Bah. 2lbs off. I know I'm meant to be 'happy' with that but tbh I was more than a little fooked off. Next week I will be in the 14's. Going to stick with being an angel though, hopefully it'll give me a boost and I'll get my much needed 2lbs or more to put me firmly in the next stone zone. * week should be starting any day now so fluids fluids and more fluids to combat the bloat.

I'm over it now, was just a little frustrated as I'd hoped for more but it's still 2lbs off and I know that's great.

Positive, positive and positive. Getting my brain back on it and staying 100% like last week. No need not to be and I will reap the rewards soon enough ;)

Just making a spicy carrot and BNS soup for lunch today as it's a bit nippy out again and need something warming. Just no idea for breakfast? Hmmm.
 
Came to work on my bike this morning and gosh it felt exhilarating. I think I actually love riding. Now I've got my seat cushion too it's better. Might take a detour this evening on my way home for a longer ride. Might nip to my mums to pick up my leggings I left there last week? Who knows. The world (path) is my oyster!
 
Afternoon hon - you're doing so well and reading about your loss and reminding myself of your stats has given me a much needed kick up the backside - so much so I have managed to stay off the mint aeros and bread so far today! Weird - the pods have stopped me craving all the other naughty food I used to love and eat far too much of until I'm just left with bread and peanut butter and mint aeros - but still enough to pile the weight on sadly! Well done on all the exercise!:bighug: xxxxxx

Wat r pods?? Im confused coz sumone else mentioned it on anova diary
 
I'm not going to explain these very well but the pods are voice recordings that you listen to and they help you train your brain to lose weight rather than dieting as such.

It's a lot more complex than that but if you google it, it has a lot more info. Or becky might be able to explain :) JackieN uses them too and her diary tells all about them. They encourage you to also have 3 positives a day, no matter how big or small. Hth Hun xx
 
Minks, im back. first of all lady well done on the 2lb loss that is fabulous especially over bank holiday easter weekend with all those tasty goodies about i know its disappointing when you have your heart set on something but you will so be there next week :) secondly sorry i have been missing im just about to go and update my diary with a little explanation on my little detour off the SW path so i wont bore you on here but suffice to say im back (again- im like a boomerang!!! :) ) x

Sounds like the pods are doing a great job though - to cut out all the other cravings you have is awesome. As for the bread, pb and mint aeros.... Drool! Ha ha. Make a compromise and say that if you can do 'x' exercise or have a great 48 hrs you will allow yourself to have a slice of bread and pb or a couple of pieces of mint aero. OR have a hifi peanut bar instead of the pb as a HexB (which are gorgeous!) and instead of mint aero, mix mint options with yogurt and chop up an Alpen light bar and stir it through. Not the same but substitution needs to be done sometimes :)

Awww thanks Zoe :) I wouldn't mind becoming one when I hit target actually but will have to have my driving test by then, you know you can't do it without a car?! Although I could get a little trailer for my bike and ride it all there.... :rolleyes: ha ha!
But maybe at some point in the future, would be awesome fun!

Oh and FYI the yogurts, you have to stir them like every 30 mins for at least 4 hours.... hard work and not really worth it as most of it ends up on the spoon when you stir so you get like half a tub in the end. Just get minimilks or skinny cow lollys - I love 'em! xxx

I think you summed up the pods in a nutshell there, D! Thank you for the excellent ideas on coping with the pb/mint aero cravings. Am defo going to try these. You are fab - you've made me get excited about sw again. A lot of 'podders' say lose the 'diet head' but sw lost me more weight than anything else ever has and I think it complements the slimpods really well. Just need to get back in the zone! Oooh I've just finishing polishing my halo.

Birthday in the office today and that can only mean one thing.... Cakes! Raaaaahhhh! Naughty little bleeders. There were:

Apple pies
Blackberry and apple pies
Strawberry chocolate mini rolls (which to be fair, aren't that mini!)
Mini choc covered doughnuts
French/fondant fancies
Viennese whirls (my fave!)
Galaxy chocolate rolls
Cream topped fairy cakes.

And I had none! I contemplated eating a mini choc doughnut but swerved my hand to the fridge and grabbed my melon and grapes. And there was loads left over too so bought home 2 of the fairy cakes home for the stick thin OH (git!).

Dinner is taking forever to bloody cook and I'm starving and could just quite happily inhale one..... Instead I'm having a bottle of water :D go me.... :( ha ha!
