Hi Michelle
I have done night shifts and they are awful, It took me weeks to recover and i never voluntered for them again! I dont know how people do them for years and years.
Try cheese mims just grate some cheese in before adding the egg, its not the same as a scone but toasted with butter on there not bad. xx
Thanks i will try cheese Mims - went to Tesco today they didn't have any Flaxmeal so was disappointed I couldn't make some today - will have to go to health food shop next week.
On the plus side I brought some Brussels sprouts today (I usually really hate them) sliced them up and sauteed them with a little butter and garlic - YUMMY!! will be definitely having that again.
I've always liked most veg, even as a kid, but my mum still hid sprouts under the cabbage. So for me one of the really good things about being a grown up, shopping for & cooking all your own meals - is you never have to eat sprouts.
Will be counting my carbs every day now prior to starting Atkins next Saturday - will be eating "normally" WOW SHOCKED have consumed 232 carbs today - I won't list exactly what I've eaten but there was chocolate in there and now paying for it with a wicked headache and will probably have bad guts tomorrow - anyway night all - hope you had a good day x
Cool - a bit better on the carb front today only 129 pmsl. I already realise where I'm going to struggle and that will be getting my greens in. I can do without bread and potatoes definitely so will be no problem there but will have to not take any money to work so I don't get tempted by the snack machine and the choc muffins - hope the day was good for you all x
Good morning. Are you gradually lowering your carbs to avoid Atkins flu? I've heard of people doing that but with very mixed results on the weight loss front.
Good to have you with us.
No I'm eating what I eat normally - just to get used to what's got carbs etc - although is making me more conscious about what I'm eating - the high amount the other day was me eating a whole Terrys chocolate orange in one go - PIG - won't be doing that again x
