Well done for getting back to it marg... I finally feel like I've got my head in the right place... And I have stayed off them scales!!! Have decided I am gonna try and stay off them till next Friday morn which is the eve the bf will be back... Be nice to have a good number of loss... I gotta lose cos I've been so good right??? Roll on Friday lol x x x x x x

well it's the end of day 5 and I'm still in the saddle.. Have had a fab day today with my 6 month old grandson Frankie who I adore... He is gonna look cute In his new outfits I bought him today... Needed some retail therapy and don't want to buy myself anything at the size I am... So he got treated instead lol.

i just had a check on the first few weeks of my diary... I lost 11lb the first week and 5lb the second when I did this diet for the first time!!!!!! Wouldn't mind having a repeat of that loss this time round eh,,,,

i have still stayed off the scales and am determined to stay off them till tues.. I'm dreaming about losing half a stone t
the first WI cos that would keep me on track ... To be honest I just can't wait to be back in the 15s .. That's the first goal.... Will set a new one each week ..

Iv got 6lb to go until I'm back to the 15's i weighed for the last time today and I'm not weighing again for 1 month :) I will struggle so bad but I think the shock of seeing a bigger amount each time I weigh is going to be much more encouraging than small numbers daily or even weekly :)

I used to be a daily WI kinda girl but managed to crack that the first time i did ther diet muff cos like you i want to see decent loss numbers.. thats why i have stayed off the scales till i got 7 full days of TS under my belt..

I'm on day 6 !!!!!!! im so pleased with myself cos i know that once i have that 7th day done and dusted i can get on them scales on Tues....

Today ive had an exante porridge (which i have every morning cos its like a normal brekkie) and a S and S cottage pie pack which was not too bad at all... As my hunger has gone completely now im in keto i think i might finish off the day with a choc shake...

Ive mixed it up a bit doing Exante and Slimsave at same time but i love the porridge from exante too much to give it up.. then i just have 2 other packs of either slimsave or exante depending how i feel.. i know ya meant to do 4 packs with just slimsave but mixing in the exante im just sticking to 3..

Wont see my BF till next Friday ... he couldnt get down cos of work this weekend so i am wondering if he will notice i have lost any weight when he arrives next weekend??? cos i wont have seen him for 11 days....

norm i see him from friday to monday... not having him here this weekend has probably been a blessing cos it has meant ive not had to be near food or vodka lol...

Muffy your doing just fab so stay with it babe cos ya know how much happier ya are when ya not carrying the extra weight about...

I felt shi* when i hit 16st.4lb and i really didnt wanna even get on the scales to get my starting weight... but if ya dont know the start weight then ya cant measure the loss can ya.. i actually burst into tears when i see the number on the dial.. NEVER again am i gonna allow things to get that out of control again..


Marge i really want you in the 15's too!!!! so no more days off please hun ... we are old timers at this diet so its time we all cracked it together ...

In doing exactly the same with mixing it up on slim and save and exante I love the meals on s&s and have lots of exante shakes to use up still they are already out of date by a year oops xx I done what you done when I eventually allowed myself to weigh I was 17st 6.8lb and I hate myself for getting to that :( but its all gravy baby! Lets get it off and keep it off xx

It's funny how it doesn't click for some of us until we hit desperation. I know it definitely was the case for me I never saw 13/14/15/16 as desperate because I'd been all of those all of my adult life but hitting 17's was some scary stuff. When is it the right time to start? Why can't we just do it once we gain 7 lb like we plan to? I don't think ill ever know the right answer but my brain just clicks into "do it now" mode and lucky enough I am doing it. I struggle every other day at the moment but I do it. I am grateful I have minimins to help me and to pivk me up when i fall. i hate being the needy member its actually total cringe when i read back how pathetic I can sound. Hopefully ill find it as easy as I did back in 2011 but either way I'm plodding along.

Morning ladies...

Yep diet wise it was not my year in 2012...

But i did meet a nice fella in May so not all bad lol..

im really determined to get into the 13's by end of April for Scotland... where i will have a few days off plan.. gonna low carb it during me visit and take som tesco bars with me to replace at least 1 main
meal a day... that should help keep the gain down..then im getting straight back on plan when i get home again... Cos this time round instead of stopping at 13st i am gonna carry on until i am in the low end of the 11's..

I can still remember how when i was 21st 7lb the desperation felt to be lighter... hence i got banded in 2005 .. great tool for a few years but in hindsight i should have had a bypass cos i was so heavy.. but that seemed too drastic as the band is completely reversable... Well it defo was in my case as i had to have it taken out due to complications in 2011...

Totally agree with ya muffy about the brain clicking .. cos i think it took the shock of seeing 16 on the scale to shock some sense into me to get a grip again...

I know this sounds vain but i have a 5 month old grandson now who i adore and i want to be a nice slim Nanny V for his 1st birthday which is august 7th and have lots of photos taken with him... full body length ones intead of just from the boobs up ha ha ha..

Ya never sounded pathetic at all Muffy .. ya was just a normal girly doing a diet like the rest of us.. you were brave to write down exactly how ya was feeling.. i have never been able to do that in a completely open way... I tend to be a very closed off kinda peron when it comes to certain personal stuff.. but i am getting better ...

When i think now how easily it was just to ignore my weight creeping up i get really P*SS*D OFF with myself for being so stupid.. but its done now so i just gotta suck it up and get on with dieting again... not gonna dress it up and call it an eating plan... its a FU**ING DIET !! lol plain and simple..

Its day 7 today and my breath is worse than the dogs so im in full blown keto ...takes me 4 days to get into mild keto then another couple for it to completely kick in ...

Got a busy day today so im gonna get off here for a bit and go shake a tail feather..

Oh and marge ya gonna be in them 15's with me tomorrow lady!!! both Tuesday weighers lol... mind you i might WI every 2 weeks after week 3 cos of how it slows a bit might muck my head up ..

I felt terrible in my size 18 jeans.... but still gained weight :confused:, to virtaully burst out of them :eek:
I have still remained true to myself, in that I wont buy bigger clothes... so for me, I need to get into a 16, and chuck all the 18's out !!
Why I didn't do that last time, I dont know, I sooooo wish I had... as I wouldnt have gotten back to this stage again :eek:

I can so relate to the clothes thing... i did chuck out all my big stuff but not my 16,s .. ended up buying some size 18 stufff at xmas to go scotland for hogmanay but only long tops... i just wore them with leggings as i am doing now..

I swear to god that when i get down to a size 12 i am never gonna wear fecking leggings again.. they are like Grow bags!!!!!! ya just expand and cos they are so stretchy it dont make ya feel uncomfortable!!!!.. so ya get bigger before ya properly realise... gonna squeeze back into my 16 jeans at the first opportunity even if they give me a camels toe.... will just cover it up with me long tops pmsl x x x
