missemma's 10 stone journey

The first hour was good but then snoreville. I did donate though ?

Okay so after a bust up with my OH this morning I have only just had breakfast. 2 HEb worth of muesli. One portion just isn't enough haha. I love the stuff. I had 1.5 HEa milk too as I made a milky coffee.

Not sure if I'm on a red or green day today. Going to see Oz tonight & then out for dinner. Going to direct everyone to Nandos if possible so I can have chicken & salad, keep syns low, red day it is.

I might not have lunch as have just eaten breakfast, we shall see.

Have a good day everyone xxx

Yes, all sorted.

Oz was fantastic, I am such a big fan of the original film & return to Oz and I was worried that there would be no references to the original but there were so many references that it kept me happy. Even the start of the yellow brick road was in there exactly the same :)

Food today; red day.

Brunch:
Scrambled eggs, lean bacon & mushrooms. Milky coffee.

Tea: chicken stirfry.

I made my soup, it was 8 carrots, 1 onion & 1 small courgette. I then put a stock pot and whatever herbs I could find in my cupboard. Made 4 portions so totally enough for my week of work.

I just had the little bit that was leftover & it tasted yummers. So cheap also so a bargain for my £30 a week challenge.

I meant to update that last week, I managed £29 so £1 from week 1 has gone into my savings pot, I know that isn't much but you know it all adds up.
Whilst I was off I didn't really do a weekly shop but I bought bits here and there, mostly rubbish food as well which annoys me but hey ho, not going to dwell. The total for week 2 was: £23.39, saving me £6.61.
So far this week I have spent £26.57, this was because I had bought lots of fresh fruit (it was on offer) and meat, all of this though will last me the week so if I only have a £1 left then so be it.

I am now in bed, reading through some diaries with a cuppa & a mullerlight. Back to work tomorrow which sucks but actually it is a good thing for the weightloss as I'll have to walk to work so 3 mile walk and I'll be so busy I won't eat rubbish. I have pretty much planned my food, weetabix & fruit, soup & yoghurt and left over stirfry. Sorted.

Back to work today, waaaaah.

Am shattered so am already in bed and feeling sleepy :D

Being back at work was fiiiiine really, majorly busy but it's nice as I'm so busy I don't have time to obsess about food.

Food today (extra easy) -
B: 2 weetabix, semi skimmed milk, orange.
L: home made carrot soup, banana, muller light.
T: extra lean beef Stirfry with wholemeal spaghetti & melon.

Lovely food. Was all so tasty.

I also weighed myself this morning and well I wish I hadn't! Although doing it made me much more motivated. Lets do this.

Never thought to add courgette to my soup. I usually stick to leeks, swede, green beans and hard veg. Did the courgette stay together or fall apart?

Go you on the shopping! I am going to try and be a bit better with my shopping, tbh I have so much in the cupboard I could use but get stuck in an eating rut all too easily! hope work is going ok xx

Grr, I posted my reply earlier but it didn't send, the app on my phone does that sometimes though.

I usually blitz my soup so it falls apart, but on the times when I want it more chunky it tends to stay together quite nicely, the middle bit where the seeds are though sometimes fall away :)

Yeah, I know what you mean about getting stuck in a rut, I tend to do that too at times, however if I plan in advance it's not too bad. Am making an effort this week though to try and use up the meat I've got in the freezer as I have about 6 portions of mince, 3 portions of stirfry beef, and hundreds of packs of quorn mince.
Work has been fine, it's quite nice to be back for the time being, usual stresses, but I always find them much easier to deal with once I've done back after some time off.

Food today;
Banana prior to work, have been trying to have something fruity before work now to try and kick my metabolism as I've heard it helps?

B: 2 weetabix (heb) with 200mls semi skimmed milk (hea) with frozen berries.

L: Homemade carrot soup, mullerlight & yoghurt.

T: I currently have a slimming world quiche in the oven which has mushrooms, tomatoes & peppers in (2 eggs & cottage cheese & lots of different spices also). Got some runner beans that I'm going to have with it. I also have some ham which I might put on the top, I was going to put it in the quiche but if I fancied a green day tomorrow then I couldnt. I think I have a light mini babybel in the fridge so might top my quiche with that instead of the ham, just can't decide. Do I count today as a red day and then I could put a bit more cheese on the quiche or do I just count it as an extra easy and not be a piggy wiggy. Decisions decisions.

