Just outside Macclesfield, how about you?
I'm in Altrincham so not too far at all!
Just starting this week. Excited and a bit nervous about my first ever class. When I did SW before I just did it myself with my colleague's old stuff. Even the thought of going to the class has made me look more closely at what I eat though.
-2.5lbs, 6.5 total. Got to go for that half stone this week! Xx
That's deffo the plan! I want that shiny next week! xx
Kitkats are my lifesaver!!!!!
Hey MB
You are doing great, and your food always sounds yummy.
Do you do the cooking in your house? My problem is brekkie and lunch are easy to be good, but bf does most of the cooking of an evening, and altho he really tries, his food is never as sw friendly/healthy as I'd like!! And he's not keen on my overtly sw meals... Where is the happy medium???!!!
xxx
Thanks Lo, I do browse minis a lot, but unfortunately my bf isn't really keen on most of my Sw attempts! We have the hairy dieters book and most things we've made from it are a hit. Tbh I blame him, but a lot of it is down to me. Portion size used to be big thing but I am cutting down. Bread and carbs are my downfall! x

I made a Hairy Bikers Chicken Casserole with Cobbler meal tonight for tea & made it sw friendly, the recipe is on the Ready Steady Cook thread (in off topic) & it was delicious it was a real hearty, comforting meal. A lot of meals can be made SW friendly it just takes a bit of thinking sometimes, for example my cobbler was just potato but I put it through the ricer & i didn't need to add butter or flour to get it firmed up as it was all nice & firm without. What does you bf like to eat?

Ooh that's a clever adaptation, I must try that! Good excuse for finally buying a potato ricer too, I've been wanting one for ages lol
I love mine, can't stand lumpy mash
Aww Mave!!! Long time no speak, thank you for dropping in!
Yes I love to cook so I do dinner every night, my Hub doesn't mind SW food in fact he welcomes it, he's not overweight really (maybe a stone) but has lost 4lbs the last 2 weeks just eating my dinners. So its not too bad.
I agree with Lo, def get the fakeaways on the go so he doesn't realise he is cooking healthily!!
How are you getting on? xxx
I am terrible at making mash, no patience to keep mashing it until the lumps are out... Bf is very good at it... Must be that strong wrist action!!
