Martha's Diary - seeing it through to the end....

I love weddings!

Yeh with Monday and then last night I'm fine with that so far. Just hope get to 7 by Friday!

lol good on you!! I drink 2 litres before 11 and then I slow right down. Aim for 4/5 litres though. Especially these next two days as it definatley helps your body to be more efficient.

Yea at least you get a good bit of water in before 11 then ur not running to the loo all day I only started my 3 litres at 4pm yesterday so u can imagine the night I had xx
 
Any loss on step 2 Is fantastic! It's not intended to be a loss week it's just meant to tell your body your not starving so that you can start losing good number again.

your next weigh in will be amazing!!! And your going to be in the 16's by holiday x

Hope sooo lol ss for the next 2 weeks with 1 evening off on the 22nd as I'm out for my sisters bday. Il b on plan all day and just having lunch then drinks in the evening.

A fortnight would actually bring my weigh in to 26th June but I'm holding off until the Friday 28th because I know il eat from the weds if that's my final weigh in lol so hoping it will defo be a good loss that day! Xx
 
I'm hoping I will reach goal by Christmas but I'm not sure I will. My birthday at the latest which is the end of January. Il be bk on track soon as I get bk from holiday and 2 planned breaks between then and my birthday of 2 days each but I won't go crazy and will be low carb so that won't set me bk too much hopefully. I still have 6st 3lb to loose so I have to plan for the holiday gain which I know will come off quickly but it's still annoying. Pep talk when I'm bk I think lol in pretty sure you can lose that 3 stone before the end of the year and prob a huge chunk of that before you start your new job! How great will that be?!! :)

Ah what festival are you going to? What acts are playing? Exciting indeed! I'm so pleased for you :) xxx

Well your dedication has been amazing till now so I'm sure when your back you'll be right back in the zone... Still can't believe you've lost six stone.. It's unbelievable :) I think the good thing is that when your away you physically won't be able to eat as much so the temptation won't be there as much! Haha I love those lil pep talks, sometimes they're much needed :)

Yeh I hope so, although my losses have been really bad lately, that massive 10lb loss has really slowed things down but I guess I'm seeing it in the mirror more now.. Ah I don't, just need to persevere really :/ hope so cos it'll give me a bit of boost starting knowing that I'm not the whale of the company! And they're putting on a BBQ to welcome me to the team which I thought was sweet of them.

It's T in the Park, so can't wait, line is really good too! Rihanna, Paloma faith, chase and status Calvin Harris.... So many eeek! Aw thanks hun xxxx

Hi. I am new to the Cambridge diet... day 3! And going strong! I am 25, start weight was 13.9 and im 5'7! Overweight by far!

Me and my bf have just booked an amazing holiday to Mexico for the 15th September. I am looking to lose 3.9 stone in that time. I have 12 weeks to do it - with two weddings where I will be off the plan for the weekend! Think its do-able?

Also- I am drinking 4 litres of water a day - normally during the working day 9-5 - as I don't seem to have the time when I'm home - is that enough water?

I am really concerned about saggy skin - how can this be reduced - my consultant said each person to their own - so hopefully it wont happy to me, but anything I can do to reduce it? I also, haven't been yet since on the plan, but go to a outdoor bootcamp class (circuits, weights, cardio). Will this help?

Sorry for all the questions! Any advice would be great! Thank you!

Hey there I'm sure it is achievable in the time up to your holiday to lose that amount :)

If ur on ss I would take it easy on the exercise front just because you don't want to stunt ur losses either.

4 litres is plenty lol

Unfortunately sagging skin can't be helped much but I don't think you will have a problem with the amount you have to lose. Light exercise will help but don't over do it xxx

Hi girls! This is amazing, bless ur brother, I do think men worry about their weight just as much as us but try not to show it! Good on him and what a boost to you that u have inspired him.

Well done to your sister too! That is mind boggling! I had my 1st weighting last night and have lost 7lbs, I still couldn't believe it until I went home and checked on my own (evil) scales!!

It's such a boost know its working, as I won't see a difference yet. I am going out with friends tonight to nandos, so this is going to be a real test.,,. No more half chicken, chips and corn on the cob!! Going to have 1/4 chicken Brest and salad!

I have also found keeping a dairy is helping me as I take each day at a time. If I look at how much I have up do I think I round give up!

Oh Hun you are going to amaze your family in USA! Also u have such a pretty face and great personalty as this comes across in your blogs so u are even luckier! U can be silm have a rubbish personality and be ugly! Or even worse slim and beautiful but just be a mean person! Also u have a lovely OH so what more proof do u need! Xxx
 
Also on the water frount I found downloaded a water tracker app (if u have that type of phone) has helped me keep on track to drink enough :) I found one for free and it keep a recorded of my intake each day too :) xx

Haha I can't imagine you getting carried away in the slightest and if your ever faced with unresistable temptation out there you know you've got your game head on when you come back :) I just miss eating, not necessarily the stodgy but all lovely salads with grilled chicken, feta cheese and fresh fruit yummy!

Haha well the pep talks are obviously working :)

Haha thanks chick, sometimes I need to be hard on myself to get me in the zone.. It's weird even though people have noticed a remarkable difference, i still feel massive and I still wear some of my massive clothes which I think makes me feel like I'm bigger... Vicious circle ha!

Still trying hang out for my first shake! My weigh ins Friday so going to have pure shakes till then, no bars boo lol

Hey :)

I was told resistance training was a big no no. I've been doing Zumba once a week and gentle swimming, but to be honest my consultant said that a 20 minute walk would be just as effective, anything to get the heart rate up xx
 
Ermmm, okay, my consultant said to carry on if my body is used to the exercise, which it is, but it isnt used to the lack of food! Hehe!

I just hope my weigh in goes well.. gonna have a cheeky little one at home tonight! Fingers crossed ive lost summic!

Also, how do you know you are in Ketosis?

Yea cutting down would be good but if you feel dizzy don't carry on its important to put urself first!!

I think il be ok but it's the thought of the food that makes me feel nervous lol il be posting on here as much as I can which will remind me to stay focused whilst allowing myself a few treats I will be focused on the end game :) thanks gem

Yes even a nice salad! Exactly lol it's a habit of a lifetime but we will get to that place where we are in control and we will do great! I have faith :)

Bigger clothes is my down fall too its a comfort thing lol get some slinky clothes n show off ur new figure girl lol

I know I'd have loved a bar today but staying focused lol we can do this!! :) xxx
 
So weigh in was 3lb off this fortnight. So 2lb to my 6 stone and 4lb until I'm in the 16s yaaay wish it was more for a fortnight a loss but I had a step 2 week in there so I can't complain.

On a brighter note I got ma nails did :p

She wouldn't put extensions on because my own nails were stonger and in good condition lol boo but I loves them :D xxxx

I know! I have planed my meal with my consultant 1/4chicjen breast and mixed leaf salad. Comedian st 157 cals, 5.4g carbs, 2.82g fat. So it's within my 200 cal meal allowance (as I'm on ss+) x if anything I'm abit scared to eat as I feel I may fall off the wagon! Lol xxxx

Ooo I loveeee clothes shopping, treated my self to a pair if red wedges from DP!

I do the dairy in a good old fashioned book as its more if "how do I feel" today type if thing... So pretty boring lol may give doing one in here a go :) x
