MinkyDinkys SW Success Diary!!

Thanks for all the lovely messages - they all make sense and mean so much to me. I've just been getting my head all in a tizz about it. When I last went to the doctors I saw the nurse who congratulated me on my loss and then gave me a leaflet on a surgery near by that does tummy tucks and lipo - £10k!! I can't afford that. I don't know many people that could. But maybe I should speak to the docs, see if it is an option. I'm not asking for a full body nip tuck (y'know, arms, inner top thighs, boobs, as well as tummy tuck and lipo!) so maybe they may consider me. It's just depressing looking at a skirt if excess skin lined with fat and thinking 'I'll never be able to wear skinny jeans with a top tucked in'. Or a body con dress. Or a swimsuit. Pah.

But thank you all again. I'm going to keep on with SW and keep my target where it is and should I not be able to get below 'X' weight then I would have to speak to my C about my target. Xxx

And as for food today, all on plan and no cravings for the dreaded chocolate or crap I've been stuffing my face with (think it's the sugar rush, sugar crave that's been happening over the last, oooh, 5 days). But yes, on plan although different to original plan.

Green days till.

Breakfast - egg and mushrooms on toast hexb and part HexA low low black pepper

Lunch - McCain jacket 1 syn, rest HexA low low black pepper with broccoli, cauliflower and green beans.

Snack - plum.

Dinner - Orzotto (orzo with garlic and rosemary, creamed cauliflower, stock, salt and pepper, roasted bns and onion, with HexA mozzarella stirred through)

Thanks Zoe :) I think I'm a right hormonal ninny at the moment too which doesn't help! I need to stop put myself under such immense pressure all the time but I can't help it. I'm going to make an appointment with the doctors when I get down to my healthy BMI range (I'm sure I can right?) which is 11 stone 9. Once I'm healthy they can't say 'come back when you meet x criteria'. Just need to get my head outta my ass and concentrate on the positives rather than negatives. Xxx

Righteo, Thursday. Busy day planned. Already done food shopping and tucking into breakfast. Got an appointment at M&S at 9:30 for a bra fitting as I have no idea what size I am or the best bra for me, plus I need a proper sports bra! Then at 11:20 playing a game of squash, then badminton with a 3 mile walk either side of that. No idea what's for food today as I'm running out of time to plan and need to get moving if I'm to not be late for my appt!

So far breakfast - whole mango.

And it was bloody delicious!

Have a good day all xxx

Morning minks.....mmmm I love mango!!
You must have been up early to have been food shopping already!! Wow!!
Have a fab day......so much exercise!!! :)

Was up mega early! Knew I had a busy day so thought I'd best crack on. Had my measuring and fitting for a new bra which went really well, the woman was lovely (and told me not to lose anymore weight.... Does she know my mum?!). Now I'm a 36D in normal bras or 36C in sports bras (which are a mighty fun contraption), not bad considering I was a 42/44e. Old bras now in the bin and I'm nearly £100 down in the purse.

Managed to fit in a yogurt before leaving for squash, probably not adequate I know but have a hifi light just in case.

Busy day for you Minks! Are you off work this week? xx

Wow what a difference in your bra size!! You'll feel so much better now in the right size. Did she make you jump up and down in the sports one??? Lol x

Yay for new bras. I had to get new ones at 3 stone down and I've had to move into the middle clasp of these now. You'll be able to buy bras anywhere now! I hope you have a good time at badminton with your newly reigned in boobies. :) yay for the m&s lady compliment too. I imagined your mum going round your town telling people to tell you not to lose any more weight when you said does she know your mum. Being stuck where I am right now it really helps to see you come as far as you have.

And Yum mango

Love new bras! I'd gone up to a 40C and it was tricky to find them but now I'm down to a 36 and I'm loving buying new ones! Got some gorgeous ones in Ann Summers the other day - like this little beauty x

Got an underwired sports bra set of two from m&s the other day - well impressed! They pass the jump test nicely !
Loads better than the shock absorber ones I have had before
In fact I would say they are the best thing I have bought all year!

wow, MinkyDinky! Awesome weightloss girl!!

Could it be that your weight is infact target, but your excess skin is the problem (as in, if it wasn't there you;d probably weight your target, which is why its not shifting?) Sorry to gets you down so much sweet. Its hard when you've worked your arse off but your not 100% happy with the results.

xxxxx

That bra is lovely missy! Might have to spend some more money on underwear :D
The sports bra I got from M&S is fantastic. Stood the test of actually running and playing racquet sports (oh and I loved squash, super fun and fast game). She didn't say to jump up and down but I did when the curtain was drawn ;) Well impressed with my purchases and now have boobs that sit where they are meant to and look good again (rather than a crappy sagging half empty bra!).

Hi cornish, thanks for stopping by and your comments. It is something that's crossed my mind, and I guess the only way I'll find out is by following plan and not jumping off the rails like last weekend! I'm going to give it a good month and see what happens. People have lost more than me and still continued to lose past this point so I can only assume I still have more in me to give, even if it's only half a stone? Hope it's more but will see :) thanks again lovely xx

Food update. Still on plan and managed to eat well even when at the gym (was so hungry and had to eat!).

Breakfast - Biscuit 1 syn, Mango

Pre exercise Yogurt 1/2 syn and Hifi light half hexb

Between sessions Sesame ryvitas x 3 hexb 2 syns flora, banana

Lunch Sushi and edamame salad 1 syn
Fruit salad, Greek yogurt, 1 syn chocolate philli

Total 5.5 syns at the moment. Dinner is going to be chickpea, potato and cabbage stew. Sounds boring but I hope it's tasty!

So was still hungry after my fruit salad so had a quick cheese and onion omelette (1 egg, half a small onion and HexA cheese)

Dinner was a win, new recipe found online on the gluttonous vegan blog. Chickpea, potato and carrot stew.

I have a little leftover that I've just chucked some baby spinach into and will probably add some carrots. That'll make a nice lunch with a WW petit pain, not tomorrow though as I have a hair appt at 12 and then suit shopping with the boy afterwards so think it's sushi leftovers tomorrow. Oh! I just snaffled a chipolata off the boys plate for 3.5 syns so that's total 9 for today and I'll have my other hifi light after the pub (where I'll drink just diet coke).

Hope you all are having a lovely evening xxx

The chick pea, potato and carrot looks amazing....could I possibly pinch the recipe please??? My kind of meal :)

Ha! Don't know why I said carrot as it's cabbage! But you could easily put carrot in no problems. I'm just about to head out but will post it either later or tomorrow morning (depends on how late I get back!). It was really nice and I added a little more chilli and smoked paprika that were said in original recipe but that's personal preference. I won't forget I promise! It's super easy and fairly quick too xx
