1 of my grandchildren is exactly the same, then after 1/2hr is grotty because she's tired but won't go back to bed! She's usually asking to cook or do craft at 6am when she's here

Takeaway is such a pain. Best I've found so far is a chicken kebab (no pitta and no chips). You could push the boat out and treat yourself to garlic mayonnaise.
There are low carb curry recipes online, and also fried chicken coasted in flax seed is a possible alternative. I love cauliflower pizza - basically cheese, an egg, and cauliflower mixed together and baked to form a base. Watch carbs in any tomato based sauced, but other than that you can then add what you want.
