Morning all, WI day today and my arm seems to have fixed itself after 2 rest days of no shredding! Weighed in at home this morning and STS, so possibly looking at a small gain later on :eek:(

I have been so well behaved on plan as well, I can only think that all the exercise is building muscle as they say... but STS last week and this week is a bit rubbish... I keep telling myself to think of the 2 inches I've lost though and stay focused on that...

stay positive - you have done FAB! and a little plateau whilst your body starts adjusting to the new fitness regime is going to happen.
Inches lost = superb!!! Weight will drop off once its ready!

I'm an IDIOT! Went home at lunchtime and ended up on the scales again... now showing 3lb UP... WTF?!?!?

So now I have an afternoon of trying to wee / praying for magic S and dreading class...

I NEED TO STOP THE SNEAKY PEEKS! xxxxxx
 
I'm quite glad I have no scales near me at work... Altho I did a sneaky weigh this morning and it didn't look too great, will prob have another sneaky look just before I go to wi but not expecting too much, unfortunately (or fortunately, whichever way you look at it) my digestive system is working perfectly well!! xxx
 
Well the results are in... 2lb ON...!

I have been good on plan, done the shred and zumba, and not had a drink since Pancake Day...

RUBBISH!

I came home last night feeling desolate - you know how it is, I've had weeks where I've been terrible and still had a loss somehow, but this week I really felt like I deserved it... so so frustrating.

I know what you mean hun, I had 1lb on last night too and was very disappointed, esp since I've been 100% on plan. I don't even have exercise to use as an excuse!!

Just need to stay motivated and not lose the plot! xx

Thanks Laura, its comforting to know we're in the same boat this week, all we can do is carry on and hope that our bodies reward us eventually for the hard work being 100%!!

What is annoying is I need a flexi syn night this weekend as going out for a friend's birthday, so I feel like I may get STS this week... I just want the scales to budge! I've been considering asking my C for the Fast Forward plan to get me moving if the next 2 weeks don't do anything xxxxxxxx
 
hey babe - sorry to hear about your gain when you have been so good - it just shows that you are upping that exercise and your body is adjusting xxx
 
Well I am back on it 100% and feeling so good after fitting in a size 16 trousers at Asda yesterday!

I haven't worn a 16 in anything for about 10 years!

18 days of Shred left too, I'm in the groove this week so hoping for a 2lb loss... just a curry to navigate on Sunday... gonna skip the naan bread and go for a tomato based dish with boiled rice, should do the trick! xxxxxxxxx
 
good Curry planning honey!!! Are you still in the pound club? i have ruined my good work - but hoping for a super loss this week to recoup the gain!

My weight just seems to be on and off like a yoyo at the moment. I need to keep my focus! x
 
I'm still aiming for the 1lb club, but like you keep slipping!! I've had a good week so far though and as I said on your thread showing 4lb off this morning...

I think maybe I was overdoing it with the exercise... which sounds ridiculous, but 7 sessions of shred, a zumba and 2 exercise bike 10ks and my body was hanging on to everything it could... so I'm going to skip the bike til weekend, only do zumba tonight and not shred, and then one more shred before WI... hopefully I will get a loss!

Hi Mancbird, read somewhere that when muscles are used they become inflamed and hold onto water. Weighing yourself in between weigh-ins can be so damaging (says me!) just an example:- I couldn't sleep Sunday morning about 5am so got up and weighed myself???!!!! (yes I'm slightly obsessed ;-)...well it showed a 2lb gain, I was gutted, anyway I had a banana and a brew and went back to bed. When I got up about 8am, I weighed myself again and the 2lb had gone plus another 0.5lb. I need to stop weighing myself mid weigh in, it's crazy. Whole point to me rambling was keep up the great work and it'll just show all of a sudden :) x

I know, its terrible to weigh in between, but I can't seem to stop! I went on again at lunchtime (I know, I know) and was showing 1lb off for the week, to be fair I'd prob take that... I need to throw my scales in the bin lol xxxxxxxx
 
WI day is here again... I'm sure the weeks are going faster at the minute!

Hopeful for a good loss after another week of hard work, I really need the boost to be honest, after STS and +2 last fortnight despite all the exercise I just want a sign that I am going somewhere!!

Fingers, toes, arms, legs... cross everything, please! I've even managed to avoid my scales for 2 days so I'm going into WI "blind" (or as it should be maybe)....

We will see... ! xxxxxx