I'm starving and it's taking ages to cook so I munched on a bit of ham wrapped on a gherkin or two. Nommers.

So far I've had nil syns today, being naughty so to speak and trying to keep the syns low as I just want to shift this weight. I weighed myself this morning (and will do so every day no doubt) and the weight was exactly the same as yesterday - booo. I did wonder if it was too much fruit yesterday but we shall see.

Hope you've all been good :) xx

Okay good update, didn't add the cheese or the ham. I had some beetroot though which was nice. I've also eaten some melon.

2 pints of water down me & now for some trash tv in bed. Whoop.

I'm all good thanking you :) day off tomorrow so having a bit of a late night watching crappy tv. How are you? xx

Food today: red day.

Pre work snack: banana.
Breakfast: 2 weetabix, milk & frozen berries.
Lunch: homemade soup, orange & yoghurt.
Tea: left over quiche, ham, gherkins & salad. Was properly nice. Melon for pud.

I used my 2nd HEa on milk in coffee & tea. I needed to have a 2nd HEb but didn't really fancy it.

Tomorrow on my day off I am going to hit the gym I think. Yesterday on my way home I got followed by these two super dodgy guys, I noticed they kept looking at me so I quickly ducked into Tesco and one followed me in. I went back out and noticed the bus was coming so jumped on! I'm more annoyed I wasn't able to walk home than anything else, tonight I felt a bit jumpy so got the bus home as it was dark so deffo gym to make up for lack of walking.
I also weighed myself again this morning and no change in weight again even though I've been super good. Boo.

I haven't planned any good tomorrow will do that tomorrow :)

That must have been scary. at least you were alert and spotted them. Enjoy your day off and the gym!

I'm always on the alert, it's what living in London does to you :)

Food today is red!

B: 2 weetabix & SS milk.
L: I'm going to have ham, gherks, cottage cheese, salad probably & some good old melon.
T: homemade burgers with 1/2 babybel light inside & roasted veggies :) nomalicious.

Damn sounds horrid, I'm always an over the shoulder checker when walking alone, never know what dodgy people are about. Better for you to have been safe on the bus xx

I want burgers now :( xx

Burgers are always nice but such a bore to make as I hate touching raw meat! I have no eggs too so binding them might be a bit hard but oh well.

My job makes me super paranoid, we get a lot of alcoholics in and they learn your name as we all have to wear name badges with full names etc so I'm always worrying if someone who was a bit aggressive might be in the streets especially as I live fairly local.

well done you on the exercise! especially as its cold out :(
Checked the SW site and I lied - all Pastrami is freeeee! Woo! xx

It was freezing but actually it made it a bit easier, I was almost dead by the end of it but at least I did it :)

And hurrrrrrah, a pastrami and gherkin sandwich is so in order at some point this week.

I've finally found me some chocolate milk, it's the Oatly brand, I had a quick google and it does appear to be a HEa, is there any chance you could just confirm this for me? Thank you :)

Just had my dindins, I used 1/2 a babybel light in the middle of my extra lean mince burgers, they were actually yummy. I roasted some peppers, courgettes and tomatoes and it was deeeeelicious, the pepper was all sweet and properly yum. I could actually eat it all over again but I won't, I might have a mullerlight for pud, or maybe an options hot choc, decisions decisions.

Spent the last on my food budget on the Oatly Choc drink, some squash and some babybel. Taking me up to £29.98 so a 2p saving this week. Oh well nothing to put in the jar this week.

I have no idea about food for tomorrow for dinner. I have the last of my homemade carrott soup defrosting for lunch but it's all about the dinner, what to have what to have?

I weighed myself this morning and lost 3lbs from yesterday, still miles away from my weight 2 weeks ago, just finishing * week though so hopefully will be able to get a few more lbs off before the big weigh in on Saturday. I was really hoping for a loss or STS after my awful week last week but hey ho, just going to carry on through it.

Dinner & lunch:
