LT Diary Charlotte

Day 67 - Saturday 10th September 2016
100% today (and yesterday, I didn't write on here last night). Feeling so motivated and happy :D and I'm losing around the same as I was the first time I did LT. My Mum seems proud of me, and when she tells people about what I'm doing they seemed very impressed that I've managed to not eat for 9+ weeks. My Dad keeps making comments though, saying that I'm just going to put it all back on, he doesn't believe in me whatsoever and just keeps bugging me to "get a real job" (I'm self-employed). Great!

Just ordered this dress to wear to the funeral in a size 12:eek:, I hope it fits and doesn't show off my wobbly bits! At least I won't have to wear tights with it!

Brilliant!! Although condolences re the circumstances.

Re your earlier post - ignore your dad, I'm self employed too and whatever you are doing, if it is paying the bills, it's a real bloody job!

It's hard when those close don't seem to outwardly support you - all I get from my parents at times is either "you've put some timber on, you could do with shifting it" or when I have shifted it a very sort of non committal "hmm, very good".

To have kept this diet up for nearly 10wks is nothing short of amazing! You keep it up and get to where YOU want to be, not where anyone else thinks or wants.

Good luck ;)

Thank you. My Dad is always being negative about everything and everyone, drives me crazy! I struggle to pay my way and I should probably look for a full or part-time job somewhere but it's hard when you're fat and depressed haha.

My Dad will moan that I'm getting fat, tell my Mum that I'm getting "huge" and "disgusting" but then go "oh not this again" when I start a diet. Can't win!

Good luck

Day 68 - Sunday 11th September 2016
Another 100% day. Hoping for a loss tomorrow as I've only lost 1¼ pounds so far and weigh-in is 3 days away! Dress should be here tomorrow, I think it will look horrific but I'll post a photo (maybe) and you lot can help me decide. I've had 6 pints of water so far which is more than enough! So far I'm not really on track to meet my first target of 11 stone by halloween (I've lost 55% of the weight in 57% of the time) but we'll see. :)

¾ lb lost today (12 : 10¼)!

My slider in my signature is way off-balance now and is creeping up to my goal :D

Hey, you're doing so well. I have the same issues, the people who make the snide remarks about all the terrible things that obesity brings, together with the useless 'tips', when you actually lose weight, the first thing is,'Oh we've seen it before, yoyo dieting you'll put it all back on plus some'. Very helpful indeed.

I'm sure with all this weight loss you're self confidence and motivation will be sky-high and you'll do so well in your business.

Hi, thank you. Isn't it your first weigh-in today? I'm fed up with all those comments, someone online asked for diet advice and I recommended this and I got a ton of comments from people who've probably never even tried it or even heard of it telling me it's "unhealthy", "the weight just goes straight back on", "it's not good for you" etc.

I will admit I did put all the weight back on the first time I did Lipotrim, plus a stone, but that's because I wasn't ready to make lifestyle choices but this time I am.

I'm trying to do well in my business but I'm a graphic and web designer, people tend to go to the big expensive companies rather than cheaper freelancers like myself, even though I provide a better quality of work at a cheaper rate.

Yes it's my first weigh in, thanks.

I did LT some years back and lost 18 kg, but put most back in 6 months for the same reason as you, I just came off and went back to eating 'normally' - my metabolism was messed up and I was out of control in now time. I hope to be so focused but I'm also aware and afraid of the danger that lies ahead.

Have you tried the 'People Per Hour' website. I've used it for various jobs that I need a freelance one off job doing. Check it out.

Let me know how you get on! I'm sure we'll be just fine now that we know what not to do and we don't want to be doing this for a third time! I'm scared too though.

Thank you I'll check it out!

Well my size 12 midi dress arrived. It's going to have to go back anyway because the material is too thin and see-through, but what do you think? Think i'll need to wear my sucky-in pants to hide that little kangaroo pouch of mine!
I didn't realise how small my waist was compared to the rest of me

@deflating just saw your updated signature, well done on your 9lb loss that's amazing! :D

Day 69 - Monday 12th September 2016
100% again, drank around 2.5 litres of water. Found a black slip to wear with that dress so it's not see-through anymore and my mum and boyfriend said it looks lovely so I'll be wearing that on Friday, still dreading the journey though. I really don't think I look 13 stone at all, but maybe that's just me.

Hoping for another loss tomorrow, even if it's just a quarter of a pound, as I've only lost 2 pounds so far since last Wednesday. But at least it's better than those horrible plateaus!
