Loopeylou's EE Food Diary

reading your diary makes me understand better what's allowed and what's not allowed :) it looks like most of the food you eat are FREE!
(I'm sticking to EE for now... Red / Green is way too complex for a newbie!)

Oh Lou, you are doing so well with all the exercise...:)

But I have a suspicion that the rash means you're allergic to the gym...Just kidding but that's my dream, it would be a fab excuse ;)

Hope it all clears up :)

Hey chickpea, good luck for tonight!! Are you interested in joining my 'Kool 4 Skool' 8lb in 8 week challenge? Starts Sunday and finishes week ending Sat 11th Sept (hence the theme!!) It's just a bit of fun to keep us focused!! Although I failed miserably on Ellebear's 8 week world cup one!! Laughable really!! But determined to do this as I have a holiday in Spain on Sept 23rd I would love to lose at least 10lb or maybe a stone for!!XXX See link below!

0.5lb gain!!!....not a happy bunny, have posted on main board expressing just how ****ed I am
I would join the challenge but next week is my last weigh in until 18/8 as were going away to France on 27/7 for nearly 3 weeks.
Really looking forward to hols but was so hoping to have lost at least 6 before I went but over the last 2 weeks I'm 0.5lb up:(
My C wasn't alot of help tonight....felt hurried and like I wasn't telling her the truth about my food this week!!! argh
So sad:cry:

Gutted for you Claire, but think back to your first 4 months on SW and your huge losses there. You might not achieve 6.5lbs this week but it certainly isn't out of reach. Set yourself a reasonable target, remember plenty of water and maybe look at changing your HeX's?

Good luck!

Just wanted to pop in and say not to give up and you are doing brilliantly with the gym workouts! Sometimes it takes time for our body to play catch up with us, so fingers crossed for a loss next week! Drink as much as you can too :)

Don't feel disheartened Claire - even though you've had that tiny gain just think about the amazing things you are doing for your body - all that excersise and good healthy food are doing you a world of good.
Like the others have said, you're body will catch up and you'll have a huge loss when you're least expecting it x

Hun pleeeease don't panic!! This has happened to me on several occasions now, when I've been angelic on plan AND done over 20 miles of walking that particular week, including big hills and everything! And you see people saying on here that exercise gives them huge losses etc etc!! All I can say is be patient, it normally shows the following week I find! Don't let it put you off the exercise! I bet you are losing inches so although it's hard when you're focusing on the numbers (like I do!!) try and focus on how you feel in yourself healthwise!! Bet you feel energised and fab, and how your clothes feel on you!! And along the line you WILL be rewarded!! About 5 years ago I was going to Weight Watchers and my friend and I were on a bit of an exercise kick!! We were training for a big bike ride and I was finding that the weeks I'd done lots of cycling I STS or gained and in the end I got fed up and after the bike ride we gave up completely!! Not only did the weight pile back on but we stopped cycling altogether and lost the benefits of exercise, just because we were so focused on the blinkin number on the scales!! Looking back I realise how silly we both were to throw it all away and not see the bigger picture!! So I do know exactly how you feel hun as I'm sure lots of people here do!! Just be patient and I bet you next week you'll have a goodun!!XXX

Thank you everyone for your wonderful comments.....feeling much better this evening.
I had another tough session at the gym but also had a good chat with my personal trainer who has made me feel so much better :)
Onwards and downwards I say....the benefits to me with the exercise at the moment far outweighs the results on the scales....prob wont say that next week if I dont see a loss though lol.
I'm able to push myself so much more that when I started 2 weeks ago and so so proud of what I'm doing, as are my wonderful hubbie and son, my son keeps telling me he thinks I'm amazing :D

As for my son, he's now lost 1 stone 2.5lb and BMI is 23.4...he's shot up too and is so different than 6 months ago when heis BMI was 29!!...so proud of him but he keeps telling me it was me who helped him achieve it, bless him :)
xx

Hi Claire - I can imagine how disappointed you were but like the others you've probably lost the inches, have you noticed your body tightening up? or clothes looser this week? my flipflops have got to big for me - I didn't know you could lose weight on your feet lol!

Clothes fitting much better and I've also found myself standing better if that makes sense....well thats when I'm not bent over in agony cause my thighs burn lol
Strange you should say about feet but I've gone from a 7 to 6.....not only have I had the cost of new clothes but new shoes too
Thanks for your comments
xx

My losses slowed a lot when I went all out with the exercise. Now I've slowed down a bit, but still doing plenty of walking, it's sped up a bit. Maybe your poor body just needs to get used to all this activity and the losses will increase again.
Sounds like you're doing amazingly well! :D
My feet have shrunk too, lol!x

Thank god I'm not alone in the "shrunken feet" gang! I can't wait to be able to wear nice shoes again (my feet were so badly swollen when I was pregnant last year I have forgotten what girlie shoes feel like have lived in trainers and my faithful black flipflops!)

Wish I had time to join a gym, and Claire yes yes yes please may I have your jambayla recipe x

Hey Hun.

Left a message on the main forum about exercise and you gain...I hope it makes sense!
Keep at it and even if you dont reach the goal that you have set for holidays (you lucky thing you!), just think about how more toned you are going to be!

xxx

Claire, I agree with the other ladies, you may not be loosing weight but you will be losing inches and toning up. It may take your body a little while to catch up but you will start seeing the benefits again soon.

Hope you enjoy your holidays :D
