MinkyDinkys SW Success Diary!!

I feel a bit like this with work. I go in on a Thursday morning and everyone asks how I did and if I've gained, after a night off, they are dissappointed! So now every Thursday morning i get a feeling if dread walking into work. I am a little sick of it too, ill get to target in my own time and if I need to have a day off now and again then I will! So know exactly how you feel. It just gets a bit boring because yes you've lost a lot of weight and people expect too much of you x

Oh and rochelle, tell your work colleagues to do one! Judgemental pillocks xx
 
And I'm going to be a total rebel and not stay to group tonight. Will weigh everyone and then home for dinner and meal planning woo! Xx

I'm glad that you can all see my side and why I get so p*ssed off when I gain - its not even the gain its the reaction!! Fooking stoopid. Although like I said, fam n friends are completely cool with it and actually glad that I've kinda maintained/slowly lost this last half a stone hence them not wanting me to lose any more.

I'll do it, I really bloody will, I'll full on have a massive scream of delight when I do! I'm going to put my heart and soul into being the superfree/superspeed queen this week with no syns Wednesday, Saturday - Tuesday. Only syns on thursdsy eve and then friday eve. May sound strict but its the only fair way of doing it to try and keep within syns. So no one here tell me off right!? Xx

And I'm going to be a total rebel and not stay to group tonight. Will weigh everyone and then home for dinner and meal planning woo! Xx

Thanks! It does get annoying though doesn't it. And good for you not staying tonight, you are your own person and can do what the hell you please! X
 
So 2 on, keeping me just in the 10's by half a pound. Got the disappointed face... then I made her feel really bad saying about stress and wanting to jack it all in ;) and when I said I wasn't staying to group... she looked gobsmacked! Never not stayed before but I feel a bit rough tbh, sore throat n tired. Think its just the partying and lack of sleep so I'll be ok in a couple of days.

Dinner nearly done. Smells lush and I'm flicking through the new mag. Hopefully give me some inspiration xx
 
I totally agree with the fact that its us that do it and I have far more support from here than group. For instance last week when I lost 2.5lbs I was dead chuffed and said wow,4.5 to hit my 10 stone! And a woman in the queue said "well you aren't going to do that by next week are you?" Not, well done or anything nice, not that I expect a round of applause but jeez! Where's the support??

That is terrible, and clearly came from someone who is jealous about your losses. How unkind!!

She isnt very nice giving u a disappointing look she shud be motivating u and giving u words of encouragement. I agree with em i think ur C may be a tiny bit jealous.

I brushed her comments off and take them with a pinch of salt. There is an article in the new mag actually about envy... maybe she should read that ;)

Dinner was lush and hot, used 3 birdseye chillies instead of 2.

Boy liked it too. He has enough for a lunch box tomorrow so he is happy.

Food for me tomorrow is unsure but I'll be going through the mag and cook books to come up with something. Got melon, grapes and cherries so fruit salad for lunch me thinks xx

Phew! I thought I may have been totes over reacting but you've all set my mind to rest. Thanks as always for the unconditional support :)

I really must catch up on everyones diaries so sorry for being a bit poo :(

Breakfast and lunch sorted - porridge oats soaking in natural yogurt, sweetener and vanilla flavouring to make pancakes in the morning. They make a lot so half for brekkie and half for lunch with fruit. Just dinner to sort. Probably pasta bake or something veggie.

Morning all. Struggling to get my head round a STS last night as I was really focused for a good loss for this week. I made the C look at my food diary and she picked up on the fact I am not eating a lot of carbs across the week (on EE) does everyone make sure they have a balanced meal of super free, protein and carbs for most meals? Thanks xxx

I don't as sometimes I have red days.
My thought is maybe its not the fact you aren't having carbs exactly but that you aren't having enough food but thats just going by this post and being still half asleep.
Have you hot an example of a meal your c commented on?
Also as annoying and frustrating as it is sometimes we do have sts or even gains which don't always make sense :( but if keep at it it sorts itself out.
Did you have a good loss last week? Was it better than expected? Could it be hormones? I think have read this week about people feeling bloated with the heat could it be water retention? X

Been eating fruit for breakfast, salmon and roasted veg for lunch and had salad with gammon in the evening. If snacking. - been eating apples, muller light or strawberries. The C said the balance between free and super free is not correct and that for EE the free should be 2/3rds. She recommended re-reading my book and go back to basics! Confused now.

Maybe it is that you aren't eating enough then? If you are having those sort of meals you could have red days and then you would get extra healthy extras?
Do you do a diary?

Sorry to hear hun :( I would love to see actual meals from you, one day's example isn't really enough and for instance I could say I had broccoli, cauliflower, potatoes, sausages and gravy for dinner and yet it could be either a massive meal, or a teeny tiny one! 1 sausage, 1 1/2 boiled potato and 1 floret of broc/cauli against 2 sausages, mound of mash, 4/5 florets each of broc/cauli is a vast difference. You may not be eating enough. Or are you eating too much? I don't want to sound like I am teaching you to suck eggs so please don't think that! But obviously the plan is to eat until satisfied.

I agree with Ems, your day you have mentioned above sounds like a red day as you have no carbs. Is it a conscious thing or do you just not like carbs? What A and B choices are you having? Again, are you measuring your quantities?

A woman who used to come to our group had a real high in take of fruit and regularly STS or gained and was so confused! We had a chat and I said to her about maybe having slightly bigger meals (to stop her snacking unnecessarily on fruit) and having maybe 1 or 2 portions a day whilst upping her vegetable intake. She tried it for a month and lost every week. Not saying that's the case with everyone because fruit is superfree and is very good for you but clearly the sugars in it or something didn't agree with her body.

What amount of syns are you having? These really are a vital part of the plan!! Its like your body needs to be reminded that it needs to lose weight and the 'naughty' foods / fats assist with this (how technical am I ay? ;))
