Tip for you girls if you can bare it, nursery rhymes! My sister recommended buying a cd of them, I just went on YouTube and found a 20 minute recording, Bella loved them - smiling and kicking away while they were on xx
 
I sing nursery rhymes to Thomas a lot, he loves it even though my singing is terrible lol

That's sounds like an awesome fast day! Well done huni! I like the mix of sw, 5:2 and normal days as it gives you the control and flex you need for daily living! I can't believe Bella is so big!! She's such a cutie pie! Xxx

Thanks Ging! :-D I'm pretty hungry but then I've only eaten 500 cals so not surprising is it? I also found it easier than expected.. I think I need to get as far in to the day without food as possible, for me as well it needs to be all about protein as keeps me fuller.
I'm sure I asked you on your thread but massive baby brain, is it just lettuce and tika chicken that equal 140 cals in your subway salad? Or do you add extras as well? I do like a gherkin! xx

Easier than expected actually. I found it easier being at home than I would have done at work where all I ever seemed to do was think of food! ;) I'm going to plan tmrws food in a bit, I can't wait to eat a big breakfast!!! :-D xx
 
Aren't the fast days great when they actually work and you don't feel too deprived! Plus you just remind yourself that you can eat as much as you like the next day which makes it more bearable!

I'm sure in the Subway nutritional guide it says the chicken tikka salad is 137...so I took think to mean the chicken plus lettuce, toms, cucumber, onions and peppers...If I have sweetcorn or cheese or dressing then whack on some more cals! :)

That mind set defiantly got me through yesterday, just kept telling myself I could eat tmrw. I think I'm going to base the remaining 5 days around 1800 cals and see how I go from there. Really must sort some proper exercise out again too...

I'm excited to be trying something new :-D xx
 
So, after a successful fast day yesterday I've decided to give the 5.2 diet a proper go. I will fast for 2 days during the week and eat around 1800 cals the remaining 5 days (no more than 2000 and no less than 1500) I've been on slimming world long enough to know what's good for me and what's not and will take its principles along with me but I need a change, Ive been stuck in a rut and all of a sudden I'm feeling excited again.

Trying to use up cupboard and freezer food and Charles is having southern fried chicken and I want it too so I'm going to have it!!! :-D

Oooh in other news Bella tried some porridge this morning and I think she liked it!!! x

Good luck with it Hun. Being excited is a good sign. You're more likely to be motivated and be successful.

Glad Bella liked her porridge. Oliver did. Baby rice however was not a success. X

Morning, another feed day for me today. Was originally planning a fast day but as my first one was only on Thursday I think I will wait until Monday until my next one.
Been up since 6 with Bella (yawn!) she has been waking at this time for the last few days rather than her usual 8am start, I know I'm lucky that she sleeps through but this wake up time is kicking my ass!!!!!!

There is a town and country fair on one of the parks today and my sister, nephews and nieces are going so I think we will pop along and meet them there. Charles is working this evening so I've got my friend Karis over, will be nice to have a catch up and then when she leaves an early night. I will catch up on the football score tmrw morning!
