LOL - thank you for that? And ok, I'm intrigued...Why do you never add the 'n' to the end of my name? lol First few times I out it down to typeo but now I just wanna know! LOL

LOVE 'Many Rivers to Cross' -oooh that one could have been good there too. :D

AAH!! The liquidator song -I've wondered what that song was for ages -it's in an ad isn't it?

And I'm off to look up Toots & Maytal :D
That bass line's been sampled in something else hasn't it? An 80s song methinks -can't think what but I've def heard that before...

Love this... proper Motown-tinged sweetness

And talking of Motown... one of THE most bitter sweet songs ever in my opinion.... absolutely adore the strings breakdown... gives me goosies everytime :D

My personal favourite bit of reggie...

And if you haven't heard Israel Kawakawiwo'ole's version of Over the Rainbow. listen to it immediately!

Sadly for Israel, it's too late for Lipotrim...

Love that version of Somewhere over the rainbow.. never seen a video for it before so nice one Ric :)

Have some lovely French tunes a feisty French ex introduced me to :) The French are a nation of soppy sentimental sods :D They love their ballads :)

^^ Cabrel is a proper French legend... love the strings in this too :)

I only knew the UB40 % Chrissie Hynde 'Breakfast in Bed' and I love that one too. So YAY!

I can't listen to the Irael Rainbow...because of Cliff Richard! And OH plays it to death! And I'm faithful to dear old Judy. :D

And HD - I agree -Sharleen Spiteri is simply beautiful and with a beautiful voice too...which I think is just greed I think. ;)

Forgotten what a great track 54-46 was - grooving to Toots & Maytals on Spotify now - Have you downloaded Spotify yet HD? If not do it now - it's like garlic bread, it's the future! (sorry about carbs reference :( )

Not downloaded Spotify yet - will have a looksie but I am a vinyl man through & through... saying that though my sexy new car (Scirocco GT... petrol of course... none of this tractor fuel malarky for me) has an SD card slot for the stereo & I've got a 16GB card chock full of tunes so MP3 does have it's uses :)

I'm currently listening to this... TUUUUUUUUUUNE
