Lovely to read such an informative diary!

Morning everyone:D Had a really busy day out at a client's and only just got home. Am waiting for Mr Tesco to bring my delivery; I hope he hasn't forgotten me, or the others didn't ignore the door bell before I got home:sigh:

I STS last week - ho hum. Never mind - hopefully a better week next week in my quest to not be obese for Christmas:D

I am going to pick my first sprouts from the garden this week just to test them for christmas in case I need to buy some! They are meant to be extra sweet this year because of the early frosts.

Mr Amazon has delivered me two new cookery books today - a slow cooker one and another with cakes with varios vegetables in them. I will post any suitable recipes I find although I suspect there won't be any in the cake book:D although it may give me some new ideas for getting veg into my Son.

oh if you find some good veg hiding ones pass them on all mine could do with it

lol none of mine will eat curries stews cottage pie or pasta ....wonderful kids i have !!!

What do they eat then scrumps?

Mouse - I envy you homegrown sprouts. We tried last year... lots of "clumps"(?) of sprouts appeared, little tight balls... we were excited and promised neighbours some cos it looked as if we had enough to feed an army for the year.

But, as they grew larger, they opened up and turned into errr little empty cabbages (only explanation I can think of at this early hour).

We donated them to our farmer neighbour for his animals...

Gosh how kind! (I'd take you up on it if we were coming to Bournemouth as we sometimes do in the summer!!).

alreet hon cant complain just been given bottle of vodka and got 6 bottles of wine delivered ;)
