Wednesday EE weigh in day, gained 0.5

Breakfast: porridge, LF nat yog, strawberries, blueberries, grapes

Snack: banana

Lunch: superspeed soup, apples, plums, clementines

Snack: Velvet crunch (4 syns)

Dinner: egg noodles (?4 syns), chicken, stir fry veg, soy sauce, Worcestershire sauce, jerk seasoning. Mango, raspberries, LF nat yog

Total syns: 8

Exercise: day 23 level 3, 39 day shred

Thoughts:
Totally gutted about gain, no idea why, totally unjustified. Glad I stayed to group though as it was really good this week.
not going to do food diary for next 4 days as its my birthday tomorrow and have given myself 4 days totally off plan.
I wonder if some time off plan will give my metabolism a kick start.
 
Monday EE

Not done this since Weds as I've been off plan for 4 days, the time I gave myself off for my birthday! Weight at home,gained 2lbs so hope it's not more!

Thoughts:
Really pleased I've got straight back on track after my planned days off.
feel rubbish though, not sure if it's the change I'm diet or I'm coming down with a cold. I'm sure it'll all come clear in the morning.

Thoughts
pleased to have only gained 0.5lbs, shows how important it is to get straight back on plan
at a course tomorrow, pleased with myself for making a tuna, rice salad to eat.
want to start exercising again tomorrow if I feel better.

Thoughts:
Really pleased to have done my exercise and not died! Now need to do it everyday to achieve my months exercise challenge target

Exercise: day 27, level 3 30 day shred

Thoughts
Loved having a green day with all the extra cheese.
Am now planning to have a green week but not sure when as I shop on Sunday then am out for dinner Thursday then off to Devon for an off plan weekend at the parents.
Exercise went well today, feels a bit weird that I've nearly finished the 30 day shred. Will do each level once more before I move on to Ripped in 30.

Thoughts:
Nothing to do with the plan but got some fish - first in our tropical tank this morning, some tiger barbs, very exciting! Give them a week or so then get some more fish!
looking forward to cooking a new recipe from the mag tonight, can't remember what it is, something to do with pasta, passata and mince, yum! It was delish!
I had asked my consultant if quorn was superfree this week and she said yes but I found out today it isn't (she misunderstood my question). However it is a speed food so I will still plan to have a green week soon. Not sure when as away next weekend and out for dinner thurs ....actually think I put this in my last entry, will go and check! No I haven't, must've been in another post!
i WANT a 2 lbs weight loss this week to get me back to target range, been saying that for several weeks now so I hope I actually achieve it this week.

Exercise: day 29, level 3, 30DS

Thoughts
i know my lunch is not 1/3rd superfree but had another hypo and feel rubbish so at least I ate on plan food, not the chocolate I was craving. Too full to eat anything else but will try and snack on fruit later or maybe a mug of my veg soup.
bit short of fruit and veg as was due to food shop today but couldn't face going out in this weather. Will go tomorrow.
somehow avoided going out for dinner, both of us really wanted a burger after watching man v food but I resisted!

Not plan but fish not doing too well, our tank is very cloudy and 1 of the 8 tiger barbs we got yesterday has already died. We were told the cloudiness is normal and won't clear til fish are in there, it's a little better but not much. Think we need to do a bit of a water change and see if that helps. We've also turned up the air flow to aerate the water more.

Think this is turning into a full on diary for me!!! Wonder if anyone actually reads it now!

Monday. Surprise green day

Exercise: completed 30 day shred

Thoughts
extremely pleased to have finished the 30 day shred. I've never been a completed finisher so to have actually finished it is a massive achievement for me. Really inspires me to move on to something else. I strongly feel it's because I was posting on the thread on here every day I did it. I've set up a thred for the next DVD, ripped in 30 which I start tomorrow.
dinner was unplanned, a thought I had on the way to do the weekly shop, have a green day so I can have a pitta. I sprayed the pitta with fry light and spread a crushed garlic clove over the top, wrapped in foil and chucked in the oven for 5 mins. Yummy but think I would try and open the foil after a min next time to make it a bit crunchier!
2 more sleeps to weigh in, weighed this morning and it said I've lost 2 lbs, don't believe it but would love it to be true, to get back into target range which I've been trying to do for ages.

On an aside the fish tank looks great. Not crystal clear but at least you can see everything in there and see the fish even if they're at the back! Fish look really happy in there now.

Our road is planning a jubilee party. Not sure I'll be able to do it on plan but it would be so nice to do something with the neighbours that I don't mind!

Thoughts:
enjoyed ripped in 30, wasn't as scary as I thought!

Thoughts:
Bit gutted to only lose a pound, especially as I'm going to be off plan again this weekend. Ah well. I'll get back to target at some point.
At a course tomorrow so have made rice and tuna salad for lunch. Then out for dinner and wine in the evening.
 
Yummy what are your cheese scones that don't have syns?
There's some debate over whether these are misuse of food and should be synned, it's one of those things you have to decide about.
They are a packet of cheese and onion smash, a pot of fat free chive and onion cottage cheese, 1tsp mustard powder, 2 eggs and seasoning. Chuck it all in a bowl and mix it up. Make into scone sized balls, think I made about 12. On a baking tray in the oven 180 degrees for about 20-30 mins, just check regularly and take out when holder brown.
 
Didn't do my diary yesterday but it was a planned bad day! 100% on plan for breakfast and lunch, no syns. Then out for dinner, cheese and bacon burger with chips and onions rings and red wine! It was lovely!

I'm away this weekend with no control over food or wine! So I'll update today but then not again til Tuesday probably. Have dinner in the freezer ready for Monday night and stuff to make soup for work on Tuesday so straight back on it. Expect a gain this week.

Home today from a weekend away.
had about a months worth of syns over the weekend.
ah well, time to draw a line and move on! Had a lovely time ate and drank lots of lovely things.
planned food for tomorrow, 100% on plan and either no or very little syns. Going food shopping on the way home, making veg jambalaya and fish pie this week so some green and some EE days.
restart the exercise tomorrow too.
not looking forward to weigh in on weds.

Thoughts
Enjoyed the green day again
Had to eat the kit kat as blood sugars very low and was nearly out of fruit at work. I looked up the things we had available and chose the lowest SYN thing I fancied. Really enjoyed it!
Got more fish for the tank, it's full now, looks great!
 
Well done on completing the shred!! I have started it twice now but never got past the first week :(

Do you think it made a difference to your losses or toning? I am wondering whether to give it another go!
