Your curry looks amazing, what meat is it that you've used?
So jealous about your rice pudding, I can't seem to get mine right when I make it myself

Meat is minced beef, put in the blender with spices, roll in to small balls, sealed. Fried off onion, mushroom and garlic, added stock pasatta and spices, dropped balls back in :)D) and simmered for 20 mins. Was really nice actually.

Rice pudding is still going in the oven, 2 hours at 9pm so I'll check again at 9:30 and should be done. I'll let you know xx

Rice pudding was a winner! 2.5 syns for half the pot. Other half for tomorrow me thinks.

I'm in bed now Hun but will post the quantities in the morning. It's dead easy, just pudding rice, sugar and milk, stir in a dish and bake for 2-3 hours on 160, stirring every 30-40 mins. It made me 2 nice size portions at 2.5 syns and a HexA. Xx

Mine is slightly healthier :D its :

50g pudding rice
25g sugar (5 syns)
500ml semi skimmed mill (2 x HexA)

So 2 portions, each is a HexA & 2.5 syns or 8.5 if not using a HexA.
 
Feeling a little deflated this morning.

Confession!! Hi my names Donna and I'm a serial weigher :(

Now normally, what the scales say at home over the week don't bother me. I like just jumping on and off and seeing them head down over the week.

But this morning, despite all my hard effing work, upping my superfree, drinking lots of water (me and the toilet are BFF's now), I'm only 1 lb down??

Granted, I haven't really 'been' to the toilet for oooh, today is day 6, but even that's proving a mystery. So maybe that's having an effect on the scales but jeez, I've been a frigging ANGEL all week, ensuring I count, weigh and measure everything to the nearest g or ml and yet a measly pound?!

What's even more frustrating is that The Boy can sit there, eat a whole pizza in one sitting, drink beer, scoff chocolate and crisps, on top of the food I give him (which he always adds extra butter or cheese or sauces too) and still not put on any weight. Where as I meticulously have to watch every morsel that passes my lips just to get a loss... It's kinda depressing tbh.

I know I'm usually super positive and focussed on getting to target (which I still am!) but just having a morning where you think oh FFS, I just want to have a kebab and not have to worry, or yep, I'll have an Indian takeaway and have onion rice rather than plain boiled.

EVERY BLOODY MEAL AND EVERY BLOODY DAY HAS TO BE BLOODY PLANNED!!! grrrrr!

I just want to be at target! I just want to be thin! I want to be able to not constantly think about food and what I can or can't have. I just...oh I don't know.

Just having one of them mornings. Can ya tell?
 
As for food today...

Breakfast
Mushrooms and fried egg on toast - HexB

Lunch - spinach n rice soup. 2 syns

Snacks mullerlight 2 syns, banana, grapes, special k biscuit moments 5 syns

Dinner - dunno. Shopping is coming too late to cook any of that, have some mince in the fridge so maybe chilli or meatballs and pasta.

Oh no minks.....sorry to hear you feel like that today!!! I hate people who can eat what they want and don't put a single pound on! And how frustrating that your OH is one of them! Just think though, if you didn't plan anything and ate what you wanted instead you wouldn't be where you are today!!! You have done amazingly well so far!!! You're certainly an inspiration, to me anyway!!!! Keep at it mrs!!!

And your hair is bloomin amazing!!! Wit woo!! Sexy lady ;)
 
I completely get what your saying above, I just want to get to target too, I seem to be able to maintain pretty well (managed it last year even when trying to lose) but am sick of saying no every time anybody asks me to do anything! Gah!

You are doing so well and your almost there, I'm sure when you have visited the toilet again things will sort themselves out on the scales.

Love the hair! I'm totally feeling your pain with the scles and I don't even have the toilet thing as an excuse :( Hope your back in the swing of things soon xx
