Hi all... yesterdays travel & work went fine Dis, met some really fab kids.

Glad it went well.

You are doing really well and sound positive and upbeat.
Morrison's cafe - all the more disappointing when you had waited so long for it and then it was such a let down. You showed great control not buying something else high cal.

I have found Morrison's staff great. I like lemon and hot water and they'll never let me pay for it! The sandwiches are ok, I leave the crisps which come in a little packet and they also sell Eccles cakes my downfall on rare occasions.

Because of my job, I often visit the same supermarket in a week (loos and hot drinks) and now I have staff greeting me like a long lost friend all over the West & North Midlands, Herefordshire and Shropshire. There's a particularly nice woman in the Co-op cafe in Lichfield! I'm usually very good though and have a black coffee, or lovely lemon and hot water in Morrison's.
I wouldn't have said anything either though if the food had been horrid! Perhaps she was feeling PMTish!!

And Greeneyes, I asked Katy too about her job, she spun me some story about what she reckons she does....it's all a front, spies do that you know, to keep their cover!

That is so like me Bess - I often go to the same cafe's to interview people and the ones at Morrisons have got to know me quite well.

I am VERY curious now about your job Katy...although perhaps it's not a good idea to get rid of the illusion that we have an international spy in our midst. Makes life a little more exciting by association!!!

It doesn't matter what Katy tells you Liz, or what excuses she makes, is a spy! Do you remember her tale of getting a ride in a van and travelling through forest tracks to get to a (spy) meeting? Anything else is just a front, I'm sure of it. She says she's off to China - yeah, well, only to spy on their poor internet access. Do you remember that they won't allow Google to be fully operational there? Now do you see why she's going? M16 asked her to take a look.....covert operations, they always use the most unlikely individuals, who'd suspect a mother with a passion for cake?

Umm...interviewing people? In the cafe's? What do you do then Liz?

Morrisons... the perfect cover! Bad news about google in China, didn't know that... means I won't be able to get emails properly while away, yikes.

I don't dislike Morrisons as such, it's just this particular one, the cafe is not good. Their speciality is serving up food with bits of greaseproof paper cooked INto it... twice... and the staff are not happy except for one old guy who sings and whistles which makes me smile. I suppose I need to wise up & stop trying to eat there, but it's close to where I park. Not really a good reason I guess.

Gonna slope off to bed, lots of spying to do in the morning...

Katy, l know who you mean. I think some of the other staff don't get on with him, maybe because he's too cheerful. LOL

When you mentioned the baked potato earlier l had visions of it bouncing off the plate along with the beans when the member of staff thumped it down.

Trying to get packed, tie up loose ends work-wise, etc... arghhh. Hot choc to start the day (my new comfort brekky) and rest of day just good food... even staying off the scales. TOTM just started so probably wouldn't be a true reflection anyway.

Will hopefully call in later, but if not, don't panic if I go quiet... off on my 'spy mission' to China tomorrow.
