hey valentine, firstly WELL DONE!! what fantastic results! youre doing so well and will be at goal before you know it!

secondly, the raw mushroom thing. NOM! they are amazing, try chestnut mushrooms, really nice nutty flavour :)

and lastly, try reading a book or two by Dr barry groves (see amazon) for a truly interesting way to look at eating when you hit goal weight... seriously believe he speaks the truth.:D

well ladies.. i was a sinner last night,,BFF divorce came through after 2 years of bitterness..So we went out and celebrated ..only had a chicken salad but did share a bottle of wine and had 2 glasses of bubbly..SO not majorly bad..Anyway i have been back to TS today and intend to stay that way till the 8th..As we have put the girly weekend back a week..(could not get a room at our normal hotel for this weekend) so that gives me to shed a few more pounds..I have put 5lb on!!! think thats mainly fluid as my clothes are still the same etc...Hopefully i will have given my metabolism a good boost too over the past weekend xxx

Hope everyone else is having a good week in the wonderful world of Exante xxx
 
Day 2 of TS and so far so good...

Got a family "do" at the weekend now as brother is coming over from the states where he has lived for past 14 years...So will defo be partaking of food and wine...

Then back to TS till next weekend when i go for girlie break....will do as best as i can to either STS or lose a few pounds over the next 2 weeks...

Have not been near the scales for a while now as i know i amd still carrying lots fluid...maybe after 4 days TS i will have a quick peep to see where i am...But to be fair i dont care too much as my clothes are fitting nicely still..Dont want to hit the scales and get a bad WI and then use it as an excuse to be naughty lol ...

have to say i have not been on the straight and narrow properly as i have a few social bits coming up over the next few weeks.

have decided to do atkins/low cal for a while as its a waste of packs toying about with TS at the moment. Cant go into Keto as know i will be drinking this weekend with my brother (who i only see once every 2 years) he is over from the states so lots of family stuff goin on while he is here.

So rather than waste packs its a tempory diet route for me till mid july and then back to TS.. have gained a few pounds in fluid but i am not going to stress about them as i know once my body is adjusted to the refeed they will come off again. Am keeping a food diary with me to write everything i eat in so i can keep a true and honest record of what i am eating not just for calories but also carb/protein content ratio etc xx

I am just doing low carb at the moment.Have gained a few pounds in water from poo days so am doing a couple of days TS before i go out saturday eve.i know i wont be in keto by then so will drink but not too much as i have decided i really dont want to undo any of the weight i have lost so far by going too overboard. then i might stay TS for the next week till friday when i have another "do" lol..
I know its a bit up and down diet wise but i just dont get to see my bro that often to beat myself up about it..What i do know is that after he has gone home and girlie weekend is out of the way i am gonna do TS till my packs are gone then see where i am weight wise.

Think i am gonna probably switch to atkins and orlistat once i have finished the remaining packs as i dont want to spend the rest of the year on Exante ..If that makes sense lol...

My back seems to have got a bit better lately from shifting more weight and my physio says i can start doing some toning stuf once my shoulder muscle is out of spasm (damaged it badly when i fell in january) I see him every week so he can monitor how i am doing..
I have ordered the dreaded shred dvd as i spoke to him about it and he said that as long as i only do what i am comfortable with that it should be ok... as its been the mandatory 12 months now since i had the bone graft and wallace devices put in my spine. so i am really pleased about that!!! hmmm mind you i havent seen the DVD yet pmsl xxx

VLCD is very difficult when life gets in the way, isn't it ;) ... I think you are being sensible trying to do low carb while you have various social commitments - you will lose weight if you keep carbs low, and there is no reason for you not to get into ketosis. I would say this isn't the be all and end all though, as you'll be eating food, and choosing sensibly to keep you feeling full and satisfied :)

Enjoy your busy weekends, and good to hear your back is feeling better.

Just be careful tho babe, dont need anymore injuries do we? :) is your muscle better now then since having that tape on?

I know what you mean about the diet, I'm still all over the place but I've enjoyed being "normal" today :D took my first Orlistat after my omelette but then read the leaflet and it says if you've not had a fatty meal then dont take one, what's classed as fatty? I'm confused! Is omelette fatty? Lol

Hope you have a lovely night tomorrow with your brother. I know how special these times are. I dont see my family much with living in Doncaster.

It's great to hear that losing the weight has helped your back too.

I do think this diet is harder as we get closer to goal too, low carb sounds like a good plan for the next few weeks. Hope all goes well.

Yes i had a lovely but very boozey weekend and suffered all day sunday for it...My weight has jumped to 13.10 from all the carbs over that naughty 2-3 days but i have read the Glycogen thing and i know its only a watery dain and not fat...Have made a proper decision about my diet plan for the next few weeks..I AM going to finish my packs and stay TS with some healthy determination until they are gone..

All the social events that have been going on have made it impossible for me to diet properly but i dont want that scale sitting in the 13's..i preferrred it much better when it was in the 12's..

As an experiment i am going to WI every morning for the next 3 days to see how much my weight is going to fluctuate with fluid loss etc...Just out of interest as i am not a scale hopper but am trying to get to grips with how and what affects my weight the most..

So today i begin at 13.10 (day 1)

thanks girlie...it was very worth it and am meant to be away this saturday but BFF has just had some dreadful news so i think its going to be cancelled till late august now...so that will make getting back to TS much easier...

Hiya hun..today has been a good day...have faffed about for the last 2 weeks with lots of social stuff.decided just to come off plan completely .Had a bit of a epiphany this morning when i got up and jumped on the scales..did not like what i saw even though i know its mainly fluid..So am on a restart..day 1 is always the worst for me on any diet..(its the...i can try again tomorrow syndrome i think lol)...just had a major wobble so went and had a shower and brushed my teeth and its passed thank goodness..

Mind you i have spent the day in the sun in my garden today..what a glorious british summers day !!! and have topped up my tan nicely.

Going to do a daily WI for next few days just to see how quick the fluid goes again and see if its inline with the glycogen theory...Not a scale hopper at all so will have to try very hard to remember to do it before i have my morning coffee etc lol..

How about you? how are you getting on huni? xxx
