NEW Kays Salad Challenge - APRIL to SEPT

Date: 12 July 2014
Cycle: Get Fit
Day of challenge: Week 2, Day 6
Plan: Red (An extra Red day because I'm off the challenge tomorrow
Water intake: 2.5l
Carbs: Low; 3 Finn Crisps (Synned)
Body magic: Housework which has included taking things to the tip, necessitating many trip up and down stairs to load the car (we have a 2nd floor flat)
Syns: 6 (so far)
Salad: Salmon, mixed lettuce leaves, beetroot, celery, tomatoes, baby peppers, cucumber and radish.
Dinner may count as a warm salad: bed of iceberg lettuce, Frylighted onions, peppers, mushrooms and tomatoes, sliced (free) Quorn sausage, chicken breast and an egg

Well done Patty for doing an extra Red day :D. Your salads look amazing yet again. Your doing fab on your water intake too. I hope you have a lovely time tomorrow :), just promise me you'll drink lots of water to wash away the extra salt they have in restaurant food :p, just a friendly tip, day before weigh in, hope you don't mind ;).

Thanks Kay I've tried hard with the fluids and it's been helped by another sunny day.

Tomorrow is a day with my sister, no restaurant involved, and as she's a SW maintainer too things shouldn't be too bad, just not Salad Challenge right! I'll drink as much water as I can - promise!

SW maintainer, wow that's even more brilliant ! I've got nothing to worry about then, I know you'll do super :p. Enjoy a lovely day with your sis and I hope its nice and sunny for you both. Good luck for Mondays result, you've done brilliant in week 2 Patty, I shall be waiting for your result anxiously :D.

THE GET FIT CYCLE - DAY 7

Today is a RED Day. No carbs are allowed. You must have protein and fibre in your meals. You must eat Salad as one of your maincourse for the day. Today is a Rest Day, no exercise.. 2 Litres of water to drink minimum. 10 syns allowed maximum.

THE TURBO CYCLE - DAY 7

Today is a RED day. No carbs are allowed. You must eat protein and fibre only. You must have one side salad and one as a maincourse today. Today is a Rest Day, no exercise. 3 Litres of water to drink min and max. 7 syns allowed maximum.

I'm fine and feeling so much more positive about my weight since the challenge so v grateful to u!!
Poppy's really well thanks - such relief - she had her school report this week - all excellent - amazing considering she's had 53 sick days off school over the year!!

The others are good too -all looking forward to their hols - my eldest son, his wife and toddler are in France at the mo and say it's v hot - so they're on the salads and drinking lots of water too!

Salad. Chilli chicken, egg, tomato, cucumber, lettuce, spring onion.

Well todays been busy... Got a decent lay in this morning. But only had a banana for breakfast/lunch. We went to a farm with the boys but I did manage to grab another banana and some yogurts so I didn't eat out with us been in such a rush.
So my tea was jacket spud with salad as I was starving and missed a meal really :/

9. SALAD: lettuce, tomato, cucumber, onion, cheese, egg, picked gherkins and onions. Pepper. Radish..
