Snap...under goal is the plan for me as I am expecting a huge gain for 3 weeks in Mexico all inclusive, get a sweat on thinking about the post holiday weigh in now.xx

Ooooh where are you going in Mexico? When I was still married we did an all inclusive hol in Cancun. I was actually about 6 weeks pregnant with my daughter so only had a small glass of wine with dinner and had to avoid the seafood but it was still amazing.

I was in Mexico two years ago in Tulum. I put on 5lbs in the three weeks we were there, all inclusive and lovely food.

We did a day trip to Tulum, it was gorgeous. Only 5lbs Mere? That's pretty low for an all inclusive holiday I've done cruises the last 2 summers, the first one I was doing SW at that time, and although I didnt diet while I was away, I didnt go completely crazy either, but I did drink and eat what I fancied, and I didnt put on a single lb. Then last year's cruise I think I put on about half a stone in 2 weeks lol.

I am not that good last year I was in Aruba in the Carribean, again a 5 star hotel, all inclusive, for three weeks and gained 8lbs

It's not really that bad over 3 weeks though, but it's hard to not put weight on on holiday

I agree it is very difficult to not gain weight while on holiday because you are relaxed and do not want to be hastled with dieting. That is why I want to get as much under my goal weight as possible as I leave for Canada in about 7 weeks and will be away for three weeks.

I found after my holiday 2 years ago, that I put on 1.5lbs !!!
Im hoping this year's are the same or better
I reckon the exercise and the way your muscles still burn calories after exercise was a big factor in that. We did walk a fair bit too, but equally had lots of beer ! !!

Got an email today saying it was 6 weeks until our holiday very excited as it seems so close now and we booked it ages ago. I have always wanted to visit the Canadian Rockies just can't wait.

I will be doing quite a bit of hiking, wildlife watching, ziplines, whale watching from a wee zodiac, some pony treking and if I am brave enough white water rafting. As well as the usual site seeing. It is going to be a very active holiday.
I have done the beach/poolside type holiday in some lovely places but I get bored after a few days.
