My Diary

Rest days are hard to do, Rach as my school alone is 2 miles per day, I also have a big bouncy dog to keep amused. Having said that I have taken the weekend off, food and exercise. Now I haven't been TOO bad, have done no exercise but I haven't been stuffing myself either on the food front. I was babysitting Friday night and had a few munchies, lunch out in the pub yesterday with old friends and I had a burger but no dessert (they all did) and today I am over at Mums with a crowd of siblings, husbands, wives, children etc. No idea what she has cooked so will just have to take it as it comes then back on it tomorrow! I have enjoyed my food this weekend and enjoyed the break, I just hope I haven't done too much damage.

Thank you! All fine here, back on the wagon. Sneaky scale hop shows a small gain, to be expected, hope it will be gone by Friday, even a STS would be fine. Back walking today and food all good.

Thank you. I've cut down on my exercise cos not sure it was doing me too many favours. My knees and back were sore and those 4/5 mile walks were taking chunks out of my day that I didn't have. Soooo, I will still walk where possible, my school run is just under 3 miles a day anyway and I never take the car no matter what so I have that. Then if I keep a close eye on the food all should be well and not so much pain! Weigh in tomorrow!

1 pound off for me this week. Happy enough with that given the week it's been. Today I climbed Cave Hill and had lunch at the top, legs may never be the same again!

Thanks, Rach. legs are fine but my back isn't, I've wrecked it somehow and can hardly walk. It's an old problem for me but usually I can manage with my daily back exercises. For some reason these haven't kept it happy and it has seized up so all exercise is out for me at the moment except the school walk. Having said that I am keeping a close eye on food so that should be ok. Still hoping for a loss this week if I can keep up the food intake.

Sorry to hear about your back.. it really throws everything. Not had a bad back very often but definitely not nice when you get one especially when it comes to trying to walk. Make sure you get plenty of rest. Hope it gets better soon. If you're careful with your food your bound to still have a loss

Thankfully my back is much better today. I did my 2 school walks today with a bit extra and food is all up to date. I'm out tonight at a scratch Gilbert and Sullivan thing with wine and nibbles. Hoping to go for wine but no nibbles and see how it goes

Hope you have a lovely night x

It turned in to a more interesting night than we had thought. The Gilbert and Sullivan was awful, we weren't improving it in any way so we did a runner! Back to my friends house, sat in the garden and drank a bottle of wine, then walked down to the yacht club and had another bottle there. A few nibbles too but not many and there was lots of walking involved getting from one place to another (and running away!)
I'm a bit disheartened at the moment, I'm on such a good roll but according to the scales nothing is moving. Can't really understand it but just have to keep plodding on and hope for the best for weigh in on Friday. Had a hungry day today and ate plenty but got loads of walking in so all ok there.

That made me giggle the thought of you doing a runner!!!! I'm sure the scales will start to show soon & as we say so many times to each other I bet you're toning up & losing inches from all the walking. Keep at it you're doing great xx
