I want my normal life back as i used to meet my girlfirends for lunch twice a week b4 i started TS...I miss my social life very much ..And we have a great seafood restaurant i love to go to that serves really healthy food.

I expressed my concerns to my Doc yesterday and he has actually prescribed me some Orlistat 120mg capsules and told me that they may be a better option for the last 21lb...As my height as been amended with him it means my healthy BMI weight has changed too ..

His theory behind the tablets is that if i have abstained from all fatty unhealthy food for over 2 months now that they could help me keep to healthy food choices when i start to refeed. I love my doctor..he is very modern in his aproach even though he is getting on.

Oh decisions decisions lol...xxxxxxxxxx

I can't totally understand what your saying.
Have you had them pills before? I had them and omg they made me poo myself loads BUT I did just eat all the crap I used to so it was no wonder pmsl

It's a tough decision hun but it's totally up to you. I'll still be here supporting you whatever you decide :D

LOl you nut nut your meant to go very low fat diet on them LMFAO..no wonder you had a few accidents...

I just had a chat wiv me doc and said about my concerns wiv gaining weight when i come off the diet..So he asked me if i wanted the tablets in preparation..His theory is that if i make decent food choices once i have finished with TS that there will be no "accidents" using the tablets..I think they put the fear of god into you about making good choices..I have been over to the dark side today (ALLI Forum on minis) to have a nose and i am really swaying towards a healthy eating diet anyways so i might aswell try the capsules along side it to see what happens..

Have stayed TS all weekend and have exactly 1 weeks worth of packs left from tomorrow...So i have a few days to make up my mind completely..

Well done you on getting into the 12'S i am really pleased for ya xxxxxxxx

Whatever you decide to do, I'm sure you'll find a way to lose these last pounds, and it's important to choose something that will work for you and your lifestyle. The other option to consider is a more WS approach? I save my WS days for days when I want to have lunch or dinner out with friends, and it's made such a difference to me to keep that part of what I enjoy doing - I hadn't realised that most of the times I meet up with friends it's over a meal!

Anyway, hope this week goes well, and you'll soon be in those 12's with Clair!

Thank you For your words of wisdom as always Rachel...(you are going to make a fabulous priest by the way) I have thought long and hard all weekend and have made a decision. I AM going to order 1 more month of packs and just do WS some days and TS the others.

Totally agree with what you have just said. I can work this diet in with my lifestyle as i am not missing alcohol or craving bad foods so to do some WS days will suit me fine.

Going to stock up with lean protein and veg and have some if i really feel the need and not beat myself up about it.

Thats the whole reason i think i have been wavering..Dont want to feel guilty for eating healthy foods if that makes sense? TS is very restrictive and has been a great tool for me so far. When i did the AAMW back at week 5 i hated it as i wasnt ready to introduce food into my diet at that point. Where as i feel that i am ready now to implement WS as the next phase of my weightloss journey.

I think my biggest fear at the moment is that i will get bored with TS day in and day out and fall off the wagon altogether.

Like Clair and you,Rachel, i have lost an awful lot of weight and i really dont want to fail. The TS is just too restrictive for me as i am a bit of a social butterfly and i love being out (especially during the summer) so i am pretty much convinced that WS WILL work for me and get me to my goal.

I think the other thing thats helped with the decision is that i am actually quite happy in my skin at the moment and dont feel the urgency to lose the weight quite so quickly. I think i am going to take my measurements tomorrow alongside my official WI as my clothes are getting looser too. I am definately leaning towards not worrying about the number on the scales too much now either as i know the inch loss is there.

I think you're right in measuring as well as gauging your clothes, as our shape really does change as we lose weight.

I am confident (although I don't know you personally) that you will get to goal, and make sure you keep us posted!!

Thanks Missy ...i love this dairy lark cos i never talk to anyone in the real world about my diet other than my mum and 1 close friend..Its kinda cathartic to post my thoughts etc on here xxx
 
Hi all..been feeling a bit miffed about the scales not budging so i decided to re measure my stats.
anyway here they are after losing 23lb on Exante

hips..... 51" now 45".... lost 6"
waist.... 36" now 33".... lost 3"
chest ....36" now 34.5". lost 1.5"
calves....17" now 16"......lost 1" off each
ind thigh.29"now 26"......lost 3" off each

So thats a combined loss of 18" in just under 6 weeks!!! (1.5" off my waist since i STS at week 5 till now 5 days into week 6

So i am so much happier knowing i may have STS and the scale hasnt budged yet this week but i have lost 1.5" off my waist during that time...

Just thought i would share this as i know there are other people struggling when they STS...get them measuring tapes out ladies and gents!!!!!!!!

Going to post this here and am also going to paste it into my diary for future reference. Just incase i lose the paper i have written them on so far...its nice to have it on here to look back on ....so sorry if anyone thinks they are seeing double lol xxxxx

have just retaken my stats (been trying smaller clothes on and they fit!!!)

hips..... 51" then 45"....today 44" lost 7"
waist.... 36"then 33"....today 32" lost 4"

So thats 24.5" in total gone...Thats over 2ft pmsl...Really pleased with the shrinkage....And have just ordered my last months supply of Exante. will actually last me a bit longer as i have a few planned days off plan coming up...

Feel like i am on the home run now !!! xxx

Will need to buy some smaller bra's too as my 36's are just too big now..might get some new ones at the weekend me thinks xxxx

Wow, your stats are great, it's amazing seeing where the pounds loss has actually come from. I'm glad you've worked out a way forward that will let you do the things you want to do, and still lose the weight you want to at the same time.

I know what you mean about not having quite the same urgency to lose the weight - I'm finding that a little scary too, as I'm fearful that as my need to lose it quickly is lessening, I'm nervous that I'll stop before I get all the way to my goal - but I am really enjoying doing things like lunches & dinners. I'm finding the 100 day chart is really helping me (I'm counting a WS day as 100% too), it's just helping me not to wobble off completely!

Anyway, glad you've worked out your decision, and now you can look forward to your weekend away :)

Well i jumped on the scales this morning and havent had a chance to get on the comp till now to post the results...

Plus i was far too out of breath from running around the house in my naked WI afterglow shouting "yes!!! yes" :banana dancer::banana dancer::banana dancer::banana dancer::banana dancer::banana dancer:


PMSL ..god know what the the neighbours thought..

Anyway sthe scale is now firmly pointed at 12st 13.75lb I dont care about the 3/4's of a pound as i have never used parts of pounds in my stats...

WHOO HOO I AM OUT OF THEM 13's !!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
TODAY I AM 12st 13lb !!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Off to update my stats 4lb off this week xxxxx
