I'm amazed! That cake looks sooo good! I have scan bran, muffin tin, almond essence but no quark in - I know what I'm making after a trip to tesco xx

Aaaaaaaaargggghhhhhhhh!
Really effing annoyed. My best friend is going to a wedding reception tonight of someone who I have also known for years albiet through her. Her OH has decided not to go with her as one of his staff is leaving work and all going for meal and drinks. So who does she invite? Not me. Another friend of ours who has never met the bride. Who gets very drunk, very easily and causes embarrassment whenever out and who my best friend always moans about because of that. Why? Why invite her? I feel really... I dunno. Let down? Hurt? Upset?
Yes I'm glad that I don't have another weekend fuelled with alcohol but jeez, its really p*ssed me off. Just feel like its a huge kick in the teeth tbh.

I'll be fine, think it was just the initial smack in the face of it. She must know she will have p'd me off because she hasn't replied to my message back.
To cheer me up I frosted my remaining cakes, killed more zombies and will cook dinner shortly.
In hindsight its done me a favour not being invited because at least I won't be drinking xxx

hmmm seems strange if you are best friends is there a reason this friend she has invited might be in need of a night out or maybe they were together when the situation arose so it was the easiest thing to do? A tiny suspicous part of me is wondering if she gets a bit jealous insecure now you have lost your weight and are looking super super but obviously that is with only knowing what have read and making a big judgement on it!

Oh she wouldn't be jealous! She lost 4 stone after taking tips n food plans from me and is now a size 8/6, 5ft 10 blonde and gorgeous
She did text me to say plans had changed and her oh was going into town and other friend was going with and that it had stressed her out and she needed a drink. I replied 'ah I see. Well you guysbhave a great time ay' And no reply since. That was 2 hours ago.
No idea why and she probably won't text at all tonight or even offer a reason. I'm just going to try and not let it ruin the rest of my evening and weekend.

I've given the boy a couple of hours to chat to his mate in sweden on Skype so think I'm going to wash up and prep dinner. Or just scour the net for more recipes. Or look at clothes I want to buy and download music too. Night is my oyster I guess
