Can't do computy things.I think all yuo got for a pic just now was a big red X.
Have resised the page & loaded it on here.just hope you can reinflate it or have good eyesight!
Any news on your results Tracey & Jane?
Love
I think that it was perfectly reasonable for you to take her comments to heart. She had no apparant reason to give you anything other than an unbiased & candid,if rather tactless opinion. That is a quite different situation from the 'worrying what others may think' thing. If she'd had weight/eating issues of her own,if she & you had had some previous niggles or disagreement then you'd probably have discounted her comment as being at least partly out of spite. It's Wednesday today and I have been a bit naughty and not posted much this week! I've had some lovely phonecalls from Jane and the time just flies by, it only feels like 20 minutes or so on the phone, when in reality it's a couple of hours
Great chatting to yuo again. No idea who moved the clocks foreward while we were chatting?
I had a phonecall from CD on Monday telling me that my papers have been marked, don't know whether I passed or not, but they are sorting out new sponsor, so am guessing I have, but haven't had the official phone call yet. Also not heard from new sponsor yet either. Hopefully by the end of the week I will finally have been put out of my misery.
It's now 10pm on Thurs....surely you've had a call today!
Kath the CDC from B'ham said on another thread that a friend of hers had her call from Camb Y'day.
As you know I had my call because i'd got anxous & rang to ask for the results.
I bought a top and a pair of trousers from New look sale in the childrens section age 14-15!!!!What was even better was the jeans were only £3
I sooo love a bargain
don't lose any more weight Tracey...don't want to see you in Babies Growbags
I mentioned in a previous post that the BBQ had gone well, what I didn't mention was I managed to put on 4lb that weekendFeeling better today though as I've lost 3lb of it, I'm thinking it was possibly water retention as I'd got very dehydrated with the alcohol so possibly my body decided to hold on tight to all the water I drank the next day (Oops nearly forgot, had a chinese Sunday night, so added salt too
)
lost 3 of the 4lbs already = Fantastic.
I mentioned the 4lb gain to a friend, who said she thought it was probably for the best as I was looking a bit too thinHave to be honest this statement threw me a bit, as she isn't the jealous type, isn't overweight herself and is a trusted friend. I worried about her comment for some time, then decided to be brave and ask some other friends, who all said I looked great and in no way looked too thin or gaunt. I thought I was over getting upset or worried about peoples comments, shows I was wrong about that! Other peoples opinions about me are obviously still important to me, I must work on that!

Attention Attention Light bulb Moment!
Tracey, i've just had a thought.
1.Earlier in the week Cambridge contacted you to update you on the plans they were proposing for your new sponsor.
2. during that conversation you asked how you'd done & were told that 'it would seem you'd passed' or words to that effect. It wasn't said more formally then thatas they hadn't begun the notification process at that stage.
3. Suppose that Gill hasn't rung you because she thinks that you already know that you've passed because of this conversation?
Ps you also know you haven't failed because they told me that they sent out letters to any who failed as soon as they finished the marking !
No idea if this makes sense, but it seems pretty plausible to me.
Tracey, have you heard anything?
Jane - Congratulations!
Love
Hope you hear soon Tracey. If you had failed (very unlikely!) I'm sure you'd know by now ...... so i think you must have passed! My lady that i sponsored didn't pass her accreditation first time - and i went through it with her and she'd misunderstood some of the questions - and she passed next time.
Where are the photos of the guinea pigs??? Want to see them! Loved the tale of how Deven reacted!! Bless!
I will get on the case this weekend!
As far as your friend is concerned - if you are happy with yourself - that is what is important. Everyone has different perceptions of us and maybe in her opinion you had lost a little too much. But if everyone else is reassuring you - and you are happy then it sounds like you have it right.
You're right, it just made me have a wobble moment as she is a very close friend who i know would never want to upset me etc. I thought maybe I couldn't see what other people see, if that makes sense! I am comfortable now, still have wobbly bits etc. but nothing I can't hide under some newly aquired bargains
Carry on with the bargains!!!
I reckon even if I won the lottery (which would be a miracle because I don't do it) I would still buy most of my stuff in the sales! I get such a buzz from looking at the before price and knowing how much I've saved
I know, poor sad woman

