My SW diary, by Bess.

Have fun bess! Xxx

Hope I haven't missed you Bess. Have a really lovely holiday. Look forward to hearing about it when you get back.

Phew! Back from 10 days away on 2 seperate breaks and exercised out. Walked and walked including 50 miles of the coast path in Cornwall carrying everything we needed for a week.. Out of interest I weighed my back pack when I got home and was surprised to find it was only 1.5 stones. (It seemed much heavier!) Interesting though, to realise what carrying an extra 1.5 stones actually means, it's made me more determined than ever to shift my last 2 stones permanently.
I found that the SW way of eating is now ingrained and without being exact I was able to make sensible delicious choices of food and the occasional treat. (My first lobster eaten where it was caught in Port Isaac and a wonderful pudding called Vacherin, which I'd never heard of but was really pavlova with honeycomb and strawberry coulis.....oh yum.) After burning masses of calories each day walking/climbing I came back 2lbs lighter. I am so much fitter and smaller clothes fit me too!

Glad to be back at home with my family again and determined to continue the good work, so in that vein I have already whizzed round a usual pretty steep walk with DD3. Need to sort out stuff here and go shopping now. :)

Wow, wow and thrice wow!!!!!!!!! So glad to have you back Bess and 2lbs lighter and fighting fit to boot...fantastico :D:D

I've missed you and will be glad to see your pearls of wit and wisdom on minis again.

Big hugs xxx

'Pearls of wisdom?' .....:flirt2: If the smilies would work you'd have the one falling over laughing here!

I've missed you too Chels and am very glad to see you are still plodding on, sorry you've been ill again though, poor you. :( xx

So glad to have you back Bess and hooray for the 2lbs... and the vacherin! (Drools....)

Hmm...taking a while to get back in the groove - better get a grip tomorrow.

B: Muller light, Omelette.

L: Banana, apple. 2 Baby bel light. 2 laughing cow light little blue cheeses. Few cherry plum tomatoes.

Pecan pie when out with my mother in a cafe. And a small crunchie bar.:eek: And 2 tiny aero mint chocolates.:eek::eek: (Piglet.)

S: Pork chop, lean(ish) new potato, carrot and sweet potato, apple sauce made with Splenda, brocolli, pea and mint puree, gravy with 1 teasp flour for us all.
Strawberries, Quark and Splenda.

No wine, on account of being greedy earlier.

Plan on a 2 syn hot choc later and concentrating better tomorrow.

Morning Bess - Just catching up on your diary as I've been a bit self absorbed lately what with work and looking after everything at home on my own (I never thought DH did much but what a difference it makes when he is not here!).

Your walking holiday sounds great! I would love to do something like that - maybe one day when DD is a bit older I'll take her and some friends.

Well done on the 2lbs off and making good choices while away. That Vacherin sounds amazing! I often experiment when I make meringues but haven't tried honeycomb in it. Love coffee, hazelnuts, dried strawberries and pink peppercorns, maltersers etc. I just love meringue full stop :D

Hope you have a great day!!

Oh no. I will now be fixated on meringue all day! (So... looking like a very HAPPY day then!)

Sorry - at least they are low in syns :D

Are they? Wow, that's makes me even cleverer when I chose the vacherin then! Don't suppose the soft cheese, double cream, honeycomb or coulis that went with it was though!
Nor the smarties and toffee I had for breakfast this morning...... I must remember that I'm not using up massive amounts of calories walking now and be good.

Lol... a dance called the meringue?!! I would wear a big white frock, all net and froth, and a hat with fruit on... have not eaten meringue, so no worries, just nice to have happy thoughts to start the day! And low in syns? Hmmm...

Right, that's enough messing around Bess. You are not walking miles and using up lots of calories and if you don't get back on SW soon, you'll get fat again, so get a grip. Right now.

:ashamed0005: ok then.

New day, back to SW, no messing .

B: Fat free Greek yog, banana, 3 dried apricots (2.5 syns) 6 almonds (3 syns), 2 baby bel cheeses (Hex A).

L: Fish pie, cottage cheese, cucumber and tomatoes. Banana and a Fibre+ bar (Hex B)

Banana. Muller light yog.

S: Low fat sausages, new potatoes and cabbage. 1/2 glass red wine (3 syns).
Girls have made a very fattening cake from the Sainsbury's mag which is just melted chocolate, double cream, rapsberries and blackberries. I have 6.5 syns left and so shall try a teaspoonful only. (I think it will be too rich even for me!) And will probably have a hot choc drink (2 syns) later as well.
