Evening all. I have had a funny old week this week. I had a 4lbs loss on Monday, but by Wednesday it was back on; the only bad thing I had eaten was a couple of squares of sugar free chocolate - I figured I deserved it! (the chocolate that is, not the fluctuation!)
I am blaming it on 'transit issues', because I have had several 'transit moments' today and it seems to have come off again (4lbs worth of 'transit'!!??) My tummy is playing up so I have taken my painkillers and gone to bed with my laptop. (Boy I am lazy!!) One question - the painkillers melt under the tongue, so why don't they taste very nice?
I have a few things planned for this weekend. I want to make some sugar free rhubarb jam and also some sugar free chilli jam. I also need to make some christmas puddings and the christmas cake. In addition to that I have DS and OH birthdays before Christmas, so need to get things sorted for those.
Nothing happening in the evenings though so it will just be Strictly and X factor for me tomorrow.
I am not letting this fluctuation lark get to me and I am just carrying on - otherwise I would be saying 'sod it' and pigging out in some way. Now I know that is just an excuse and I need to persevere regardless of any little blips.
People are definitely starting to notice now; several people have told me that I'm looking really good this week; I am taking this as a euphemism for 'you have lost weight' - and they are just trying to be polite.
