Also I'm not sure but if it's totm your body holds on to water right? So wouldn't that be in fat and muscle?
 
I don't know. Probably. Will increase my protein gor muscle repair, continue with 1 fast day and see next week after totm. I swear I could cry. I don't mind the gain because its between maintenance I don't wanna see 2.5lbs fat gained. My body fat is classed as overweight again at 27.6% with my bmi 22.6 :( how can I do all this exercise since August, be a healthy weight but still have so much fat!
 
No honey. Your muscles are swollen from all the intense exercise. It's not 'real' fat. One thing I'd strongly recommend considering is to stop weighing yourself completely and start measuring while you're doing insanity. You'll be gaining a lot of muscle in the next 90 days. You'll get results but more with measuring tape rather than on scales.

Carrie I completely understand your disappointment especially after your hard work and commitment. However, I agree with Slim & Happy to ditch the weekly weighs and measure with tape. However if you can't completely ditch the scales remember they will not be entirely accurate as to body fat. You'd need to go to specialist health place to get uber scales to assess body fat.

The food and amount of calories and exercise you are doing are spot on and the scales have not calculated body fat correctly. Keep doing what your are doing and you will see and feel a difference. You are looking amazing and don't forget that. Focus on fitness and fuelling your body as you are. X
 
Going to carry on as I have been but try to eat more meat. As this was my first weigh in on those scales in 4 weeks, and I've just started insanity plus totm arrived... I'm not going to make in big decisions lol. It's gonna take longer than 4 days to change body fat lol and of course ill have gained fat after Xmas and new year feeling better xxx
 
Glad you are feeling better about the number on the scale but I do understand you must have been so upset. But 4 weeks of not weighing Christmas and New Year in-between - you've done great. Moreover you are doing great and looking great to boot. x
 
Thanks so much, I feel more positive this morning :) 1328kcals yesterday :) day 5/63 insanity complete and banana in toast for breakfast with 2 black coffees. Tummy is so swollen with totm i look pregnant! :( xxx

Glad you are feeling more positive. It is not an understatement to say maintenance is harder than a diet in some respects. You will strike a balance. I suspect the number in the scale the other was not quite accurate due to TOTM and given you are bloated today I think it explains it.
 
Small baked potato ( oven baked ) 3 sprays fry light, black pepper, 25g grated cheddar, 1/4 tin tuna with 30g light mayonnaise, 50g penne pasta, roasted cherry tomatoes. I also had half a slice of garlic bread xxx

That's great sign and it means the bloating is subsiding and on your next weigh it you should get more of an accurate weigh in. Of course you don't have to weigh at all and just use clothes that fit nicely as a measure? Not that I am ready to ditch the scales yet!
 
I've never felt my clothes tight in about 2 months :) also a good sign? I think this is the longest I've ever hovered around my goal weight. Hopefully this is it now :) xxx
 
That's great amount calories and will mean you'll continue to lose. Be careful as your training heavily with insanity you may need more cals? Guess you can adjust it depending how you feel. X
 
I'm defo not hungry in the slightest and I don't want to raise them too high as I need to find my maintenance :) method to my madness :) xxx
 
Reading online about possible weight gain on insanity... Yep! Same as every other exercise regime ( while your muscles are adapting and repairing they fill with water and swell hence why we feel stiff and sore ) I'm hoping on thurs we see a fat drop lol really would love to be around 20% but I may never get there. I just want to be the best me I can xxx
 
Day 6/63 insanity complete :) cardio plyometric circuit again today and with it being rest day tomorrow I'm soooo pleased to say week 1 is complete! Have had half a banana on toast ( was a large banana so will have rest at lunch ) and 1 custard cream. I don't know why? :0 lol naughty xxx

Well done on your first week of insanity done!! Glad you're feeling better as well. As has been already said, the bloating from totm will affect the scales reading, so hopefully next weeks weigh in will give a more accurate result.
