightly minded about superfree/portion sizes - don't want to look too greedy and yet I definitely don't eat teeny portions :D
 
well i wont spoil it for you - its an amazing film defo worth watching!

i love the fact about SW that you dont feel hungry.. yesterday I was picky beyond belief and i liked the fact that I couldnt run out of food to eat IYKWIM :)

how many days do you have left on your EE challenge? will you be doing a red one next? x
 
Yep red is the plan next - I get my wages this thursday and will be starting the new week on saturday so I'll have the funds for meat and fish then lol.

I've found myself feeling 'hungry' today - I like the EE meals but think I prefer to have the two lots of a's and b's on green/red. Missing my after-school walking snack of toast and toppings :(

I'll keep an eye out for the movie in blockbusters :)
 
i have to say, i didnt miss the extra HA and HB when I started on EE, but now I am on green days I am quite enjoying them! I am missing meat though.. gotta get some quorn /tofu etc into my system!! :p

good point buying meat after payday.. ive never thought doing green weeks would be cheaper later in the month.. thanks :D
 
I didn't get round to tofu though I've still got some in the fridge I'll try and use up sometime this week. I reckon I probably would do a green week towards the end of the pay month now aye - crafty use of the plan heehee.

Those couscous and cannelini burgers I made were quite filling as a meat substitute, there's another beanburger recipe in the latest mag too I think which looked quite nice. And the lentil loaf thing - think that's the key get some sort of green-friendly protein then you're set :)
 
i forgot to ask.. any chance you could share the lentil loaf recipe please? :) xx
 
dont reinvent the wheel - thats my motto :p cheers hun :) think i might try it for tea tomorrow if im not eating leftovers! x
