Dinner!! Steak and veg and HexA low low on my steak.

Finished with a hifi chocolate deluxe bliss bar thing and a fudge for 3 syns. Snaffled a biccie earlier and a packet of velvet crunch so today finishes on 13 syns. Good day!
 
I had steak aswell :) really enjoyed it!!

Love steak! The boy doesn't though so don't have it very often. He had a lightly dusted fish portion which is really nice from tesco, 7 syns? With carrot chips and a whole can of beans!! Strange boy. Xx
 
And that's it! Done for the day, gym bag packed and alarm set for 4.45.
That gives me enough time to wake up, munch something, make fruit and lunch up and get my butt to the gym for 6.

Happy hump day!! Woo woo!

Quickie post as just heading into le gym.
Food is red day

B - quorn sausage sandwich hexb and 1 syn lightest lurpak and smidge ketchup
L - egg salad half syn hot sauce
D - salmon fillet and stir fry veg
Snacks a plenty today. Banana, 2 x yogurt (but I think I'll save the 1.5 syn cherry one for pud tonight), huge fruit salad
A x1 on milk, B x1 wm bread, B x2 alpen lights tonight
Syns 3.5 but plenty of opportunity for that to change! Probably will have a hot choc tonight and maybe a little crunchie for 4 syns.

I woke up...read your post and immediately fell back to sleep for 15 mins as the thought of exercise made me so tired! Haha!
Wonderful food day (as always!) especially the salmon and stir fry...mm so my kinda meal! :) xxx

At least one of us got some extra sleep! I was tempted to turn over and drift back off but hey, if the alarm has already woken you, you might as well just suck it up and get moving. I'm seriously excited about the stir fry. But I haven't cooked salmon fillet before, think I should just bake it in a foil parcel with ginger, garlic, chilli and soy? Thoughts or tips would be awesome! xx

The getting there at that time of the morning is the hard part, once I am there, I love it. And then my exercise is done for the day so woo woo! xxx
 
Well done on the gym minks! I admire you for getting up. I just put lemon juice and herbs on my salmon but your combinaton sounds more oriental so would do that with a stirfry and then wrap in a foil tent if you get what I mean, so the top is triangular shape with a space between the fillet and the foil so it steams a bit. Then bake in the oven

Thank you for the tip re foil tenting! I have 2 fillets so I can always do one with lemon and herbs. Is that dry herbs or fresh better? Xx

And my treadmill sesh - if anyone know what METs are and what the pace relates too I'd be WELL happy to have an explanation!! I just try and up my distance/incline and quicker time so don't really know what the other bits mean?

Todays food has been good and so far 2.5 syns and an A and B used (sandwich this morn and milk in coffees)

And a banana, which I didn't take a pic of because you all know what one looks like right?!

Just waiting on my food shop to come and then I can get cracking with my stir fry. Super hungry today. Think I'll have another hifi bar later or 2 alpen lights after tea. Syns... undecided. Don't know what I fancy. Might see if we still have any hot cross buns left and if so that with some philli lightest would be good for 9 syns.

Love a good hot cross bun! Who cares if Easter is over! No idea what MET is on the treadmill but I think the pace means you averaged 8.34 minutes per kilometre! WOOP nice job...especially at stupid o'clock in the morning! Xx
