Lou's Diary - onwards and inwards!

Oooh, you big tease you!!! Come back soon and tell us all about it ;) xxx

Hehe - back as promised.... was a lovely date, he text saying he was nervous etc, so agreed he'd pick me up and we'd drive to a quieter country pub, only problem is that the pub was dead!! We sat on the sofas and chatted away, I did most of the talking as he was shy at first... but I'm not sure if he's shy or not interested?

When he dropped me off I gave him a hug (awkward car hug), hate the end of first dates as the is the whole kiss or not kiss, I'm all for kiss on cheek and a hug, but have had some boys go for a full on kiss but then get confronted with my cheek.... arrgh, the joys of dating!

Oh also - remember C (think back 6 weeks ago) well he keeps emailing me at work, has been talking about his new girlfriend etc, I asked him today how long they'd been together as met each others family etc... he said 6 weeks - HELLO OVER LAP!!! Grrrgh to boys.

Only 4 sleeps left in my house!! xxx

Oh Lou, those photos show such a difference! Your face has totally changed, there is so much more definition now and I love the cheekbones when you smile! You're giving me a shot of motivation to have some photos like that of my own :)

Oh Lord, I hate dates!! I hate all the nervous awkwardness especially if you're sober!! I think it takes a 2nd or 3rd date sometimes before you can really tell whether you will click especially if one or both of you is really shy to begin with.

I am soooo shy when it comes to dates - it was different with bf because we said from the beginning we were completely incompatible and were both only in it for the fun stuff;) There was no need to be shy because I really wasn't worried abut impressing him... Look how that worked out lol :D

Sooo exciting you are moving soon, will be sad to say goodbye to your old place?

I have moved so many times - I think 10 times in 10 years, so I've never got really attached to a place... I'm sure I will when I can ever afford to buy a place and do it all up my way!

xxx

Hi everyone, aww Mav thats dead sweet about you and your other half, how long have you been together now? You've given me hope that I may meet a none loser one day!! (Monday nights date text me on Tuesday night saying he's moving to York - I replied back saying that I'm an adult and can take the truth and he doesn't need to invent that he is moving half way across the country as quite frankly I didn't really want to see him again anyway). Think I'm giving up on boys for a while now, as just see the same losers on plenty of fish so will give it a few months for some nicer boys to join.

So - moving house TOMORROW, have managed to get the garage keys so have taken 5 car loads of stuff over already, just got the big heavy furniture to go now. Am shattered though... also, food wise, have left out a plate, knife, fork, cup and bowl so I could cook chickpea dahl and rustic oven chips for tonights tea..... only I've packed and moved the blooming tin opener up to my new house!!!!!

Thursday - green
B: 42g allbran (B)
L: H/M tomato soup and bread (B)

We've been together since March last year and were arguing within 15 minutes!!! Wuldn't change him for the world tho ;) And you will find a non loser one day, probably when you least expect it :D

Good luck with the rest of the move, hope it doesn't knacker you too much xxx

Don't give up on men Louise, I didn't meet my husband until I hit 40 and wasn't interested in marrying anyone until I met him. x

Hi everyone...... I survived the move on Friday, not sure how though, was most stressful day of my life, broke all my finger nails, covered in cuts and bruises and was p*ss wet through (even to my pants). It was pouring with rain the majority of the day, plus I didn't get professionals in.. I roped in my Mum, Dad, Brother and a horsebox type thing, arrghh... makes me shudder just thinking about that day again.

Brighter news... I love the house but have a LOT of work to do on it, the last people seem to have nailed loads of nails etc into the wall so they all need filling and sanding etc, will keep me busy for months, am also trying to think of colour schemes etc but am so fickle and keep changing my mind, think I'll just leave it and do it all room by room.

Food wise.... well... from what I can remember...

Glad your move went ok, albeit a bit stressful. Just think of all that Body Magic while you were hefting everything around, plus more to come with all the decorating etc! Whenever I decorate it feels like I've done an almighty work-out. I reckon it must burn loads of calories!

Enjoy your new place :)

Lou your description of moving day is the exact reason I hate it so much - there is nothing more stressful!! Glad it's over for you now, and there is no rush for you to get everything done, as long as you have a bed and an oven, the rest can wait!!!!

xx

It definitely wasn't the best weekend for moving -the weather was rubbish and I'm not surprised you were soaked!
Enjoy the new house :)
We've been in our house for over two years now and there's still pictures propped up against walls where I plan on hanging them at some point! I can't bring myself to make the holes in the walls (previous owner was a plasterer so all the walls were immaculate when we moved in!!)
I am sure you burned off the curry with all the lifting and carrying :)
