Love these challenges Kay. I'm going to give it another go this week but I'm not weighing until end of the month, doctors orders to stay off scales for a month...

So hopefully il have a nice loss at the end of it all! X

UPDATE - for TUES 02/09/2014 - DAY 2 OF CHALLENGE

THE GET FIT CYCLE - DAY 2

Today is a GREEN/EE day. A small amount of carbs are allowed with one meal only. Your other meal must be carb free and a Salad Maincourse. Today you must exercise for a minimum of 30 minutes. 2 Litres of water to drink minimum. 10 syns allowed maximum.

THE TURBO CYCLE - DAY 2

Today is a RED day. Carbs are not allowed. You need to eat 2 Salads in the day. One should be a Side Salad and one a Maincourse Salad. Today is a Rest Day, so no exercise. 3 Litres of water to drink minimum. 7 syns maximum.

Evening everyone :wavey:,

Even though I have not been on the Salad Challenge (since I have guests over so its hard with all the entertaining) I managed to make them all eat salad for lunch today, hehe :D. I used a Greek Salad recipe from one of my SW magazines but tweaked it with some Quorn Chicken too, it came out really yummy, here are the pics I thought I would share them with all of you :-

IMG_1301.jpg (parsley, water melon, feta cheese, cucumber, dried oregano, black olives, cherry tomatoes, red onion, lemon juice, croutons, quorn chicken, green pepper, salt and pepper to taste)

IMG_1302.jpg When I served it on a plate I added the quorn chicken and croutons at the end so that they didn't soak and get too wet, I wanted the salad to stay crisp and crunchy right till the very end :p.

I will defo be making this again ! :D They all loved it ;).

Hi Kay.
Sorry just got home. Saturday night I was invited to the local indian and given last minute tickets to the moto gp at Silverstone. So I'm happy to report my efforts of 4 days minimised my damage to a maintain.

5. WATER: 1.5 Ltrs.
6. CARBS: None
7. BODY MAGIC: None
8. Syns: 10
9. Salad: Lettuce, tomatoes, peppers, celery, ham and eggs

Tomorrow's quorn salad already to go.

8. TOTAL SYNS/ TREAT CALS: 7 Syns / 140 cals
9. SALAD: Turkey, mixed salad leaves, cucumber, tomatoes, red onion, grated carrot and fat free yogurt.

6. CARBS: None
7. BODY MAGIC: 30 mins (just walking the dog)
8. Syns: 9
9. Salad: Mixed red and green lettuce leaves, cucumber, baby plum tomatoes, radishes, spring onion, sliced turkey, reduced fat cheddar (hex a), Branston pickle and a sliced pickled gherkin.
