ProPoints My challenge to lose 10st in 15 months.

Yep no dreading the scales this week and whether it's 0.5lb or more I'll be happy as long as they're going in the downward direction. I think it's quite fitting too that I'm starting my month long challenge on the day of a weigh in so it means a fresh set of weeklies and hopefully kicking it off with a loss to spur me on even further. If it's a gain (better not be cos I've been soooo good) then that might be just as big a kick in the butt to stick to it too but I'm not thinking about that because they will reward my willpower this week gosh darn it! ;)

The breaded mushrooms were sent to me by mistake by Tesco. They're Aunt Bessie's frozen ones, total convenience food but I pointed them and voila mushrooms with my steak. Quite hefty in points but i'm making the most of having a large daily allowance because it is slowly shrinking. I've gone from 62 to 60 and it will hopefully be in the 50's very soon! xx

I shouldn't imagine it'd be a gain, I'm sure you're in for something good! I'm actually oddly excited for a month 100% on plan!

I tried to work our my allowance on WW but it was low and I got confused!

You don't have much to lose so your allowance is probably only 26 a day then you'd have your 49 weeklies to use how you want. Most use them all in one go but the ones on a paltry 26 a day have the odd few to borrowed from their weeklies to stretch it out a bit. Wonder if filling and healthy would be good for you though, very much like SW witht he no weighing or counting but the flexibility of the 49. Not that I'm trying to recruit you lol

It should be a loss even if it's only 1lb or 2. I've only had one biggish loss with the 4lb but as long as it's coming off I don't care xx

I suppose most of the recipes are pretty transferable anyway, the added benefit being stuff in shops tends to be pointed for WW!

They do yeah and they're everywhere. You can stock up on sauces and even the snacky things in places like poundland but the supermarkets have offers on all the time with them but all tesco healthy living range is packaged with the pp values on them. makes things super handy xx

The WW stuff tends to be low in Syns anyway, so probably wouldn't be all too different. Will try SW during Oct and see how I go, might fancy a change!

Whatever works innit. I'm lazy so I love the convenience of WW but I'll never knock SW because i've seen the success so many people have had with it. October is gonna be fun. It's nice to have goal and a plan. My hairy dieters should be here by the weekend so I'm gonna recipe plan by ti!s off lol xx

I'm very lazy, my main issue is it gets to about 3pm, hunger pangs and I start getting mad bad cravings for dinner! Especially as it's payday (finally)! I love cooking, but always find half way through I want something else :p

After working all day it's nice sometimes to be able to just stir a sauce into something to make a meal and I love ww for that. The book should be good and it was a bargain £2 because I had a voucher here so even better xx

Oh I bet, I've yet to find a pre-made sauce that's okay on SW (grr). I have mad steak cravings now!

I won't tell you how lovely it was then? Or how nice the mushrooms were? Deffo worth the 11pp in my book but then I am a greedy guts on times. Thought I had been fancying sweet stuff more the last few days and BAM!! (barry scott style) * week has hit with a vengance! I could kick mother nature right in the cu oh no wait that's way too offensive for here lol Back is killing, feel like I could sleep for a week and my meds have yet to kick in. Not due on yet so it's only luck that I put my prescription in for my two types of acids (not the fun hallucenogenic kind either) yesterday. They haven't started working yet though and without being crude I'm feeling like Moses :(

BUT on a high note so I don't bore you all with my hormonal whinging I do have the luxury of working from home so it is laptop on the sofa office until further notice.

Now must keep repeating mantra "will now eat all the magnums in the freezer because I feel sorry for myself"
 
Throw out the magnums!

Thanks MC, if this doesn't ease a bit I won't be going to WI later. It's so bad and the tummy cramps have had me awake since 4 this morning so I'm not holding out much hope. I didn't go wold with food last night though and after I had my tea I wasn't even tempted to eat again so I'm still 100% on plan and looking forward to completing this month (except the 31st cos I'm sure when I get to the cabin the wine will be opened) with angelic willpower xx
 
I'm joining you in hormonal, painful whinging, so we can be peas in a pod. I'm so doped up I'm sure I've had all my syns in pill form!! :p

I was also not as good as you last night resisting the owie "I'm sad and in pain, pouty face" temptations. But 100% October it is now, even if we have to bunk down under a duvet on the sofa for the first week of it!

I was only good because dinner was very filling and I knew if I risked going to the kitchen for anything I was going to eat my weight in junk so I just stayed on the sofa and played it safe. Just hope I can do the same today although weirdly today I am mega wanting tinned hotdogs in a sandwich. Not having them though will have soup or toast because your buttered toast made my mouth water xx

You can be good, definitely, you're on track, don't let it slip. I've just spoken to my friend RE her wedding in November so that's spurred me on!

Ahh I love weddings. My sons dad got married last weekend is it weird that I fb stalked his new wife to see if my dress is nicer than hers?

I gave in to the hot dogs but I'll point them and be good for the rest of the day. They were yummy too really hit the spot but it means no ice cream for me later xx
