MinkyDinkys SW Success Diary!!

Forgot to post this yesterday actually. Had a throw together lunch that was delicious and syn free.

Fried off mushroom, onion, spring onion, jalapeños and peppers. Bit of soy sauce, 5 spice, chilli and tomato purée. Cook off egg noodles and stir through veggies/sauce. Top with sliced raw spring onion. 20 minutes from start to finish.

How do you make your carrot soup?? I bought a massive bag of carrots earlier and they never seem to get used up

The Boy makes it but it's super easy.

Chop carrots (half a dozen or so? Depends ob size) into 1 cm rounds, 1 potato into small chunks, 1 onion diced and couple of cloves of garlic. Throw into a pan, fill with enough stock to cover and a little bit more - say a cm or 2 above the veg. Bring to the boil. Add any herbs or spices. We put a couple of chillis snipped up and tarragon mainly but do use curry powder or chilli powder, cumin and coriander or mixed herbs. When carrots soften put in a blender and voila! So easy xx

My shopping came tonight too, it always maker happy. Got so much food for a bargain price too. I got enough meat for the month. Already planning my meals x

Thanks :) **adds potatoes to shopping list** lol

Just noticed you're down to 12.3 :) ...that was the lowest I got to last July/August. Well done! You'll be in those 11's before you know it :) and if I'd have stuck to plan I'd probably be in them too lol

I'm too excited about some of the food I've got in - nothing radical but can make some super healthy and delish dishes! Xx

thank you hun! I'm too excited about getting into the next stone bracket which hopefully won't be too much longer! Xx

Morning morning morning!

Not feeling my best this morning but won't let that get me down. Bit chesty and throaty and not a great nights sleep but can't change that so going to bash work out as hard and quick as possible to get home again.

Food is done for breakfast and lunch, will take my yogurt and hifi light bar too. Checked the syns of the shape 0% yogurts I bought and bloody good job, they are the half syn ones as opposed to the free ones. Damn it! Not that half a syn will break the syn bank or I ever eat more than one a day but I thought all shape 0% ones were free. Just goes to show, doesn't matter how long you do this for you might not be counting something correct and is always good to check.

Righteo, must get a wriggle on if I'm not to be late for work.... Boo!

You are fab!! Well done x

Thank you! I knew I was close but now officially tipped it over :) I did set target to 10.7 for a 10 stone loss but thinking about changing it to 10.3 1/2 to give me a 50% total loss. And then deciding if I want to lose another half a stone or so once I hit that.... Hmmm, decisions decisions! Xx

Gosh Minks - you're quite tall hun, I'm not sure if the 9s might be too much ?? See you you get on in the 10s hun xx

I've always said to my mum I'll see how I look and feel at 10s 7, although that extra 3.5lbs will give me a 50% loss and still in the 10's and I'll decide from there. The lowest weight acceptable by SW for me is 9s 1, so if I do decide to lose another half a stone I'll be at the top of the 9's.

This is probably the smallest I've been in years so I don't want to get too thin - still want my curves!! Once I'm at target I'll see how I go and go from there xx

40% is amazing, you must feel so so proud. I have my target set at 11 stone but the closer I get the more I think I'm going to need to lower it... x
