Need somebody & general chit chat

im no good at converting weight so may have to google my weight to tell you lol

im currently 11ston 6lb. my target is set at 11stone 4lbs but i really want to be 11stone dead.

so Google says thats:-

currently=72.5747792 kilograms
set target=71.6675945 kilograms
ideal goal=69.853225 kilograms

oh and im 5foot 8
 
According to my measurements and my old weight loss recordings (because me and the scales arent friends), I'm about your goal weight now. Hoping tomorrow might be lower but not stressing about it. My ultimate goal weight would be to be 10st flat.

I do have a few hurdles ahead; romantic anniversary weekend away in 2 weeks (road trip), my b'day the weekend after that, then inlaws coming to take me out for dinner and stay the weekend the one after my b'day and the weekend after that friends from Perth (hometown) are coming to stay for 5 days. So 4 weeks of maybe just been focused during the week and sensible choices on the weekends? Then I have 4 or 5 weeks before I go home to visit family. Would like to be about 65 kilos by then. Hoping in 3 weeks to be 68/69 kilos, but not going to jump on the scales unless I'm at the measurements that corresponded with that weight, when I lost last year!

makes perfect sence. and i think your going about it right as well, sensible weekdays enjoy yourself but not madly off track weekends. sounds good to me. good luck.

i would like to be in the 10 stone area but i m very broad and if i go below 11 stone tend to look funny and my face sinks in haha
 
I dont want you to have a sinking face! Anyway what's your goal for today? Mine was not to feel bloated by bedtime and as I've stopped eating an hours ago I 'm feeling half way there!

going to try and grab a glass of water everytime i go into the water room, wich is were my work prints out so thats a lot of going in there. tuesday i managed 10 glasses.

i also have to walk home and back at dinner to let the dog out so thats 4 miles. so in all will have walked 8miles to get to work and back today.

thinking about halloween, i know its early but these things need planning. want to go as Quinn out of batman but the costume is very tight, it would be an insentive to stick to it and get into the costume for 31st October, but still.....hummm.

how you doing with your goals, you still 100%

Feeling a little low, as i'm not going to make it into my black dress for my b'day dinner which is the week after my b'day (3 weeks). I really need to loose about 3.5 kilos but i dont think this is going to happen. For my b'day drinks with friends I have a blue dress which I think i'm going to wear, but it may be too cold and I might buckle and wear jeans!

I am going to the gym most days, but my hunger is really had to battle with, which is why i'm feeling disappointed in myself for not having more discipline earlier on. I do feel slightly fitter after 1 week I've been 6 times in the past 9 days I think? But I've also had wine chocolate, not like me and I've got my period....

I measured my waist this morning and gained back 3.5cm I think it said. Today I've been okay i've had a little muesli and a slim protein snack bar (88cals). Still back to it and lots of water and heading to the gym tonight for another session.

I am a little wishful that I might loose 2 or 3kilos in 3 weeks but we'll see. It's much easier to loose weight when you dont have a deadline! Well for me anyway. Sorry about the venting and sorry to leave you chatting to yourself for a few days!

oh sugar, dont be so down, im sure you can make it and if you dont quite get there just think of all the way you have come and all that you have achived already. wear the blue dress IF the black doesnt quite fit, take a little cardigan or wrap in case its cold but you have come to far and down so well to bottle it in jeans.

be proud of yourself, its hard thats why we are on here in the first place if it was easy we wouldnt have to be and there wouldnt be as much pleasure in succedding. you are great and you look fab' now, you will get to were you want to be in time but your body will dictate it not you. keep your chin up :)

iv put on 1 and half pound again this week so im just pooie ha ha but did get my new tattoo on the morning of weigh in day so its prob' just 1 and half pound of ink lol
 
Hello, i joined slimming world last week with my other half we have 5-6 stone in total to loose between us :).. ive only ever done vlcd and now ive decided i need to get my head around food and healthy eating so any good menu ideas etc etc :D would be great and a little support networkl to get me through would be fab, it seems everyone has done well on slimming world :) im looking forward to doing my journey with them :D Amy

hello Amy and welcome. i started this thread cos im rubbish and always need a kick up the bum to stay on track. its true that Slimming World is a lifestyle change rather than a diet and that the food is healthy and stuff that your body needs to work.....but its still hard to resits all those naughty things that we dont really need but still want, cos we have programmed ourselves over the years to eat them and expect to eat them.

so good luck and stick with it, we are here to help you through the bad times and cheer you on through all the good times.

so far so good, i mean im ok with the crppy stuff because my weigh in night is treat night :D ... ive done cambridge and gone without food 6 weeks lol so 6 days without junk food will do me :) its great i just get worried at times because i feel like im eating so much lol.. how much have you lost so far ??:D x
 
1stone and half but slowly seem to be putting it back on lol

im 11 8 and want to be 11 1 so need to stop messing about and get on with it

aww dear you need to get your fab first week head on :D dont let all that hardwork slip away nothing tastes as good as thin feels :D.... im used to a 4 pound loss or more a week on vlcd so getting used to 2 pound or less is going to be hard but once i get past the first stone i think il be ok :) i hope xx im going to watch the fat doctor at 12, people are talking of somone called joy, so i dont know if she is a member on here hmm :D x
 
got on the scales first thing this morning (as normal just too see) and i weighed 11stone dead! that meant i had lost 8 pounds overnight ha ha ! needless to say by the time i had brushed my teeth i was back to normal. but it was nice to see 11.00 on the readout, iv never seen that before.

got a cold and feel poo today but not going to let that stop my ditermination to stick to it and loose some weight this week
