awww i hope you two have a wonderful time when you meet. dare i ask if you are meeting for food?

Noooooo don't mention the 'F' word!! Just copious amounts of caffeine!

mmm best way cafine !!!!

its the ice here thats a
nightmare so dangerous to drive on ...
The kids are loving this ive just had to make a banana loaf for tea as there is no bread and the bananas need using cue happy kids
the milks rationed but im not breaking into the xmas pop
My friend just text to say shes snowed in in mid devon has no milk so is drinking baileys coffee !!!!

We are so lucky being opposite the little village shop; it means I can make custard and rice pudding and not worry about the milk situation - just send my youngest over the road for more milk! They actually have some pretty good offers over there - although I have been trying to ignore the half price christmas chocolates!! I actually made bread by hand on Saturday - just because I had the flour and yeast!

omg look at you nigella ;)
and baileys in coffee oh what a hardship LOL!

Nigella/Kim, take your pick. It makes me chuckle to myself when the press call poor Nigella fat, because compared to where I have come from/am, she is pretty damned svelte, especially if she really does eat all that lovely food!

Mmm Baileys in coffee - not sure Tan's kids would want it on their cereal though :D

I'm a huge fan of Nigella too - brought a batch of her chocolate pistachio fudge into the office today, i've been assured that it's delicious but i haven't touched any - how strong am i!!

lmao i have to fight the 10yr old for the baileys triffle ...oh god im a bad mum my kids are alkys ,,, can i just blame it on the snow like everyone else:D

My vote goes for Nigella too... in fact, I received an email the other day with a photo of Gilian McKeith (advocating healthy eating and exercise) and Nigella Lawson (yummy buttery creamy recipes) - just one year younger but boy a good 10 years younger in the face! Which would you sooner look like?!

I would LOVE to look like Nigella, and to able to get away with eating like she does!!!! I'm sure I read somewhere that she attributes her shape to pilates - well I have beeen going to pilates classes for a few years and it hasn't had that affect on me :)

I got that email too Jo - made me laugh. You won't have seen I'm a celebrity get me out of here I don't think, but Gillian McKeith was on that and was a bit of a train wreck through it.

Long live Nigella I say - perhaps she does eat all that lovely food she makes, but just tiny portions of it, or maybe she has a ridiculous metabolism... either way, what a legend!

I do love nigella and her complete disregard for calories, just wish she didn't have to wear so much slap.

Enjoying reading your "diary", didn't realise there was that much snow in devon.

Hi Mouse and co!

Mmm did someone mention fudge;)

Hope your doing well and the snow eases a little.

Bren

Hiya Bren!! Another day working from home in the snow for me!

Now fudge is something that doesn't really do anything for me - I find it too sweet.

Back on the Nigella tract, I really do like the idea of being some kind of domestic goddess, but I think I need to be good at housework for that:D
