Have got food planned for tomorrow just hope I can stick with it, was so good today until 9pm when gave in to sugar cravings uhmmmmph!!!!

Will try better tomorrow!

Hey hunny thanks for visiting my diary despite being so up to your neck in things at the moment!! Well done on your loss last week- I'm still catching up having hardly been on Minis over the weekend! Hope the funeral arrangements are going OK and all the very best for it- always tough and always good when they're over and done with although of course support is still much needed afterwards as that's when the real grieving process starts! Thinking of you and hope the migraine is well and truly gone- I expect it's all the stress!!XXX

Thank you both :), had a better day food wise but really tough one at work and didn't get home til 7!!
Hubbie suggested I get chips on way home but said no and we had SW chips, eggs and mushy peas....good SW day. Thurs won't be tracked as its the funeral but have tomorrow and then fri-thur til next weigh in to undo any damage I've caused.
Won't beat myself up, it's a tough time and just need to be less hard on myself I think.
Why is junk food such comfort when it makes us feel poop.... It bloats me, headaches and sluggish but it's so quick and yummy argh!!

All SW foods prepped for tomorrow so time for bed now :) x

My head really needs to get into the zone and stay there!!
Granddads funeral was such a fantastic tribute to him but huge family stuff has rocked our world....typical families!!!!!

Gave tried getting back on track but only managed one full day in a whole week ***sob***

This morning I made magic pancakes - yum and lamb in slow cooker. I will make some soups later and try to get some focus and planning for the week ahead.
Dreading weigh in on thurs but just got to face it and move on. Boy I hope 2012 gets better as its been really poop so far.

Hubbie also may have permanently lost hearing in his right ear. He lost it after a cold last Nov!!! Multiple trips to docs, several different drops and nasal sprays etc as they thought it was linked to congestion but he saw consultant last week and could be a chance it affected his middle ear and may be perm!!
He's got to have a full hearing test to determine as the lady was off sick last week so were just praying it's the middle ear only!!

Rant over for now lol x

Hey Claire, just catching up on your diary!! Sorry to hear about the stressful family stuff- don't you just lovem?!! Sounds like you've got lots to deal with at the moment but you come across as a very strong person and I'm sure you're dealing with it just great, but unfortunately stress comes out in so many ways- no wonder your skin is suffering- Dai has terrible eczema especially on his hands and when he's stressed out he scratches them to pieces until they're red raw!! It's also very easy and tempting to turn to comfort food like the junk food you mention! As you say it makes us feel bad and bloated afterwards but at the time seems like just the ticket!! You're doing the right thing by cooking lots, such as the casserole- after all comfort food can also be healthy stuff!! Nice warming casseroles, and I find things like sausages and mash can be great if the low fat versions!! Or egg and SW chips with mushy peas...Mmmmmm!!!!X

After my tough couple of weeks I'm happy to report just a 1 lb gain. Although gains are not great I'm happy that I managed to get back on track and minimise damage :)
