Quick hello from beautiful Beijing... so far so good! Food wise and also otherwise... was allowed to bring my CD bars in (3 of them for emergencies) and one came in very useful this morning as I had such an early start there was no time for hotel breakfast. Thanks all for the good wishes, free wi-fi in hotel so may be able to check in again!

So far so good re: mission! Today was my day off, & walked for miles along the Great Wall... WOW!!!!!! This place is amazing. I didn't realise i'd love it so much!

Food choices still OK, did succumb to half a cheesecake today but hopefully had walked it off in advance!!!

Hope everyone is good, haven't time to read diaries, about to crash out as early start tomorrow.