Dear Tracey and Jane,
I have been checking this thread daily to see how you both got on with your training - I am so happy that the ending to the story seems to be a happy one. I think you will both make excellent councellors.
Thanks Ruth that's lovely of you to say so
Tracey I do so love reading your diary - your kids sound fantastic. Deven and the nits heeheehee - priceless.
My sisters girls have a pet hamster who escaped last week and has not been seen since - My mum was walking them home from town the other day and asked the youngest Grace if she would like a ham sandwich when they got home. Bless her, at hearing this she stopped dead in her tracks, grabbed hold of her Nanas arm with a look of horror on her face and screamed "Nana not made with real hamsters!?!".
Poor little thing she must have been horrified!!!!
AhhhhThe things children say are so priceless! When I first read this it made me think of the programme 'Malcolm in the middle' My children love watching that and in one series the pet hamster escapes in one of those little plastic exercise ball things, then in each episode you see it rolling down the road etc.
I was quite interested to read about the comment your friend made about your loss. As my loss is becoming more and more noticeable a couple of my close friends who have previously been supportive have started telling me maybe I should stop now even though I am still approx 2 st overweight. I have reflected a lot on why they feel like this - is it jealously or a difference in perception of a healthy weight/size. I have come to the conclusion that it is most likely shock. CD gives such an amazing weight loss in a very short space of time compared to conventional diets and as such our visual transformation over this short space of time is quite astonishing - I still get a shock now when I look in the mirror and see my much smaller body and I think it will take a while for me to adjust to and get used to be a more-mini-lady. I think some of my friends possibly need time to get used to the new smaller me and perhaps their comments that I have lost enough are just because their brains as well as mine have not caught up with my weight loss yet. They say skin takes an additional 4 weeks to catch up with every stone lost - maybe some people are the same.
I think your right, I have never been slim (until now) so it must be so difficult for people to adjust, as you have said it all happens so quickly! Also I think it's a caring thing, and they test us to see what our reaction might be and then can assess whether we are becoming obsessed etc. I think maybe I'd have been the same pre diet and it was one of my friends. However knowing how good the diet is and makes us feel, I want to shout it from the roof tops.
The skin thing is interesting. Mine is just getting a little better now, still have a wrinkly bum and tummy thoughBut I'd noticed my arms and boobs especially looked like that of a 80 yr old
But now are a lot firmer etc. I would presume age has something to do with it all too, and being 40 I guess I'll still have to splash out on all the lotions and potions which promise an ageless body
Have a fab weekend ladies.
Patience is a virtue
Hi Nikki
I spoke to HO today and there are some problems regarding setting me up with a new sponsor, so it's not looking like I'll know for a little while yet:sigh: I'm going away for 10 days next Friday, so as soon as I'm back, I'll ring them again to see what's happening!
How are you?????

. I've phoned the RSPCA and lodged a complaint against him, they told me it was against the law for him to have done this, and would be looking into the situation. I've kept the wire and I said I was going to go out and cut the straw level but they've told me to leave it as this is evidence (dosen't help my cats if they get impailed though).
Hope they're wise enough to stay off until someones come & seen it.
There was a thread a few months back from someone who's neighbour had cemented bit of broken bottle into the top of their party wall. there was quite a bit of information there about legal aspects, but afraid i haven't a clue who, when or where it was.
Then I panicked as we're going away on Friday for 10 days and my eldest daughter will be staying at home to look after cats, piggies, snails etc. Luckily my mother-in-law has a cattery, which at this time of year is usually quite full, but she's told me she has a free large pen, so my puddies will be safe
No choice under the circs. neither you nor kim would be able to relax for the whole 10day other wise.
I can't believe someone can be so callous!! All he has to do is invest in a powerful water gun and spurt the cats whenever he sees them, they'll soon learn not to go into his terratory. But no he'd rather let them get cut to pieces:sigh:
i agree, water pistols work fine.they get the message quite quickly.
On a lighter note, we have fixed up the caravan floor today and laid those cheap self adhesive tiles you can get from B&Q, so caravan looking lovely and will be far easier to keep clean. Why do they put light coloured carpet in caravans
this is because caravan manufacturers are stuck in a 1980's time warp when the world was brown & cream. & they believe that all caravan owners are obsessional couples in their 60's who wear beige anoraks & never step in puddles.
Mine and the girls feet will smell like roses!
yup! & be warm, & dry v quickly & not get hurt by bits of grit on the washroom floor, & be cool & trendy. infact there's so few reasons for getting crocs I can quite see the sense in the boys' decision

Hi Tracey
I have been toying with the idea of crocs - trouble is these days I am going in and out of clothes so fast that I can bearly afford to keep myself clothed and not looking like a bag lady let alone buy new footwear. I have seen some cheap imitation crocs on the high st - maybe I could have a pair of those instead.
Take care xx
