LRO...name needs to change, I think ;(

Thats a good price, i paid full price for mine boo hoo!! Not that I am doing my DVDs at the moment!! It is a good one though

Hi Rosie,
How are you doing? I hope your still enjoying you step dvd x

Hope you've had a good day. Might go check out that DVD too. x x

Morning. Not such a sunny day here in Staffordshire - but hopefully later the sun will come out to play

Not much to report really. Did the Ministry of Sound DVD last night for a change - 392 calories - so almost exactly the same as the Steps one but not so enjoyable - a bit too much jumping for my liking - made me more red and sweaty though.

Had my lovely porridge this morning - yummmmmmm

Hi Rosie

398 cals on a DVD ... wow! I did 216 on Wii last week and I've only just recovered lol

Hope you had a great day

Twigs
xx

What Steps DVD is it? Can't find it on Amazon I don't think :(

xx

Its called the 5 Step Fat Attack with Claire Richardson

Amazon.co.uk: five step fat attack

Did the Davina Super Pump tonight. It's more about toning than fat and calorie burning as only burned 152 calories - so made it up to the 400 on the treadmill

I am getting more toned certainly - but also heavier - even though I am sticking to the right number of points. Not too bothered at this stage, but just think its a bit odd

Wow all them burned calories! have you noticed your shape changing? I wouldn't worry about weighing more as muscle weighs more anyway. Go by how your clothes fit. Gloomy weather here today :O(
Hope you have a good thursday xx

I need to stop buying that sugary cardboard that goes under the name of pink n whites....just eaten 4...

I know that they are 1.5 for 2, but counting them as single items as they are only 0.5 when you count them like that!!!

I will be having sugar overdose if I'm not careful

I am surprised you are not bouncing off the walls with all that sugar :):)
I have a friend who buys them but has banned her children from having them - apparently they are HERS :):) personally I dont like them and am quite pleased I dont - I think I could easily over eat them

Thanks for the rep Rosie much appreciated.

BUT time to stop this honey, pink and whites are the devils work and not to be had by excellent maintainers. Focus focus focus, you have a medical student (hopefully) to support and need to be fit and healthy to carry on working until you're 80 to finance him!!!! Sorry got to be cruel to be kind here you know I can't have my stalker slipping.

Take care

M

The pink and whites pale into insignificance compared to the nando's lunch and the panda chinese tea last night.....ho hum - monday is another day to be strict.

Will be exercising tomorrow....she says hopefully ;)

And M, the med student will need to work to fund his way through - I dont have deep enough pockets - assuming he gets in that is!

Well do you know what (and proud parents everywhere will slate me for this) so he should work. Brother didn't but owing to something we won't go into here I did and I have funded all my postgrad degrees myself and by god do I appreciate it all the more. Plus it enhanced my skills no end, I can pull a mean pint, wait tables, cook breakfast in a transport cafe...you name it I did it. Off my soapbox now and supporting your return to being strict all the way and of course here to catch you anytime you have a minor fall off the wagon.

Glad you had a good time

M

To be honest, my parents are funding most :)eek:) of my uni stuff, but I'll still get a part time job while I'm there. Mostly so I have more booze money ;)

xx

I'm a parent who has very long pockets and extremely short arms!:D

:copon:I've had to work for everything I have - so can they!

So Rosie... show us... how exactly would you be strict

Pretend Im the med student to be :rotflmao:

That was just so funny - sorry folks - it related to something when we met up which was also very funny but wouldn't translate very well - suffice to say, it involved Jen :D

And quite right too. A bit of work didn't kill anyone. Both my boys have jobs just now and they really enjoy having their own money over which neither me or their dad has any control or say in how its spent - a bit of independence really.

Well, you could always knock the booze on the head and offer to pay some of it yourself - now there's radical!

I know that in "my day" we got grants and all that - but most of the students on my course (and there were 80 of us) had part time jobs. It just doesn't seem to be the done thing anymore - work shy students :p;)
